Daily Tribune20-05-2025

His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to spearhead impactful initiatives aimed at fostering closer ties between nations and peoples, and promoting dialogue among cultures. These efforts, he said, reflect the Kingdom's deep-rooted commitment to global peace and sustainable development, in line with the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al Saleh expressed pride in Bahrain's distinguished international standing in promoting the values of coexistence and human tolerance. He attributed this achievement to the wise royal approach of His Majesty the King, whose unwavering efforts to enhance dialogue, tolerance, and global partnerships have contributed significantly to development goals and aspirations worldwide.
The Shura Council Chairman also commended the dedicated efforts of the Bahraini government in advancing humanitarian values and implementing programs that foster cultural and intellectual diversity. He praised the continuous support and leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for sustaining Bahrain's national achievements and driving progress across all sectors.
Marking the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, observed annually on May 21, Al Saleh said Bahrain serves as an exceptional model of embracing and respecting diverse cultures. This, he noted, stems from the Kingdom's deep-rooted national values and a socially cohesive society, as well as the principles enshrined in the National Action Charter and the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which lay a strong foundation for sustainable development and progress.
He further emphasized Bahrain's rich cultural and civilizational heritage, and its continued commitment to supporting cultural diversity and human fraternity. The Kingdom, he added, remains steadfast in strengthening international partnerships to advance human development and realize the shared aspirations of all peoples.
