BTS' J-Hope Drops New Single "Killin' It Girl" Ft. GloRilla: Listen

BTS member J-Hope is back to heat up the summer with his lust-filled 'Killin' It Girl' single, in which he join forces with Memphis' own GloRilla on Friday.
The K-pop superstar delivers a fiery verse while crafting a seductive chorus and then Big Glo invades the minimalistic production with her gritty Memphis flow, making for a delectable clash.
'Killin It Girl' follows a busy year for j-hope, which saw him release singles like 'Sweet Dreams' with Miguel and 'Mona Lisa.'
'Sweet Dreams' featuring Miguel — an artist I've long respected — has a smooth, soulful vibe that feels deeply personal. On the other hand, 'Mona Lisa' brings a hip-hop-driven performance energy,' j-hope told Billboard in May.
He added: 'Both tracks are easy to connect with, yet they offer a glimpse into the broader, more evolved musical world I'm building. This is just the start — I have plenty more musical experiments in store.'
The BTS frontman rumbled through North America as part of his HOPE ON THE STAGE tour, which included a pair of sold-out shows at Brooklyn's Barclays Center in March.
He wrapped up the global trek on Friday with a performance at Goyang Stadium in South Korea.
'I was hands-on with everything — stage design, choreography, fashion and even the props — pouring my heart into every aspect,' j-hope said of the world tour. 'I hope the audience left with a sense of genuine positivity and inspiration. Moving forward, I want to keep creating authentic performances that unite everyone through the power of music.'
As for GloRilla, she's coming off performing at the 2025 BET Awards and her fiery 'Typa' single, which arrived on June 6.

Russell Crowe, Henry Cavill Reunite for "Highlander" Reboot

Yara Sameh Russell Crowe is set to reunite with his "Man of Steel" co-star Henry Cavill for the remake of 'Highlander.' The Oscar-winner is set to play Cavill's mentor in a variation on the part played by Sean Connery in the 1986 original film. 'John Wick' director Chad Stahelski will helm the remake from a script by Michael Finch ('John Wick: Chapter 4'). Confidential.' In recent years, he's taken on more character parts in the likes of 'Kraven the Hunter' or starred in lower-budgeted movies such as 'The Pope's Exorcist' and 'Sleeping Dogs.' Crowe is next slated to play Hermann Göring, one of Hitler's most trusted allies, in James Vanderbilt's 'Nuremberg,' which Sony Pictures Classics will release in November. He also recently wrapped work on Netflix's 'Unabom,' which looks at the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski, as well as the Cold War thriller 'Billion Dollar Spy' and the action thriller 'Bear Country.' Stuber and Nick Nesbitt will produce 'Highlander' for United Artists alongside Neal H. Moritz, 87Eleven Entertainment, Stahelski's production banner, Josh Davis of Davis Panzer Productions, and Louise Rosner. United Artists has secured full rights to the 1986 original, which Lionsgate developed, with the potential to also develop a new series. Saba Mubarak Will Not Return for "Watar Hassas" Season 2

Yara Sameh Jordanian actress/producer Saba Mubarak will not return for season 2 of the TV series 'Watar Hassas". Mubarak parted ways with the drama due to being busy with other projects. Season 1 of the series debuted on October 27 and tackled the issue of marital infidelity and the secrets of the human psyche through three women (a doctor, a lawyer, and an employee), as the pace of events escalates due to the disputes between the lawyer and her interior designer husband, especially after she accuses him of infidelity, with the relationships between all parties becoming intertwined. The series also starred Injy El Mokkaddem, Heidy Karam, Mohamed Alaa, Ahmed Gamal Said, Mohamed El Amroussi, Hager Afify, Mohamed Aly Rezk, Ahmed Tarek Nour, and more. BTS' Suga Discharged from Military Service

Yara Sameh K-pop group BTS member Suga was discharged from the South Korean military on Saturday, the seventh and final member to complete the country's mandatory national service amid expectations of the band's long-awaited comeback. He completed his military tenure as a social service agent on Saturday with little fanfare as fans looked forward to his reunion with the rest of the band, a K-pop sensation since it started up in 2013. "We confirm that Suga effectively completed his alternative service on June 18 by using his remaining leave. His official discharge date is June 21," BTS' label, Big Hit Music, said in a statement. Unlike with his bandmates, there was no public event planned to mark Suga's release due to overcrowding concerns. The seven-member group put their global music career on hold in 2022 to begin their service at the height of their global fame, starting with Jin in December that year, each serving duties of varying lengths as long as 18 months. South Korea requires all able-bodied men aged 18 to 28 to serve in the military where the mandatory service can be for terms of up to 18 months. Shortly after his official discharge, Suga posted a message on fan community platform Weverse, saying he was "sorry for the disappointment and concern caused by what happened last year", and also extended his apology to his bandmates. Last year, Suga was fined 15 million won ($11,500) by a court for drunk driving while on an electric scooter. The band is expected to hold its largest-ever world tour in 2026, an NH Securities entertainment analyst said in a report. Details of a reunion have not been released. BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys or "Bulletproof Boy Scouts" in Korean, began forming in 2010 after Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Si-hyuk recruited RM, followed by Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. However, the band officially debuted in 2013, but it wasn't until 2017 when a highly successful US tour propelled their blend of pop, hip-hop and R&B - mostly in Korean - onto the global stage. Since then, the septet has become the most-streamed group on Spotify, the first K-pop act to top the US iTunes chart and several Billboard charts, and one of the most awarded groups in history. BTS has actively advocated for youth issues, including through a mental health initiative with UNICEF. It has also addressed the United Nations General Assembly and met with former US President Joe Biden to discuss the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes. In recent years, each of the seven members has also made a mark individually, with all scoring solo entries on the Hot 100. The band had previously won a deferral, when in 2020, the nation's parliament passed a bill allowing them to delay their duties until the age of 30.
