Bleacher Report suggests wild trade package for Bengals disgruntled draft pick
During the offseason, trade ideas can be generated every other day with the amount of news from the team's facilities. Whether they prove to be realistic or not is another discussion. For one analyst and his trade idea, it proved to be a very far-out idea, but one that, if Bucs fans saw go down, they would be over the moon.
Bengals first-round draft pick Shemar Stewart has been dealing with contract issues over the start of minicamp centered around the guarantees in his deal. The Bengals have been known for being stingy with their deals, and while they negotiate, Stewart has left the team to avoid becoming a distraction for his teammates.
On Bleacher Report, one of their analysts broke down seven trade destinations for the Bengals' disgruntled edge rusher. For the Bucs, the deal they suggested is one that we are not sure even Madden would allow to even go through, let alone even suggest.
Their trade package was:
Bengals send:
- Shemar Stewart
Bucs send:
- Chris Braswell
- 2026 3rd Round Pick
- 2027 4th Round Pick
For the Bucs, this is a deal that if the Bengals were to request it somehow, you would offer to pack Chris Braswell's bags for him and apologize for the eagerness you are displaying in shipping him off. Stewart tested out of his mind at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine and is poised to be a big project for the Bengals as an edge prospect, but his athletic traits are enough for them or any team to bet on.
Sadly, Bucs fans shouldn't expect him to be traded anytime soon, especially to Tampa Bay for a package like this.

Jake Fischer: Rockets might be Kevin Durant's top trade preference
Since last Saturday, it's been widely reported that the three preferred trade destinations for Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant are the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, and San Antonio Spurs. Because the All-Star forward's current contract expires after next season, his choice to sign (or not sign) an extension carries significant weight in these talks, since many teams won't risk surrendering significant asset capital if they might lose him as an unrestricted free agent a year later. Advertisement But among those three teams, is there one in particular that Durant and his agency representation might push even harder for? Earlier this week, The Athletic's Sam Amick said it could be San Antonio, citing something the Timberwolves were allegedly told during their negotiations with the Suns (Minnesota is seemingly reluctant to bid aggressively unless Durant wants to be there). But Friday, in a Bleacher Report video, veteran NBA insider Jake Fischer (now of The Stein Line) indicated that it could be Houston that Durant most desires. 'They might be the spot that Kevin Durant wants the most, when all is said and done,' Fischer said as part of a 2025 mock draft. Should a Durant deal with the Rockets reach the finish line, Houston's No. 10 overall pick in Wednesday's first round could potentially be part of the trade. A Durant deal is reportedly possible at any time, with the upcoming draft a key date in the talks. Should Phoenix acquire a 2025 draft asset as part of the trade, finalizing a deal prior to the draft would allow the Suns to make such a selection for themselves, as opposed to having a player chosen for them by another team. Advertisement But as great as Durant is as a player, he turns 37 years old in September. Thus, Houston is reluctant to dip too deeply into its warchest of assets. That's led to an ongoing standoff in recent days, and the Rockets' hope is that perhaps Durant's leverage will ultimately win the day and force a deal on their terms. Joe Burrow dubbed the Broncos' Achilles' heel by PFF
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is one of the NFL's best quarterbacks and a premier offensive player. Burrow, known for his football intelligence and accuracy, completed 70.6 percent of his passes for nearly 5,000 yards and 43 touchdowns in 2024. He out-dueled Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix in their matchup this past year, throwing for 412 yards and three touchdowns, while notching a 93.6 Pro Football Focus grade. This is why PFF stated that Burrow is the Achilles' heel for the Broncos. Although he only played them twice in his five-year career, his play against them caused PFF writer Dalton Wasserman to state that Burrow is the player the Broncos should study extra tape for. Advertisement 'Burrow has played Denver twice in his career, and he did well in both outings," Wasserman wrote for PFF. "The first matchup was a low-scoring affair in which Burrow recorded a solid 78.8 PFF overall grade. The second game was one of the best contests of the 2024 season. The Bengals were victorious as Burrow outdueled Bo Nix to the tune of 412 passing yards, three touchdowns and a 93.6 PFF overall grade that currently stands as the best single-game grade of Burrow's career.' The Broncos have the opportunity in Week 4 to prove Wasserman and PFF wrong, as they get a chance to face Burrow and the Bengals at home on Monday Night Football (view the full schedule).
