Disney reveals when 'Snow White' remake is coming to streaming

The live-action remake of "Snow White" will make its streaming debut next week, Disney announced Wednesday, June 4.
The adaptation starring Rachel Zegler as the titular princess hit theaters on March 21 and has since grossed more than $205 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.
The film adapts the 1937 animated classic "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," Walt Disney Animation Studios first full-length feature that went on to be nominated for the Best Picture Academy-Award and won an honorary Oscar.
In addition to Zegler, the new remake also features "Wonder Woman" star Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen as well as Andrew Burnap as love interest Jonathan and Martin Klebba as Grumpy the dwarf.
The streaming announcement comes as Disney continues to reimagine some of its most beloved movies from 2019's "The Lion King" to 2023's "The Little Mermaid."
Disney's 2025 live-action "Snow White" film will be available to stream on Wednesday, June 11.

The former Disney child star has also been accused of being over-sexualised and inappropriate during her current Short n' Sweet tour which runs until November. For her concerts Sabrina wears glittery corsets, garter belts, lacy baby doll nighties and has very intimate choreography. When she performs her song Juno, she sings, 'Wanna try out some freaky positions? Have you ever tried this one?' and acts out sex positions. Russell Crowe confirms 'Highlander' casting

June 21 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind and Thor: Love and Thunder star Russell Crowe has joined the ensemble of the new remake of the classic 1986 fantasy film, Highlander. "Yes... it's true... I shall be returning to the highlands... with a sword... it has been a few centuries..." there can be only one," Crowe wrote on X Saturday. The actor's post included a link to a Variety report about the casting news. Crowe will play the mentor to Henry Cavill's Scottish title character in the film about immortal warriors.
