
Ramadan charity drive by NMS
New Millennium School-Bahrain undertook a charity drive by donating boxes of essential grocery items to the Al Eslah Society (KAAF), a non-governmental organization interested in social, welfare, and charitable activities around the Kingdom, during the holy month of Ramadan.
The fund was raised through the 'Charity Book Sale' activity conducted by the Junior and Senior Students' Council. The boxes were handed over to the members of the Al Eslah Society (KAAF), who visited the school on 17th March 2025.
Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, Managing Director Mrs. Geetha Pillai, and Principal Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma extended their wishes for the holy month of Ramadan and appreciated the students for their noble gesture, which displayed their sense of social responsibility.

Annai Tamil Mandram marks International Yoga Day with special session
To mark International Yoga Day, Annai Tamil Mandram, a Bahrain-based social service organisation, in collaboration with the Indian Club, hosted a special yoga session yesterday at the Indian Club's Indoor Hall. The event began with a welcome address by Mr. Arul Ganesan, Assistant Treasurer of Annai Tamil Mandram. Led by Yoga Master Mr. Saminath Sekar, the session featured several qualified instructors who guided participants through a series of yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques, fostering an environment of calm and mindfulness. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Palanichamy, General Secretary of the organisation. Participation certificates, gifts, and refreshments were distributed to all attendees, marking a successful and engaging celebration of holistic wellness.

NMS - Bahrain hosts achievement award ceremony
TDT | Manama New Millennium School, Bahrain held the Achievement Award Ceremony on 31st May to felicitate students from Grades KG I to VI (2024-25 session), who have excelled in scholastic terrains. School's Managing Director Geetha Pillai attended the event. Cultural programs were also organised along with the award ceremony. 429 students in all were awarded with achievement and proficiency certificates. Geetha Pillai appreciated the efforts of outstanding students and teachers while Principal, Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma stressed on the importance of sustained effort and holistic development.
