Rumours Swirl around Love Island USA's Ace and Chelley amid claims of secret marriage

Speculation has intensified online over Love Island USA contestants Ace Greene and Chelley Bissainthe, following claims that the pair may have known each other long before entering the villa — and may even be secretly married with a child. The rumour, which has spread on platforms including X and Facebook, alleges that Ace and Chelley have been married for two years and share a toddler, all while concealing their relationship from the show's producers. These were deleted that explains how chelley and ace know each other irl and have been intimate and dated. I fully believe everything #LoveIslandUSA — princessmoon (@princessmo93743) June 18, 2025 The claims, attributed to an anonymous post circulating online, suggest the couple joined the reality show to 'test their bond' and potentially gain exposure for future projects, such as a podcast or brand deal. However, there is no concrete evidence supporting the theory, and fans have pointed out that if the claims were true, documents like a marriage licence would likely have surfaced by now. Viewers of Love Island USA noted that Ace and Chelley had admitted to meeting once before the show — an interaction in Los Angeles in January, which Chelley explained occurred during a friend's birthday celebration. Since then, they reportedly exchanged occasional messages, but both have denied being in a prior relationship. Some fans remain sceptical. Social media users have unearthed an old livestream in which Ace appeared to mention Chelley's name in a Valentine's message. Others claim Chelley has been previously introduced to Ace's friends, with accusations suggesting they had already been intimate before entering the villa. One unverified source even alleged that Chelley is intentionally avoiding romantic connections on the show to support Ace's game plan. Despite the theories, friends of the contestants have publicly dismissed the rumours, stating that any past connection was casual and limited by distance. Supporters argue that the online speculation is unfounded and possibly exaggerated by anonymous users seeking attention. As the series continues, the nature of Ace and Chelley's relationship remains a point of fascination for fans — but without verified proof, the marriage and toddler claims remain unconfirmed.

Matthew Perry death doctor to plead guilty

The main doctor charged in connection with the drug overdose of American-Canadian actor and Friends star Matthew Perry is expected to enter a guilty plea in the coming weeks, the US Justice Department said on Monday. Salvador Plasencia "has agreed to plead guilty to four counts of distribution of ketamine, which carries a statutory maximum sentence of 40 years in federal prison," the department said in a statement. The second doctor in the case, Mark Chavez, pleaded guilty last October to conspiring to distribute ketamine in the weeks before the actor was found dead in the hot tub of his Los Angeles home in 2023. Perry's lengthy struggles with substance addiction were well-documented, but his death at age 54 sent shockwaves through the global legions of Friends fans. A criminal investigation was launched soon after an autopsy discovered the actor had high levels of ketamine – an anesthetic – in his system. Plasencia allegedly bought ketamine off Chavez and sold it to the desperate star at hugely inflated prices. Jasveen Sangha, the alleged "Ketamine Queen" who supplied drugs to high-end clients and celebrities, is charged with selling Perry the dose that killed him. She has pleaded not guilty. Comedic television series Friends, which followed the lives of six New Yorkers navigating adulthood, dating and careers, drew a massive global following and made megastars of previously unknown actors. Perry's role as the sarcastic man-child Chandler brought him fabulous wealth, but hid a dark struggle with addiction to painkillers and alcohol. In 2018, he suffered a drug-related burst colon and underwent multiple surgeries. In his 2022 memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, Perry described going through detox dozens of times. "I have mostly been sober since 2001," he wrote, "save for about sixty or seventy little mishaps."

Avril Lavigne reunites with ex-husband Deryck Whibley for performance at Vans Warped Tour

Avril Lavigne recently reunited with her ex-husband Deryck Whibley during her performance at the Vans Warped Tour in Washington, DC, where the pair played a set together. The Canadian singer shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing her excitement about performing with Whibley, known for his role in the band Sum 41. Lavigne, 40, and Whibley, 45, were married from 2006 to 2009, after becoming engaged in 2005. Their marriage ended when Lavigne was 24, citing the feeling that she had married too young. Despite their divorce, the two appear to remain on good terms. Whibley made a surprise appearance during Lavigne's headline set, joining her to perform the pop-punk anthem In Too Deep by Sum 41. Lavigne praised her ex-husband, calling him 'a legend' and describing the crowd's energy as one of the best she had ever experienced at the festival. Their reunion comes at a challenging time for Whibley, who has been battling serious health issues. Last year, he was hospitalised with pneumonia and Covid-19, which led to complications including heart failure. His wife, Ariana, shared the distressing news on Instagram, explaining that his heart was under significant strain due to the inflammatory condition caused by pneumonia. Fans were excited to see the ex-couple performing together, and many commented on the sweetness of their relationship and mutual respect. One fan shared their appreciation, saying, 'I love to see the respect you and Deryck have for each other!' Others were moved by their ability to remain friends despite their past, with many likening it to seeing their divorced parents getting along. Lavigne's relationship history includes a second marriage to Nickelback's Chad Kroeger in 2013, which ended in 2015, and a brief engagement to Mod Sun in 2021, which also ended in 2023. Despite the ups and downs, Lavigne and Whibley's ongoing friendship highlights their enduring bond and mutual respect.
