Jordan drawn into Group C for FIFA Arab Cup 2025
The official draw for the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 was held Sunday evening in Doha, Qatar, where the tournament will take place this December with the participation of top Arab national teams.
The draw placed Jordan's national team in Group C alongside Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and the winner of the Kuwait vs. Mauritania qualifier.
Host nation Qatar was drawn in Group A with Tunisia, and the winners of the Syria vs. South Sudan and Palestine vs. Libya qualifying matches.
Group B features Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and the winners of Oman vs. Somalia and Yemen vs. Comoros.
Group D includes Algeria, Iraq, and the winners of Bahrain vs. Djibouti and Lebanon vs. Sudan.
The ceremony, held in a festive atmosphere, was attended by representatives from Arab football federations, FIFA, and the Qatar Football Association.
Matches will be played at stadiums that previously hosted games during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

No fewer than 13 of the Argentina squad that lifted international football's biggest prize in Qatar in 2022 will feature, led by Inter Miami CF's Lionel Messi, who is likely to feature in the opening game against Al Ahly FC on Saturday, 14th June. There are nine of France's victorious 2018 vintage, including Real Madrid C. F. star Kylian Mbappé and Les Bleus' then-captain Hugo Lloris of Los Angeles Football Club. Another three, Ousmane Dembélé, Lucas Hernandez and Presnel Kimpembe, come to the US as European club champions having claimed that title late last month with Paris Saint-Germain.
