Deputy prime minister attends West Point military academy graduation ceremony
NEW YORK: Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani has attended the 25th batch graduation ceremony of United States Military Academy 'West Point' in New York.
The graduates' batch included Qatari student, Lieutenant Mohamed bin Hassan bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as he received a bachelor's degree in Military Sciences.
The deputy prime minister was accompanied by a number of senior QAF officers.

Shura Council delegation concludes visit to Switzerland
QNA Bern A delegation from the Shura Council, headed by Chairman of the Council's Internal and External Affairs Committee, HE Yousef bin Ali Al Khater, concluded a several-day visit to the Swiss Confederation. During the visit, the delegation also met with Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Martin Chungog; Deputy High Commissioner in the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Kelly Clements; and Deputy UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Nada Al Nashif. Discussions during the meeting dealt with a host of topics of mutual interest.
