Mauritania hosts rally to condemn Israeli aggression on Iran, Gaza

Nouakchott - Saba: Hundreds of Mauritanians demonstrated in the capital, Nouakchott, on Friday, denouncing the Zionist aggression against Iran and the Gaza Strip, with US support. The demonstration took place after Friday prayers in front of the Grand Mosque, at the invitation of the Student Initiative to Combat Zionist Infiltration and Defend Just Causes, a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting the Palestinian cause and opposing normalization. The demonstrators raised banners and chanted slogans against the occupying entity and the United States, including: "From Chinguetti, greetings to proud Gaza," "No place, no place among us for the Americans," and "We reject the aggression against Iran," according to Anadolu Agency. The protesters held the United States responsible for the continued genocide in the Gaza Strip and the aggression against Iran, demanding an end to Washington's support for "Jaffa" (Tel Aviv). They also called on Arab and Islamic peoples to escalate popular movements and organize demonstrations to pressure the occupying entity to stop the genocide in Gaza and the escalating aggression against Iran. Iran: Israeli losses too dire, they to bury their deaths in dark

Tehran - Saba: Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security Committee, said, "The extent of the losses suffered by the Zionist entity is so great that they are afraid to announce them. From now on, they will have to bury their dead at night." The Iranian Tasnim News Agency quoted Azizi as saying on Saturday, "The enemies never expected our leaders to regain control in just 12 hours, nor did they imagine that a decisive operation could be carried out so quickly." He explained that "the majority of the Zionist entity's military centers were targeted, and most of them were completely destroyed." Azizi confirmed: "Yesterday (Friday) alone, we launched 23 missiles, all of which accurately hit their targets, and the regime's intelligence bases were severely damaged." Araghchi: Iran will never stop uranium enrichment, Americans committed betrayal

Tehran - Saba: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Saturday that his country will never agree to uranium enrichment, and that the United States' actions constitute a "true betrayal of diplomacy." In an interview with NBC, Araghchi added, "We no longer know how we can trust the Americans. Iran will never agree to a complete halt to uranium enrichment, and Israel must stop its aggression before any negotiations with the United States." He reiterated Iran's commitment to its right to enrich uranium, emphasizing that this right is non-negotiable. In response to a question about whether diplomacy could resolve the Iranian nuclear issue within two weeks, Araghchi said, "This depends on the Americans: whether they show a genuine will for a negotiated solution, or whether they have other intentions and are planning to attack Iran." He added, "Perhaps they have this plan, and perhaps they only need negotiations to cover up this plan." The Iranian Foreign Minister stated that: "What they (the Americans) did was a betrayal of diplomacy, and we don't know how we can trust them again." Since June 13, Iran has been subjected to ongoing Zionist aggression, which has assassinated dozens of civilians, military leaders, and scientists, and targeted Iranian civilian, military, and nuclear facilities.
