Sarah Jessica Parker reveals why she has no fashion regrets
Sarah Jessica Parker has insisted she has no fashion regrets.
The Sex and the City star has argued there's no point feeling bad about past style choices, no matter how "unflattering" or "ridiculous.
She told W Magazine: "I don't regret any of it, because what's the point?
"I'm sure there is a laundry list of things I should be telling you that were mistakes, whoopsie-daisies, wrong, misguided, unflattering.
"[But] all of it has been a gift; all of it has been ridiculous. All of it has been exhausting; all of it has been thrilling.
"All of it has been like I'm in a world that is just barely based in reality. What is there to regret?"
However, the 60-year-old star - who has 15-year-old twin daughters Tabitha and Marion with husband Matthew Broderick - admitted their kids aren't too fussed about borrowing her clothes or shoes at this point.
She said: "The sad truth is they don't fit them anymore. Their feet are the wrong size, and it's not going backwards.
"Thus far, they're not really raiding my closet or anything... They'll be 16 in June, and they like clothing, but it's not playing an oversize role in their life.
"They definitely have ideas about how they want to feel and look when they walk out the door, but they don't seem particularly distracted [by it]."
Meanwhile, despite claiming she has no fashion regrets, Sarah did previously admit she made a mistake by wearing a black dress instead of a traditional white wedding gown when she and Matthew tied the knot in 1997.
Speaking back in 2016, she told Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: "I just was too embarrassed to spend any time looking for a wedding dress."
And she later admitted to Marie Claire magazine that the couple weren't keen on having the "attention" on them.
She said: "I was too embarrassed to get married in white, and both Matthew and I were reluctant to have people pay so much attention to us. Which is ridiculous, because that's when you can relish the attention, when it's natural.'

Sarah Jessica Parker's daughters don't have the right size feet to inherit her extensive collection of designer shoes. The Sex and The City star has a famously opulent footwear stash at home after being allowed to keep all the pricey heels she wore in the hit TV show, but she's now admitted she can't pass on her treasures to her 15-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion because they don't fit. Sarah Jessica also revealed the twins use the money they earn from their summer jobs to buy their own clothes, which are mostly second-hand. She explained: "You know what, so many people rightfully ask that they just don't … they like clothing and I'll get a text a couple times a month asking can they purchase something. "But they mostly buy their clothes used. Almost entirely. Which I think is pretty common now with girls, young women their age, they'll be 16 later this month. "So they're pretty steady. They don't tend to be trend, they don't move toward that. They know they don't have a budget. "They don't have money with the exception of what they've earned. And one of them is a little bit better at earning than another who's pretty, she saves pretty well, they both had jobs last summer." During the podcast, Sarah Jessica also opened up about the contract clause which allowed her to keep all of her Sex and The City pieces. She said: "Previous to Sex and the City, I started working with a new attorney before I even met my husband. So about 35 years ago. And one of the most important things he said to me, outside of the fact that I think he's a terrific businessman and a great and fair attorney, is that from the beginning of our relationship, he said: 'You should always keep your clothing. No matter what it is.' "And he said: 'Some studios are gonna be harder to negotiate with about that because they like to have their own archive and that makes sense.' And he was totally right." She added: "There are studios that really wanna hang onto stuff. So it's a very complicated dance to get your pieces. But, so by the time I was doing Sex and the City, it was just in my contract that I have everything. "I mean, with the exception of something that a designer loaned us that needs to go back or a consignment piece from a vintage shop. But often those same designers would end up saying: 'Just keep it, have it be part of that archive.' So yeah, it's a huge amount."

Beyoncé brings out Miley Cyrus for II Most Wanted in Paris

The Grammy winner had a special treat in store for fans attending her Cowboy Carter Tour concert at Stade de France on Thursday night (19.06.25), with Miley joining her to perform their collaboration II Most Wanted from Cowboy Carter. I'm so grateful to watch you, to sing with you, Miss Miley Cyrus.' It marked the first time the pair had performed the song together live. Miley penned the song and admitted it was a "dream come true" to record it with the Crazy in Love hitmaker. She told W Magazine: 'I wrote that song, like, two and a half years ago. My mom would always go, 'I love that song so much.' So when Beyoncé reached out to me about music, I thought of it right away because it really encompasses our relationship. 'I told [Beyoncé], 'We don't have to get country; we are country. We've been country.' I said, 'You know, between you being from Texas and me being from Tennessee, so much of us is going to be in this song.' Getting to write a song, not just sing, for Beyoncé was a dream come true.'' The surprise duet comes after Miley released her latest project, the visual album Something Beautiful.
