After months of speculation, actor Kushal Tandon has officially confirmed his breakup with Shivangi Joshi, putting an end to the rumours that had been swirling online. In a brief yet telling post shared around 2:30 am on Sunday, Kushal wrote, 'To all the people I love, jus wanted to say, me and Shivangi are not together any more, it's been 5 months so yes (sic)." However, the actor deleted the post within minutes, which only added fuel to the ongoing chatter among fans and followers.
Shivangi, meanwhile, has remained silent about the breakup but recently shared a cryptic message on Instagram that seemed to hint at her emotional state. The quote read, 'Babygirl, love yourself a little extra right now. You're balancing so much, handling things no one sees, and doing your best. Give yourself grace."
The duo first met on the sets of Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, a romantic drama that aired from July 2023 to February 2024. Their on-screen chemistry quickly spilled over into real life, and by October, Kushal had publicly confirmed they were in a relationship.
Back then, the actor told Times of India that although he wasn't planning to marry immediately, he was 'definitely in love" with Shivangi. He also joked that his mother would have him married the very next day if she had her way, and happily added that his parents had stopped searching for a match since Shivangi entered his life.
Earlier, rumours of the couple's engagement made the rounds, but both actors swiftly denied them on social media.
Now, with Kushal's confirmation and Shivangi's reflective posts, it's clear the couple has quietly gone their separate ways—though not without leaving a trail of emotions behind.
