Content creators have filmed the interior of Pele's mansion following the football legend's death, revealing the property to be in a state of significant disrepair.
The Brazilian superstar rose to fame in 1958 at just 17 years of age when he clinched his first of three FIFA World Cups with Brazil. The forward had an illustrious career, spending 18 years with his childhood club Santos before moving to the United States to play for the New York Cosmos, where he retired in 1977.
After hanging up his boots, Pele became a global ambassador for football and supported numerous charitable causes. However, his health took a toll as in 2021, he fell seriously ill and was diagnosed with colon cancer.
After undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy, he sadly passed away in December 2022 at the age of 82. His cause of death was multiple organ failure, a complication from his previous cancer diagnosis.

The Santos icon's last but one residence was a million-pound mansion on Pernambuco Beach in Guaruja, boasting a football pitch, swimming pool, tennis court and bar, reports the Mirror. In 2024, influencer Lucas Wesley and two of his content creator friends gained access to the property.
Wesley, who uploaded the 90-minute video on TikTok in October 2024 which amassed over 2.5 million views, claimed they were able to enter the property after discovering the garage door slightly ajar.
The influencer took to Instagram earlier this month to reshare the footage he'd captured, leading to renewed attention on his discoveries on social media. He relayed that there was no response from within the property and that it appeared vacant.
The footage captured the totality of the poor state of Pele's mansion

"Getting to know this place and seeing up close everything that once belonged to Pelé is indescribable," Wesley said. "For anyone who is a football fan and knows Pelé's history, they would certainly be moved by everything there, just as we were."
Yet, he conveyed his emotional distress upon witnessing the dilapidated state of the property, which is under the care of Pele's son Edinho. "[It was] dirty and vandalised," he lamented. "For us fans, it leaves a truly sad feeling."

Wesley's video showcased the garden's football pitch, engulfed in foliage, and a swimming pool beset with algae, imbuing the water with a greenish tinge. Edinho's legal representative, Augusto Miglioli, countered claims that the property is abandoned, asserting it's merely an inheritance from Pele.
Significant undergrowth concealed parts of the estate, gates bore the signs of rust, and spiders' webs enveloped corners of the structure. Miglioli issued a stern warning to Wesley and his companions about potential civil and criminal repercussions.

Lawyer Thyago Garcia has clarified the legal definition of an abandoned property, stating that it's not simply about the building being unoccupied or in disrepair. "The mere deterioration, lack of maintenance, or even being unoccupied for a long period of time does not suffice to describe it as legally abandoned," Garcia said.

He further explained that just because a property can be accessed through unlocked doors or open windows, it doesn't give anyone the right to enter without the owner's permission.
Content cannot be displayed without consent
"Possession and ownership are protected by law regardless of property condition," he added. The mansion in question, which now stands neglected, was once a vibrant venue where the football legend entertained friends and celebrities in parties and gatherings.

Woman breaks down in tears at 'uncomfortable' sex party with boyfriend
A woman who asked her boyfriend for an open relationship has broken down in tears at a sex party on Channel 4's controversial new show. Tonight's latest instalment of Open House: The Great Sex Experiment sees newly married couple Sharmayne, 26, and Jamie, 29, from Essex push the boundaries in their relationship. The pair can be seen heading to their first social event to see whether they can find anyone suitable to join them in their open relationship. After speaking as a couple to some of the people in the Open House, the pair then split up and mingle individually. However, moments after Sharmayne sees Jamie flirting with other women, she grabs his arm and tells him that she wants to 'step out'. As the pair walk outside, drawing some suspicious looks from the other guests, Sharmayne tells Jamie: 'I just feel overwhelmed. It's just a bit much for me, the whole situation.' After Jamie replies: 'We're not obligated to do anything. This is our journey,' Sharmayne can be seen getting visibly upset before she says: 'I'm just uncomfortable.' Moments after, she begins to wipe away tears from her eyes as Jamie asks: 'Where do we go from here?' After Sharmayne says 'I don't know', she adds: 'I don't know if I'm going to be able to hold myself together now. 'I really don't want to do it. I just want to go home.' This comes after a man vomited after agreeing to let his partner sleep with another man on the show. Couple Tom and Lauren appeared on the new reality series on June 13 after agreeing to take things to another level in the bedroom after a candid discussion with non-monogamy expert Effy Blue. Afterwards, Lauren was seen reassuring Tom, adding to the camera that it was 'absolutely insane' to see him with the 'confidence' for them to have their individual fun before reuniting at the end of the night. The camera then panned to Tom rushing to the bathroom to vomit, telling Lauren it was 'going to be horrible' and that he felt 'absolutely petrified and sick' as she tried to comfort him. Following a strong reaction to the turn of events, Tom and Lauren took to social media to address viewers. On their shared Instagram story they answered a series of questions about threesomes in the bedroom. When asked if they would do a 'two male, one female' threesome, they replied: 'It's certainly something we would consider.' Another asked if they would 'play with' him and his wife and they explained: 'never say never' but they would 'want to build a connection first'. One fan asked what their 'first time' was like to which they said it was 'awkward and tense'. 'We were both nervous but learned a lot and loved it,' they added. More Trending To others they recommended swinging apps and confirmed they don't have any 'parties' in the schedule yet. 'What did you learn the most on the show,' one person asked, to which they said: 'Communication between the two of us, even the little things, and Tom learned to love the body he's in.' Open House is certainly not the first time Channel 4 has aired a provocative show, after their recent series Virgin Island, which left viewers gobsmacked and uncomfortable as 12 'adult virgins' were sent on a sex retreat.
