Shoppers rushing to snap up ‘brilliant' £10 paddling pool from high street shop which looks perfect for the bank holiday
WITH the bank holiday nearly upon us, this weekend could be the perfect time to enjoy your garden in the sun.
Shoppers have been rushing to Argos to snap up a "brilliant" £10 paddling pool that could be the ideal way to cool down.

The high street seller's Bestway 6ft Fun Odyssey Pool is £10.80 and is in the sale down from £18.
Not only is it said to be made from 'rigid heavy-duty transparent PVC' but it also has a fun ocean-themed design with dolphins and fish.
The capacity of the pool is 946 litres, but it only takes 15 minutes to fill up.
If you are worried about the pool ripping, it also comes with a repair kit as a back up.
It is designed for kids aged two and above and should always be used 'under the direct supervision of an adult.'
The pool is also multi-functional, and when it is not being used with water it can be used as a sandpit.
Thankfully it only weighs 1.8kg so it is easy to pick up and store when it is deflated and dry.
Savvy spenders have been raving about the pool on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
One shopper wrote: 'This pool from Argos is fab £10.80.
'Unfold and fill it up and when you empty it it folds up.'

Strip them off

Wear a hat
Another simple technique, but one that really works. Make sure that if your kids are playing outside, they've got a hat on. It keeps their face and head shielded from the sun, and also helps if you've got a little one who struggles with bright sunlight. If your tot struggles to keep a hat on, try one with a strap that goes under the chin to help.
Avoid the car
The car can be one of the hottest places during a heatwave, and often takes a long time to cool down. If you have the option, it's better to stay at home rather than taking kids out anywhere in a hot car.
Stay hydrated
This is always important, but even more so in a heatwave. Make sure you're regularly reminding your kids to have a drink, and top them up with cool liquids whenever you can. Use ice too to ensure it's as cold as it can possibly be.

This is a good benchmark to figure out when to buy your shopping. If shops are selling the item at a higher price, it's worth waiting to see if it drops. These fans are great and have various settings for how strong you want the fan. They cool you down easily and are very powerful on the top setting. "I love the fact that there are no open fan blades and that they are usb-c rechargeable, you would find it difficult even on top setting to run out of battery in a day even with extensive use. The grey lounger boasts 'breathable' mesh fabric and comes with a detachable pillow. The retailer's website suggests it's perfect for various outdoor activities, but customers particularly praise it as "perfect for relaxing in the garden". For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, Dunelm also offers the Helsinki Lounger at £35, available in four colours. It has a 4.5-star rating, slightly lower than the Amsterdam Lounger's 4.7 stars. In comparison, Argos is selling the new Habitat Cali Metal Sun Lounger in orange for £45, which has received exclusively 5-star reviews to date.
