Shoppers rushing to snap up ‘brilliant' £10 paddling pool from high street shop which looks perfect for the bank holiday
WITH the bank holiday nearly upon us, this weekend could be the perfect time to enjoy your garden in the sun.
Shoppers have been rushing to Argos to snap up a "brilliant" £10 paddling pool that could be the ideal way to cool down.

The high street seller's Bestway 6ft Fun Odyssey Pool is £10.80 and is in the sale down from £18.
Not only is it said to be made from 'rigid heavy-duty transparent PVC' but it also has a fun ocean-themed design with dolphins and fish.
The capacity of the pool is 946 litres, but it only takes 15 minutes to fill up.
If you are worried about the pool ripping, it also comes with a repair kit as a back up.
It is designed for kids aged two and above and should always be used 'under the direct supervision of an adult.'
The pool is also multi-functional, and when it is not being used with water it can be used as a sandpit.
Thankfully it only weighs 1.8kg so it is easy to pick up and store when it is deflated and dry.
Savvy spenders have been raving about the pool on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
One shopper wrote: 'This pool from Argos is fab £10.80.
'Unfold and fill it up and when you empty it it folds up.'
Mum shares the £64.99 paddling pool that won't leave you puffed out blowing it up & it's perfect for the warm weather
Many people commented on the post saying they had either snapped it up or were desperate to.
One wrote: 'Bought this today for my little girl brilliant for price.'
Another added: 'Got this today !!! Brilliant for the price.'
A third commented: 'I got one today it's great.'

It's not the only Argos paddling pool to be discounted.
We shared how parents have gone wild for the perfect £10 paddling pool as temperatures soar.
The Bestway Rectangular Paddling Pool, from Argos, offers plenty of room for little ones to splash about in.
It's a whopping seven-foot in length - or alternatively a nine-footer can be picked up for £17.50 down from £35.
Five ways to keep your kids cool in the heat
IT can be really difficult - and costly - to keep kids cool when it's hot outside. But Fabulous Digital Senior Reporter and mum-of-two Sarah Bull shares five ways to help, and they won't break the budget either.
Strip them off
It might sound simple, but stripping kids off at home can really help them regulate their temperature when it's warm outside. Just remember to regularly apply suncream, as more of their skin will be exposed to the sun.
Cool down bedrooms before nighttime
When it's hot outside, it can be difficult for kids to go to sleep - especially if their bedroom feels like an oven. If you have a room that's not in direct sunshine, keep the windows open to let in a breeze. It's also a good idea to keep the curtains closed, to prevent the room from heating up.
Wear a hat
Another simple technique, but one that really works. Make sure that if your kids are playing outside, they've got a hat on. It keeps their face and head shielded from the sun, and also helps if you've got a little one who struggles with bright sunlight. If your tot struggles to keep a hat on, try one with a strap that goes under the chin to help.
Avoid the car
The car can be one of the hottest places during a heatwave, and often takes a long time to cool down. If you have the option, it's better to stay at home rather than taking kids out anywhere in a hot car.
Stay hydrated
This is always important, but even more so in a heatwave. Make sure you're regularly reminding your kids to have a drink, and top them up with cool liquids whenever you can. Use ice too to ensure it's as cold as it can possibly be.

Shoppers rave over compact handheld fan that 'puts out more air than a big fan'
'Perfect size to keep in a bag or put in your pocket on sunny days. The speed is insane - this really feels like a plug in fan.' With the weather getting warmer and festival season starting up, many of us are looking for ways to keep cool in the heat without having to head back indoors. One practical solution is to buy a handheld fan that you can quickly switch on when you are feeling too warm. Easily placed in a bag or a pocket, these compact devices will quickly become your must-have item over the summer months. While there are many cheap fans on the market, it may be worth investing in a rechargeable device that can give you the airflow you need and can last all day without draining its battery. For those happy to spend a bit more on a device that will last longer, Amazon is selling the JISULIFE Portable Handheld Fan Life9 for a discounted price. Normally retailing for £35.99, shoppers can now snap it up for 20 per cent less at £28.79. Equipped with a lanyard strap for extra accessibility, the Life9 fan uses an advanced nine blade design and a high speed three-phase brushless motor to provide maximum wind speeds of up to 10m/s. With an RPM of 40000, this compact device will deliver a strong and stable wind. With a battery life of up to 18 hours, shoppers will be able to keep themselves cool all day long no matter the occasion. They will also have a choice of five wind speeds to match the users personal preference and the environment they are in. Weighing only 170g, this ultra-small fan packs a punch and can easily be stored away in a pocket or bag to be easily grabbed at a moments notice. Charging the device is also a breeze as it is compatible with regular USB ports as well as laptops, power banks and car chargers. JISULIFE Portable Handheld Fan Life9 £35.99 £28.79 Amazon Buy Now Product Description For those happy to carry around something a bit bigger, Amazon is also selling the HandFan Portable Rechargeable Fan for £26.99. With a 6-inch outer frame and five blades, this fan will deliver a stronger breeze than that of smaller alternatives. With six speeds, the fan is able to last up to 34 hours in normal wind mode. Alternatively, Argos has dropped the price of the Bush Pink Handheld & Foldable Desk Fan. Normally retailing at £15, shoppers can now snap up the fan for £12 just in time for festivals to begin. This collapsible fan comes with three speed settings that can be controlled with a single push button. In the lead up to summer, over 900 Amazon shoppers have bought the Life9 Fan in the last 30 days. Currently boasting a 4.3 star rating, some reviewers were blown away by the power that this compact device possesses. One delighted shopper said: "I bought two of these fans for a trip to Mexico. These fans are great and have various settings for how strong you want the fan. They cool you down easily and are very powerful on the top setting. "I love the fact that there are no open fan blades and that they are usb-c rechargeable, you would find it difficult even on top setting to run out of battery in a day even with extensive use. As you go up the power settings the fan becomes louder but that isn't a problem for me. These really are the best handheld fans I have ever had, I'm very impressed." With another five-star reviewer adding: "This little fan puts out more air than my big fan. It feels like I am using an air conditioner. I charge during day and it runs all night and I only use it on the lowest setting." However, a few shoppers complained about the noise of the fan, as one person wrote: "Nice little fan, but the higher you turn the fan up the louder it gets, very loud on high." Another reviewer agreed: "This is a great little fan. It would easily fit into a pocket. I took it away on a recent holiday. There are five power settings and at the highest level it can get quite noisy, but frankly the output outweighs the noise level." Despite this, another top reviewer added: "Keeps me cool during those summer days and the battery life is good for such a compact fan with powerful air flow, with handy lanyard. All and all happy with this purchase." With a further shopper commenting: "WOW! I love love love this fan. Perfect size to keep in a bag or put in your pocket on sunny days. The speed is insane - this really feels like a plug in fan. Reminds me of a well-known brand hairdryer with the fan technology. "I have never been able to find a fan that has beat this. As somebody that suffers from bouts of hyperhydrosis, this has been a life saver. The fan head itself is small, but when held at a distance creates a wide range of breeze." Dunelm cuts 30% off 'comfortable' £55 sun lounger in flash sale
Dunelm cuts 30% off 'comfortable' £55 sun lounger in flash sale The Amsterdam Charcoal Lounger is, according to shoppers "perfect for relaxing in the garden" And relax... and save money too (Image: Dunelm ) Dunelm has slashed the price of a "very comfortable" sun lounger in its latest sale, offering the Amsterdam Charcoal Lounger at a reduced price of £55.30, down from its usual £79, but only until midnight on Sunday, June 22 according to the company's website. The grey lounger boasts 'breathable' mesh fabric and comes with a detachable pillow. The retailer's website suggests it's perfect for various outdoor activities, but customers particularly praise it as "perfect for relaxing in the garden". For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, Dunelm also offers the Helsinki Lounger at £35, available in four colours. It has a 4.5-star rating, slightly lower than the Amsterdam Lounger's 4.7 stars. In comparison, Argos is selling the new Habitat Cali Metal Sun Lounger in orange for £45, which has received exclusively 5-star reviews to date. READ MORE: Cooling cushions, neck fans and other genius ways to keep cool in a heatwave ALSO: Amazon slashes price of 'massive and brilliant' paddling pool big enough for adults The adjustable Amsterdam lounger has four and five star reviews (Image: Dunelm ) The Amsterdam lounger's notable 30% £23.70 discount and its consistent four and five-star customer feedback make it a standout choice on Dunelm's website, reports the Liverpool Echo. A satisfied customer named Andy comments: "Very comfortable reclining lounger. Well constructed all weather covering is perfect for relaxing in garden Tempted to buy a second one, good value." One satisfied customer says: "Very, very comfortable recliner. This is so comfortable! I bought one of these and the Helsinki, cheaper ones, to compare. The Helsinki is comfortable and good value but this is next level! The padding is very comfortable and it's slightly longer and wider, I'm 5'8" and this is better for me. It folds up easily and is light and easy to store. The locking mechanism allows you to recline (Image: Dunelm ) Buyers will need to keep it out of the rain as the cushion doesn't come off to wash or dry, and one person's feedback added a comment on the locking facility on the lounger, saying: "Tilts back easily but as others have said the locking mechanism doesn't lock, it's no problem if you are on a level surface but if you are on a slight downhill you'll slowly tilt upright!" One purchaser was not worried though, saying, "I've just bought another so we don't fight over this one. It's more than double the price of the Helsinki (when being sold at full price) and you can leave that one out to get wet but I think it's worth it for the comfort." The head rest is a bonus for comfortable sitting but cannot be detached (Image: Dunelm ) Article continues below Another buyer gave the Amsterdam sun lounger four stars, noting one area for improvement: "Fantastic lounger very comfortable and stylish. Love that the armrests are thicker than my last loungers, a lot more comfy and roomy. Relaxing in these is lovely and the material keeps you cool. I dropped my rating by one star due to the fact that these don't recline back enough for my liking, just a few inches more would make them perfect." Alternatively, customers can purchase the Argos Home Folding Metal Zero Gravity Sun Lounger in grey similar to Dunelm's Amsterdam chair is priced £45, and also in a choice of teal or blue too, if bringing a pop of colour to the garden or balcony is a priority. The yellow version is currently reduced to £30.15, find out more here.
