Pack loud, sip chic, nap cute: The quirkiest travel accessories you need
A family going for vacation (AI image for representational purposes) Travelling isn't just about where you're going — it's about how you're getting there and what you're bringing along for the ride. This season, it's time to swap boring basics for watermelon-shaped neck pillows, pastel water bottles that double as accessories, and wearable fans that keep you cool and cute. Whether you're glamping in the hills or chasing sunsets by the sea, the right travel gear should be equal parts functional, fashionable, and fun. Neck fans are the new cool Handheld fans are passé. This season, it's all about neck fans that look like headphones but work like a portable AC. Lightweight and USB-rechargeable, these are perfect for sweaty airport lines, hot hikes, or sun-drenched city strolls. Extra cool points if yours lights up or comes in neon pastels. Bags with a twist Goodbye boring black luggage. Hello squishy totes, quirky slings, and jelly bags in baguette prints. 'This year, travel isn't just about where you're headed; it's also about how you express yourself along the way,' says Disha Singh, founder of Zouk. 'Travellers today are choosing bold, quirky designs that reflect their individuality and culture. It's not just about carrying your essentials — it's about carrying a part of your story. ' Quirky totes (Image Source: Instagram/ @the_madras_kadai) Suitcase, but make it sassy Custom luggage covers are having a moment. From retro cartoon prints to cheeky quotes and even pet portraits, your suitcase can now double as your personality on wheels. 'Luggage is no longer just about utility—it's a style statement,' says Naina Parekh, CEO of Eume. 'People are choosing vibrant colours, smart compartments, and ergonomic designs. It's about travelling proud — and organised.' Mesh sliders, fancy sandals and quirky flip-flops Mesh sliders, strappy sandals and foam flip-flops topped with oversized fruit charms are the season's unofficial uniform. 'For Indian weather, footwear needs to do more than just look good,' says Prateek Singhal, co-founder of Yoho. 'Mesh uppers allow air circulation and help prevent irritation or odour from sweat.' And as Natasha Dua, founder of Lino Perros, puts it: 'Style should never feel like a costume — it should feel like you, on your most confident day. ' Box: Sip in style Hydration has had a glow-up. Collapsible silicone bottles, pastel sippers, unique tumblers, and fruit-infuser flasks are being matched with outfits. 'This is ridiculous!!' Terry Bradshaw vents frustration after intense TSA screening at Missouri airport
(Image via Getty) Terry Bradshaw, the four-time Super Bowl winner and Pro Football Hall of Famer, was stopped for additional screening by TSA agents at Missouri's Springfield-Branson National Airport. The incident occurred Monday, shortly after his live performance in Branson for The Terry Bradshaw Show , which is currently on tour across the country. Bradshaw shared a video on Facebook, showing his visible frustration as he was directed into a private room for another pat-down. His Facebook caption read: "I'm not against being safe but…This is ridiculous!! TSA approved, had the body pat down, all the luggage checked, unpacked item by item. Now going into private room for ANOTHER pat down. Come on Springfield how many criminals come through here???? I guess I look like one today!!!" In the clip, the 76-year-old FOX NFL analyst is seen cooperating with airport security but adds sarcastically: "They got to go through my luggage now. I'm the Unabomber." The person filming, believed to be Bradshaw's travel companion, responded: "Terry Bradshaw's definitely a terrorist." Terry Bradshaw's tone drew mixed reactions. Fans flooded the comments, some amused by the situation, others urging caution about joking in an airport setting. A Pittsburgh Steelers fan wrote, "Detected too many Super Bowl rings." Another said, "Maybe the agent was a Cowboys fan?" One fan added, "TB should fly private." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 2025 Top Trending Local Enterprise Accounting Software [Click Here] Accounting ERP Click Here Undo Another commented, "Invest in TSA PreCheck, Terry. It's worth it and you can afford it." Terry Bradshaw previously denied involvement in another airport incident in Pittsburgh This TSA delay was not Terry Bradshaw's first airport-related moment this year. On April 10, during a flight landing in Pittsburgh, passengers were reportedly stuck inside the plane due to a jammed exit door. One traveler, Selah Gamble, told KDKA Pittsburgh that the issue was eventually resolved, jokingly crediting Bradshaw: "The pilot announced and you could kind of hear he was chuckling as he said it, but he said 'thanks to the strength of one of our passengers, we were finally able to get the door open.' And I think we all knew he was alluding to Mr. Bradshaw." Bradshaw later addressed the speculation on Instagram: "Just to set the record straight… I did nothing to open the door on the plane! The maintenance crew had it open in 15 minutes." Terry Bradshaw has been a staple in NFL broadcasting since 1994 and continues to appear on FOX NFL Sunday. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989 after winning four Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bradshaw has announced plans to retire after the 2029 Super Bowl, which would take place a few months after his 80th birthday. The incident at Springfield-Branson airport occurred as Bradshaw continues his live tour, which combines storytelling and music. Despite the airport delay, the Hall of Famer appears to be keeping a sense of humor about the situation, at least publicly.

Apple's new digital ID can be used at TSA but not for international travel
Apple is adding a new feature this fall that will let iPhone users upload their US passport to Apple Wallet. This feature is meant to help users go through ID checks at airports more easily. But officials say the digital version will not replace the physical passport, especially for international travel, reported New York Post. The new Digital ID will work at TSA checkpoints in the US only. 'While not a replacement for your physical passport, digital ID can be used for domestic travel and at supported TSA checkpoints,' an Apple spokesperson said, according to USA TODAY. Also Read: Apple CarPlay gets its smartest upgrade yet with iOS 26 Apple says the feature will let users safely store and show their ID using their iPhone or Apple Watch. People will be able to make and add a Digital ID using their US passport. The Wallet app is also getting a new design to make using boarding passes and travel features better, as per NYP. The TSA made it clear that the digital passport is only for use inside the US. 'It is important to have the physical US Passport available in case it is needed, and a physical US Passport is still required for international travel,' the agency told SF Gate. This update is coming just weeks after the May 7 Real ID deadline, which confused many travelers. As per NYP, some people tried to break the rules by spreading wrong information, like a rumor that Costco cards could be used as airport ID. The TSA ended that rumor, saying, 'We love hotdogs & rotisserie chickens as much as the next person but please stop telling people their Costco card counts as a Real ID because it absolutely does not.' So, Apple's new passport feature may help make things easier for travelers, but people still need to carry their real passport, especially for trips outside the country.
