WARWICK FARM INSIDE MAIL
REGULATED AFFAIR (6) went back to last from the outside gate before coming wide from the 700m and closing strongly to finishing a nose second to Farnicle on debut on the Kensington. Can settle closer from the inside gate. EQUERRY (4) is a debutant by Snitzel. Closed well for second to Rainbow Glow in his Apr 24 Randwick trial. FERNWEH (5) is a first starter by Turn Me Loose. Pushed up after a slow start to share lead and beat Rosa Incanta in his Apr 17 Warwick Farm trial.
BET: REGULATED AFFAIR to win.
AGARWOOD (1) is a first starter by Wootton Bassett and a half-sister to recent stakes winner, Lilac. Jumped to the front and raced away to score by nearly eight lengths ion her Apr 24 Randwick trial. LIPSTICK (5) was third to stablemate Tempted on debut in December. Returned with a second Impact Zone on a heavy track at Newcastle. SYLPH (13) raced keenly back in the field before making ground out wide when fourth on debut at Hawkesbury on Apr 9 behind Grand Eagle who has won at Randwick since.
BET: AGARWOOD to win.
FRANKLY SUBLIME (5) is a daughter of Snitzel and stakes-winning mare Frankely Awesome. Well backed on debut but raced greenly in the straight when a head second to Roman Forum at Gosford. WALK THE PIER (4) was a neck second to Correon on debut at Kembla when seven to Tomba at the same track last December. Returns as a gelding and has trialled nicely with two close seconds at Randwick. WINNER OF KOWLOON (8) will take improvement from her debit third behind Silver Wedding over 1100m here on Apr 21.
BET: FRANKELY SUBLIME to win.
STRUCK GOLD (5) improved off his first-up sixth when a length fourth to Tuned at Warwick Farm. Loves sting out of the track and should get an ideal run from the pole. NEGOTIATIONS (2) kicked off last preparation with a head second to Tanglewood over 1000m on the Kensington. Won his previous two first-up runs on soft ground over 1100m and 1000m. EXTRAVAGANT LAD (3) drop sin grade from his seventh to Miss Icelandic at Randwick. Nice win in the Cup Day Sprint at Orange first-up.
BET: STRUCK GOLD to win.
SIGIRIYA ROCK (7) was fifth to Evoporate in the Group 3 Carbine Club over 1600m at Randwick second-up then became unbalanced near the 150m when bumped in the Group 3 Packer Plate over 2000m. Drops in grade and back to 1600m. SEAFALL (5) has been unplaced in three first-up runs but battled away for fourth to Our Empress Zoe at Canterbury. Is a second-up winner and has won two from three on the soft. CORMAC T (3) resumed with a nice third behind Our Empress Zoe when resuming. Drawn out but won't be far away again.
BET: SIGIRIYA ROCK to win.
DAME COMMANDER (9) did a nice job in her first campaign with a maiden win second-up over 1600m before a sixth in the Callander-Presnell and a third in the Spring Stakes at Newcastle. Will be improved by her first-up sixth to Lilac in the Group 3 James Carr. VILLASAURUS (5) raced wide without cover when a length third in the SDRA Qualifier at Wagga on Mar 1. Bounced back with a good win at Albury. MISTERKIPCHOGE (7) ran on well for fourth to Enter The Dragon at Hawkesbury first-up. Settled closer when second to Collect Your Cash on the Kensington last start.
BET: DAME COMMANDER to win.
PINK SHALALA (10) placed in five of his first six starts before breaking through with a tough win from Up To Mischief at Canterbury on Feb 21. Resumes here and can go on with it. SECURE (11) returned from a spell with a smart win by over two lengths from Donwon at Canterbury on Apr 21. Looks the hardest to beat. KYEEMA (13) raced well in Australia two years ago with placings in a couple of Midways before going to Hong Kong but he didn't fire there. Has been good in his two recent trials including a win in his Apr 24 Wyong heat.
BET: PINK SHALALA to win.
HELLBENT ON YOU (4) resumed with a narrow but handy win from Formal at Hawkesbury before a long head third to Seascape on the Kensington and a nose second to Candlewick over 1200m here. Will run a big race again. JUST FEELIN' LUCKY (5) kicked off this campaign with a handy win at Newcastle from a wide gate. Drawn to get a nice run. MISS KIM KAR (6) ended last preparation with a hat-trick. Resumed with a strong closing third to Candlewick.

Headley Grange continues winning ways in Civic Stakes
Don't miss out on the headlines from Horse Racing. Followed categories will be added to My News. Headley Grange, racing's 'Mr Reliable', has surged through his grades this season and is now a stakes winner after he scored at Royal Randwick on Saturday. Trainer Joe Pride's talented sprinter has forgotten how to run anything but at his very best as he claimed the Listed $200,000 Civic Stakes (1400m). In a nine-race streak that began almost 12 months ago, Headley Grange has not missed a top two finish, winning five times. • PUNT LIKE A PRO: Become a Racenet iQ member and get expert tips – with fully transparent return on investment statistics – from Racenet's team of professional punters at our Pro Tips section. SUBSCRIBE NOW! 'It's crazy,'' Pride said when asked to comment on Headley Grange's remarkable consistency. 'He was good again, it was nice to see him step up that higher grade today. 'It was a tough win and that's never easy to do in a high pressure race with plenty of opposition. 'But he's a quality horse and he has come through the grades really well.'' Headley Grange, confidently baked into $2.45 favouritism, gave Jason Collett the third leg of a winning treble when he comfortably held off Welwal ($26) to win by a half length with Astero ($51) three-quarters of a length away third. The Bjorn Baker-trained Raikkonen ($5) settled outside Headley Grange early but then lost his position when stablemate Iknowastar came across in front of him. Raikkonen then ended up on the rail behind Headley Grange but when the winner eased away from the inside to make his finishing run, Baker's sprinter stayed close to the inside and rallied late to finish an unlucky fourth. But Headley Grange was a deserving winner - and he's not finished yet. Pride revealed plans to set Headley Grange for the South Grafton Cup (1600m) on July 13. The South Grafton Cup is one of a series of races where the winner is eligible to gain a start in the $3 million The Big Dance (1600m) at Royal Randwick on the first Tuesday in November. • It's A Knockout stuns rivals with dominant victory 'He's come back particularly well this preparation and we will go to the South Grafton Cup next,'' Pride said. 'We will try and qualify him for one of the Dances.'' Headley Grange has now scored successive wins to start his winter campaign after a brilliant first-up effort over 1300m at Royal Randwick two weeks ago. 'I don't think he was quite as sharp today as he was off that hot tempo the other day,'' Pride said. 'Maybe just second up he was a little bit vulnerable today but I would say he will bounce out of this win. 'I don't know if his best trip is 1400m or a mile (1600) yet. We want it to be a mile as there are not as many races around for 1400m races.'' Collett, who completed his treble on Headley Grange after his earlier wins on Callistemon and Lulumon, wasn't legged into the saddle on the Pride sprinter until the Civic Stakes field came out onto the track. Pride, who trained a double in successive races when Accredited won the closer, had made application to Racing NSW stewards to have Headley Grange walked out riderless from the Theatre of the Horse to the course proper. 'At the end of last preparation and again last start, when the jockey mounted Headley Grange he started to suck back and play up a bit in the yard,'' Collett explained. • Brave One's wide run no obstacle in Randwick triumph 'Joe asked the stewards if he could have me legged on last and be last onto the track and that way he is always moving forward and not in that environment. It worked as he was able to stay relaxed.'' The Civic Stakes proved an easy watch for Headley Grange backers as Collett gave the ever-consistent sprinter the smoothest of rides. 'The tempo was solid through the middle section and I had a horse travelling 'lovely' when the opportunity arose pretty early in the straight to pop off,'' Collett said. 'I did although it was a long way from home, especially at that tempo, but he just found another gear. 'When they came to him at the 150 (metres) he went again so that's a really good sign.'' Collett agreed with Pride's assertion that although Headley Grange's win wasn't as dynamic as his first-up effort, the rising five-year-old gelding showed there are better wins in store after he improved his race record to eight wins from 18 starts and nearly $600,000 prizemoney. 'The tempo of that race was different to last start,'' Collett said. 'It was genuinely run but Headley Grange has quickened off it and then he's had to tough it out. 'Both starts he has done it either way. Last start, a turn of foot and today he has had to show he was tough under pressure. They're great attributes to have – he's a really nice horse.'' INSIDE MAIL – KEMBLA JAMARNI (2) was runner-up behind his stablemate Cuban Rain over 1300m on a heavy track here on June 3 and followed with a solid third to Caelus at Hawkesbury. Good chance to break through. WHY WHY WHY (4) was good on debut when third to Jared at Goulburn. Battled away okay when sixth to Shalaa Jet at Wyong. Gets in well with the 4kg claim. SO LONG FAREWELL (3) has claims on his second to Kundabung on the Kensington. GAMBLER (3) has always trialled well but hasn't delivered. He was caught wide at Newcastle last start. Won both recent trials nicely and time to show it on race day. CODENAME (2) is a first starter by Hanseatic. Was okay when third in his first trial here on May 12. Took benefit from the experience and was very good leading all-the-way to a near four length win in his second 17 days later. COSMIC EAGLE (6) was a handy third to First Landing on debut at Newcastle. CUBAN RAIN (3) showed a glimpse last preparation when a strong closing second to Rybakina over 1400m here. Kicked off this campaign with a third to Winner Of Kowloon before a smart win from Jamarni. Good chance again. JARED (2) had been runner-up six times with a number of close finishes. Finally broke through at Goulburn first-up before failing on the heavy track at Newcastle. Can bounce back. BUTTERFLY STYLE (5) dug deep to run down Rubilace in a tight finish at Sapphire Coast last start. SPACEBALLS (3) will take improvement from his first-up fourth to Mia Ballerina in a Bm64 at Canterbury. Scored a good win at Warwick Farm first-up last time in followed by a close third at Rosehill. Well placed dropping back to a Class 1. POINT SCORE (6) started third favourite on debut when down the track behind Rivellino at Randwick in January. Returned with a stylish win over 1000m here on May 31. HIPPOLYTE ROCK (2) has claims on his Super Maiden win at Newcastle before a spell. RAINBOW GODDESS (3) had a tough run out wide and was no match for Ninagloo Reef but held on for second when resuming at Hawkesbury. Had a bit of trouble getting a clear run on straightening when a nose second to Inncourt at Wyong. Can give this a shake. WILD THOUGHTS (1) did a nice job on debut when third behind Modella here back on Jan 29. Resumes here off a hard held all-the-way trial win. Wide gate the concern. BORDER TOWN (9) will take improvement from his first-up third here on June 3. UP AND UNDER (1) will appreciate a drop back in grade from two placings at Warwick Farm. Led from a wide gate when third to Knights Armour then tracked leader when third to Trapalanda over 2200m. Gets in well with the 4kg claim. PIPLUP (4) finished seventh in that race behind Trapalanda beaten two-and-a-half lengths. His two wins were over this trip, one of the at The Valley last November. ANT (5) got home well for a close third to Dark Arts at Canterbury second-up before a win over this track and trip. ALLEGRO MISS (7) scored a strong closing win in a Class 1 at Newcastle before jumping up to Midway company and not beat far in both goes. Best form is on wet tracks but she has placed on a Good 4. DIAMOND SHOW (6) followed a second to Bella Montagna here before back-to-back wins at Hawkesbury and Wyong. Chance for the hat-trick. TOM CRUISING (9) produced a good effort for second over 1212m at the Sapphire Coast first-up. Will appreciate stepping up to the mile where he has won twice. AUDENZIA (9) was wide early before getting outside the leader then going to the from on turn when just caught by Twilight Elegance here two runs back. Similar story here two weeks later when just beaten by Charleroi. Due for a win. STEEL RAIN (6) is also closing in on a win after three placings this time in. Narrowly beaten at Goulburn before a two length second to Unusual Prospect in a Gosford Super Maiden. CHEEKY DANCER (10) was third at Hawkesbury before being beaten a nose on a Good 4 in a Super Maiden at Tamworth. Not far behind the placegetters at her two runs since.
