Katy Perry had Botox shortly after arriving in Australia.
The 40-year-old pop star opened her Lifetimes Tour at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on Wednesday (04.06.25) night and admitted to her audience she'd been struggling with jet lag, particularly because her and Orlando Bloom's four-year-old daughter Daisy had been waking her up at 5am, but joked any visible signs of tiredness weren't there because she'd had the wrinkle-smoothing injections.
She told the crowd: "You can't tell I'm tired because I got fresh Botox for Australia!"
Katy also made her audience laugh when she called for her assistant to come on stage and help her unzip her costume.
She explained she was struggling with the garment "because I've been eating too many Tim Tams."
During the Choose Your Own Adventure segment of the show, the Teenage Dream hitmaker - who will be performing another 14 shows Down Under this month - invited a group of young fans on stage to sing Thinking of You with her, including one boy in a shark costume, which referenced her infamous Left Shark dancer during her 2015 Super Bowl halftime show.
And that wasn't Katy's only interaction with her young fans, as at one point, she bent down from the stage to thank one supporter for "waiting for five hours" to secure a spot on the front row.
This isn't the first time Katy has confessed t having Botox treatments.
Last month, a satirical headline by the Onion joked Katy would be releasing a song called Stop Making Fun of Me alongside a photo of Katy taken in Melbourne last year.
She quipped on Instagram in response: "This photo is clearly photoshopped I would never let my Botox go that long, do better The Onion!"
Katy recently spoke of how much joy her audience brings her, particularly as she has faced a backlash largely due to her participation in Blue Origin's recent all-female space flight, as well as for working with controversial producer Dr. Luke - who has been accused of abuse by Kesha - and also faced mocking over the choreography on her 'Lifetimes' tour.
She wrote on an Instagram fan account: "What's real is seeing your faces every night, singing in unison, reading your notes, feeling your warmth. I find people to lock eyes and sing with and I know we are healing each other in a small way when I get to do that co l'm not perfect, and I actually have omitted that word from my vocabulary, l'm on a human journey playing the game of life with an audience of many and sometimes I fall but... I get back up and go on and continue to play the game and somehow through my battered and bruised adventure I keep looking to the light and in that light a new level UNLOCKS (sic)"

Indy Clinton has revealed she has hired a private investigator to get the private details of those people leaving hurtful or 'troll' comments on her popular social media accounts. 'How it feels receiving a 64-page report from my PI after an extensive three-month investigation on all my ladies (mothers) who have continuously bullied, defamed and trolled me and my family for months n months and even years,' she wrote. The harassment could also contravene existing defamation or harassment laws. Other followers were less sympathetic. 'So, you got a PI because people troll you. Yet, you're the one that puts up all the ridiculous things you do. Exploiting your children and husband then you complain because people make harsh comments. Yet, it's never affected you enough to stop posting. You just found a new angle to get attention,' one person wrote. 'Have fun with that. Trolling isn't illegal,' another wrote. 'Your weird,' another added. Clinton spoke to The Daily Telegraph about her decision to hire a private investigator. 'Some of the defamatory things which have been said about me in recent years are extremely distressing,' Clinton began. 'I will use my platform and my voice to not only spread awareness but to make an impact.' Clinton then spoke about the toll trolling has taken on her. 'Lives are being taken,' she said. 'For me - a few months ago - what I endured was life or death.'

A pop extravaganza took place at RAC arena Sunday night as thousands of loyal 'KatyCats' assembled in anticipation of superstar Katy Perry's The Lifetimes Tour, for the first of her two Perth shows. The atmosphere was electric as fans sported costumes from the singer's iconic outfits as an ode to their favourite hits. The pop queen didn't hold back in delivering the spectacle crowds were expecting, ensuring every facet of the show went the extra mile to impress. From riding a gargantuan mechanical butterfly across the arena to being propelled through the air on aerial lines — all while belting out songs — Perry confirmed her status as a seasoned pop icon. Opening with song Artificial (feat JID) set the tone for the AI-themed show, featuring Perry in a video game world fighting the villainous AI technology known as 'main-frame'. As the audience was sucked into her vortex via larger-than-life visuals, the singer rose from the depths of the infinity-shaped stage, dressed in a futuristic robot-inspired costume complete with thigh-high metallic boots. If it all sounds a little gimmicky, that's because it was, aligning with the over-the-top fantastical worlds Perry seeks to create with each tour. Fans were mesmerised by the epic visuals, jaw-dropping set design and multiple costumes changes, bursting into song alongside mega hits Woman's World, California Gurls, Teenage Dream and latest dance anthem Lifetimes. Taking time to interact and connect with fans, the singer accepted posters and gifts from the crowd, including a pack of Tim Tams that she shared with two young fans on stage — her signature quirky charm on full display. The show is the star's fifth world tour in promotion of her seventh studio album, titled 143. While the singer experienced backlash after the recent Blue Origin space flight that has extended to criticism of The Lifetimes Tour's themes, Perry maintains her messaging of acceptance and belonging throughout the show, that originally garnered her millions of fans on the brink of her 2011 California Dreams Tour. Any criticisms were clearly left behind as the audience couldn't get enough of Perry's stage presence and powerhouse vocals.
