OneOdio Studio Max 1 DJ headphones review: Pro-level sound and 100+ hour battery
Over the past two weeks, I've been testing the OneOdio Studio Max 1 DJ headphones, specifically, the co-branded Ariana Edition. These headphones offer low-latency wireless audio, long battery life, and comfort tailored for DJs and creators alike.
Design
Although the Studio Max 1 is primarily built from plastic, the design doesn't feel cheap, thanks to metal reinforcements in the hinges and headband. The headset is predominantly black, but the red stitching on the headband, red backing inside the ear cups, and silver "L" and "R" markings add a touch of subtle style to the overall design.
The outside of the earcups has a grooved plastic finish that unfortunately scratches relatively easily. Still, they swivel and rotate freely, allowing DJs to monitor with one ear.
In the box, you'll also find three cables (3.5mm, 6.35mm, and a combo cable), a USB-C charging cable, a carrying pouch, a wireless transmitter, and some documentation.
Comfort and fit
Despite weighing 352 grams, the Studio Max 1 is surprisingly comfortable. The memory foam ear cushions are thick and soft, and the headband is well-padded without putting pressure on the crown. The earcups are large and encompass the ears without clamping too tightly.
I wore them for extended sessions, and while the earcups do get a bit warm, that's par for the course with over-ears. The generous padding and adjustability make these comfortable for both casual listening and serious mixing.
Sound quality
I found the sound signature is clear and balanced, with deep bass and crisp treble. A built-in equaliser can be activated by double-pressing the power button, which adds a noticeable low-end punch. The EQ mode has an impact on bass-heavy tracks, but I preferred to leave it off. The headphones are equipped with 50mm composite diaphragm drivers and LDAC support for Hi-Res audio. Regardless of what I was using them for, the sound quality remained consistently impressive, particularly for the price.
Battery life
Battery life is where the Studio Max 1 truly stands out, outshining many other brands with up to 120 hours of playback. The quick charge feature is also a welcome bonus, just 5 minutes of charging gives you an extra 2.5 hours of listening time. The included wireless transmitter lasts up to 15 days with daily use and adds only 20ms of latency, making it ideal for real-time DJ monitoring.
Features and connectivity
What makes the Studio Max 1 unique is its flexibility across a wide range of use cases. They support four different connection modes: DJ Wireless Mode via the included low-latency dongle (20x faster than conventional Bluetooth), a professional-grade 6.35mm wired option for traditional setups, a 3.5mm jack for everyday compatibility, and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless listening on the go. Switching between Bluetooth and the wireless dongle is seamless, thanks to a dedicated button on the right earcup.
It's worth noting that when using a physical cable connection, the headphones automatically power off, which disables the onboard EQ and volume buttons. While this might seem like a drawback, the analogue fidelity of the wired connection makes up for the loss of digital features.
The built-in microphone system performs admirably as well. Dual microphones with ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) effectively isolate your voice, making it suitable for calls and voice recordings, even in moderately noisy environments. During my outdoor tests, the headphones effectively suppressed wind and traffic noise while maintaining clear and intelligible vocals.
Verdict
The OneOdio Studio Max 1 DJ headphones offer low latency and a comfortable fit. While build quality could be a tad more refined, they offer excellent value, especially for DJs or audio creators. If you're after a versatile, long-lasting, and great-sounding pair of headphones for professional or casual use, the Studio Max 1 deserves a spot on your shortlist.

Vinyl is back, and in a big way. I'm constantly amazed at how busy my local record shops are, no matter when I stop by. Whether you're rediscovering dusty favourites or starting fresh, modern turntables like the Majority Stylo blend old-school charm with new-school convenience, including Bluetooth streaming. Design and build The Majority Stylo certainly looks the part, featuring an all-black, minimalist aesthetic that gives it a sleek and modern appearance. It has a matt black MDF plinth that is clean and understated. The aluminium die-cast platter adds a bit of weight and stability, and the carbon fibre tonearm is a surprising touch at this price point. It feels more premium than expected, though the overall construction is light. This isn't a tank of a turntable, but it's solid enough for regular use. There are a few plastic elements that remind you it's an entry-level model, but nothing that feels flimsy or likely to break with careful handling. Features The Stylo is packed with features that make it appealing to newcomers and casual listeners. The built-in phono preamp allows you to connect it directly to powered speakers or systems without the need for a dedicated phono stage. There's also a pitch control slider for minor speed tweaks, which is useful for correcting minor playback issues. Of course, the big feature here is Bluetooth connectivity. It streams wirelessly to any compatible speaker, headphones, or hi-fi system, with no cables needed. That kind of freedom is a huge win, especially in small spaces or clean setups where you want fewer wires on show. You also receive a pre-installed Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge, which provides reliable tracking and a smooth, balanced sound. It's not high-end audiophile gear, but it's more than enough to bring your records to life. One area where the Stylo could use improvement is the pre-amp. While it's great to have, it's a little underpowered. You'll get better results running it through a separate amp or powered speakers with some extra grunt. Another downside is the lack of an autostop function. The platter continues to spin at the end of a record, which means you'll need to be nearby to avoid unnecessary stylus wear. Real-world use I tested the Stylo with Majority's own D100 bookshelf speakers, using both Bluetooth and a direct line-in connection. The Bluetooth pairing was fast and hassle-free. It worked right out of the box, and within seconds, I had warm, rich vinyl playing wirelessly. This is precisely the kind of plug-and-play simplicity newcomers need. The D100 speakers proved an excellent match. Their clarity and balanced response brought out the best in the Stylo's sound. There was none of the harshness you sometimes get with budget Bluetooth setups. Vinyl purists might still prefer a direct wired connection, and I tried that too. Unsurprisingly, the wired route gave a little more punch and detail, especially at higher volumes. Bluetooth doesn't match the fidelity of a clean analogue signal, but the trade-off for convenience is more than fair, especially in everyday listening scenarios. I found myself reaching for the wireless option more often, simply because of its convenience. Verdict The Majority Stylo is a versatile turntable that nails the basics, sounds excellent, and keeps things simple. With solid audio performance, good build quality, and an accessible price, it's easy to recommend. €249

Ugreen FineTracker review: more affordable AirTag alternatives for iPhone users
Ugreen is one of my favourite accessories and peripherals brands. It makes stylish chargers and power banks that are both powerful and portable. When you are out and about or travelling you aren't always near a plug if you start to run low on power for your devices, which is where a decent portable power bank is useful. Ugreen has been expanding its portfolio of products and recently entered the NAS storage market with a range of superb home servers. And now Ugreen has launched two innovative Bluetooth tracking devices designed for Apple users. Both devices are Apple Find My certified, offering global location tracking, real-time item monitoring, and intelligent anti-loss alerts without the need for an additional app. Here's everything you need to know about the Ugreen FineTracker Tag and FineTracker Slim Wallet Tracker… This versatile tracker helps locate an array of objects such as keys and luggage. Powered by a CR2032 battery, it offers up to two years of typical operation before requiring a battery replacement, which is twice the endurance of other trackers I have tested. For easy attachment, the Tag includes a keyring hole and lanyard. The device utilises the Apple Find My network. This flat alternative to AirTag measures 36mm x 36mm x 7.3mm and looks like an old school Tile tracker. It includes a built-in keyring which gives it a big advantage over its Apple rival. Tracking within the Apple Find My app is quick, easy and reliable no matter where in the world you are. Pairing with the app is simple. If you misplace your keys at home, you can find it easily enough thanks to the loud speaker built into the Ugreen tag. However, the tracker does not include the Precision Finding tech of AirTag so you cannot see the exact directions. The Ugreen tag supports the Find My app's Left Behind notifications that pop up on your phone if you leave it behind anywhere. It comes with a CR2032 lithium battery pre-installed. You just need to peel off the protective film before using the unit. Replacing the battery is easier than with AirTag as the removable cover here is easy to take off thanks to the included SIM ejector pin. This credit-card-shaped waterproof device is designed for wallet tracking. It is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and utilises Apple's extensive Find My network to help you find your lost or misplaced wallet. It's not only useful for wallets. It can be hidden in a backpack pocket easily without taking up too much room. It's about 84mm x 53mm x 1.7mm in size and weighs just 12g. At the time of testing, Apple does not offer a dedicated wallet finder like Ugreen. The tracker is slightly thicker than a credit card (1.7mm thick) but the same overall size otherwise so it fits into my wallet easily. Like the Ugreen tag, it includes a loud 80dB speaker that is most helpful if your wallet falls down the back of the sofa or you leave it under a pile of clothes. There's no precision finding, unfortunately. Like the Tag, the Wallet Tracker can be paired with the Find My app in a matter of seconds. Plus points of the card are intelligent anti-loss alerts (you get a notification if you leave it behind somewhere) and the fact that it can be recharged with magnetic fast charging. The caveat here is you can only recharge it with a proprietary cable that you are going to have to store safely for a year and then remember where you stored it when needed. Wireless charging or USB-C charging would be much more helpful. There is a power button that you must hold firmly for at least two seconds which means you avoid accidental switches off. Ugreen has delivered two reliable and more affordable smart tracker alternatives to AirTag for iPhone and Apple users to keep track of their most precious possessions. And the two design options, one for a keyring and one for a wallet, offer greater flexibility.
