On June 11, Fortnite's official account replied to a tweet by renowned leaker @HYPEX with an image showing a card featuring the Llama logo and a number: 121334 81760. Fans quickly noticed the similarity to the Squid Game invitation cards from the series. But instead of releasing a typical trailer, Epic encouraged users to call the number - leading to a static-filled, 30-second audio clip.

The sound may have seemed like meaningless noise at first, but dedicated fans quickly uncovered its secret.
When the audio was run through a visualizer, it revealed the hidden message: 'Red Greens, Square Meals, Affluent Arrivals, June 27.'
