One of Hollywood's biggest and most successful producers has confirmed a Days of Thunder sequel is in the works.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight's Nischelle Turner at the premiere of F1: The Movie , Jerry Bruckheimer lifted the lid on 'the next one', noting how the movie's original star – Tom Cruise – will help, um, steer the film.

Which means we've got high hopes for the sequel. Long time coming, too. The original came out in 1990 and quickly became one of the decade's most quotable action flicks – including Duvall's immortal 'rubbin', son, is racin'' line – and with the F1 movie proving to be a hit, demand is high for more tyre-destroying action.
Oh, there'll be a bit of 'movie' sprinkled in there too. 'It's always about the emotion,' Bruckheimer said. 'It's always about the journey we take you on. The highs and the lows and the humour and the romance. We want it in our lives, we want that. You want to go through that experience and feel better when you come out of it.'

Awkward moment fan's drink explodes over Livvy Dunne after he dropped it while giving her a hug

Former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne made a splash at Fanatics Fest on Friday. The 22-year-old was doused in Sprite as she arrived at the event's second instalment, which brings a host of celebrities and sports fans to New York City. Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Stephen A. Smith, Jaxson Dart and Peyton Manning were also among the star-studded attendees on Friday. But none had a more unfortunate start to their day than Dunne, who was filmed hugging a man after arriving in New York. He was holding a can of Sprite and, unfortunately for the former gymnast, the man let go of the drink while embracing Dunne. After the can hit the floor, it sent the soft drink spraying in all directions - including over Dunne. Dunne shocked social media when she appeared to make a sexual reference earlier on Friday Thankfully, however, Dunne - who was wearing blue jeans and a white sleeveless top - saw the funny side. She even apologized for her role in the chaos. It wasn't the first time on Friday that Dunne had gone viral. Earlier, the ex-gymnast sent social media into a spin after appearing to make a steamy sexual reference about herself and actress Madelyn Cline. It came after a user on X described the upcoming College World Series between LSU and Coastal Carolina as the 'Madelyn Cline vs Livvy Dunne Bowl', given the pair's previous education at the rival schools. The fairly innocent comment was then taken deep into left-field by Dunne, who surprisingly replied: 'Gooner World Series'. Fans were immediately left stunned by the apparent sexual reference posted by the gymnastics icon, with one writing: 'This can't be real.' Another added, 'had to check three times that this wasn't a parody account,' while a third noted: 'She get hacked???'

Duchess of Sussex announces launch of own wine

New products from the Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle brand have sold out in just a few hours, as she also announced she is also launching her own wine. The rose, described as having 'soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish', on her As Ever website, will be available to buy next month. The new range of food items that went on sale on Friday included a 'limited edition orange blossom honey' at a cost of 28 dollars (£20). Also available were an apricot spread in 'keepsake packaging', and a crepe mix, both £10 each, flower sprinkles for £11 and a range of different herbal teas at £9 for a box of 12 sachets. The new range went on sale at 4pm UK time, and had all sold out by just before 8pm. Meanwhile, a message on the homepage of the As Ever site read: 'Our debut Napa Valley rose is launching just in time for summer entertaining. 'With soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish, this bespoke blend is launching just in time for summer entertaining, and will be available for purchase on July 1st.' In an Instagram post at the same time as the new products went live, the California-based duchess wrote: 'Yummies, and honeys, and fruit spreads, oh my!' Meghan had promised some 'delicious surprises' as she teased, earlier this week, that she would be offering some new products on the site. She previously said the original April launch had been 'absolutely extraordinary'. But she also spoke of her fear that she annoyed customers when the first batch of her jam and herbal teas sold out in less than an hour. She said wanted to wait until it is 'completely stable and we have everything we need'. In the run-up to her re-stock, Meghan shared a photo of jam-making preparations including bowls of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, and freshly squeezed lemons, on her Instagram stories, writing: ''June gloom?' Not over here! Because this month your favourite products are back.' Her official As Ever account also posted: 'To all who've been wondering and waiting, thank you!
