MANE ATTRACTION Wayne Bridge 'buzzing' after £7k hair transplant as he shows off incredible transformation
WAYNE Bridge says he's "buzzing" after a £7,000 hair transplant fixed his thinning scalp.
The 44-year-old former England footballer underwent the procedure with the full support of his wife Frankie, 36, who loves his new look.

Ex-Man City and Chelsea fullback Bridge had been losing his hair right across his scalp for around 10 years.
By the time of his transplant last September his hair was sparse and he was always trying to hide his baldness.
He explained: 'I used to move it around to cover it up. I didn't get a lot of banter about it from mates because I was so good at hiding it.
'I work in the media and knew that I would really benefit from getting it sorted. You feel so much more confident when your hair looks good."
Bridge - who won 36 England caps before retiring in 2014 - had 4,085 hairs implanted into the thinning areas of his scalp using the advanced Direct Hair Implantation technique.
He said: 'It's like I have got a full head of hair again and the transformation is pretty unbelievable.
'When I look at the before and after pictures it is pretty amazing and it has done so much for my self-confidence.'
Bridge added: 'It is so much thicker now and it takes me no time to get it sorted out. I jump out of the shower, use a bit of product and then I am out. I'm buzzing and it means I can wear my hair a lot shorter now. Lots of people who are thinning have asked me where I got it done and want to do the same.
'Before I was always conscious of how my hair looked and it used to take me a lot longer to get ready.'
Bridge's wife Frankie - the former Saturdays singer turned TV presenter and podcaster - was fully supportive of his decision.
BBC Sport pundit shows off shock new look with fans convinced he has had hair transplant
'So many men are getting help with their hair and it is really no big deal,' he said.
'I told Frankie what I was doing and she was really supportive. She said 'go for it' and supports anything that makes me feel better about myself.'
Bridge, who had the procedure at DHI Global Clinic in central London, insistent that he had the surgery in the UK.
He said: 'I had the surgery in the morning and was back home later that day. I was so chilled during the surgery that I fell asleep.
'There was no swelling and I chilled for a couple of days at home while I recovered.
'After that, I was back to my normal routine of doing media work and looking after the family.
I wish I had got it done earlier in my hair loss because I feel so much better about myself
Wayne Bridge
'I could see the benefits straight away, though it was not obvious to anyone who didn't know me that I had had a hair transplant.
'It takes up to a year for all the new hair to fully grow back but, after nine months, my hair is as good as new and it will continue to grow back for a further three months and look even better. I wish I had got it done earlier in my hair loss because I feel so much better about myself.
'Women benefit from cosmetic procedures all the time. The nice thing about footballers such as Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand going public about their procedures is that men can see it is no big deal and they can do simple things to benefit their appearance too.'
Since retiring in 2014, he has starred on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and he won the first series of Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins six years ago after trekking through a glacier in Chile.
Bridge, who now hosts The Dressing Room podcast with ex-England stars Joe Cole and Carlton Cole, said he chose DHI Global for his hair transplant after it was recommended by a celebrity friend.
He said: 'I bumped into him at a wedding and his hair looked great. He explained that he had gone to DHI because the treatment is so discreet and no one knows you have had it done until all the hair has grown back.

'I wanted the very best treatment in the world with the shortest down-time and that was always going to be DHI.
'You read about patients going abroad for hair transplants but that was never going to be an option for me.
'The best clinics in the world are here and it is reassuring to know that the team is in central London for the aftercare. Who wants to jump on a flight to check on their hair if something goes wrong?'
With DHI no holes are made for the implanting of the new hairs - instead they are directly implanted.
All DHI procedures are performed by doctors, who are trained and certified by London Hair Restoration Academy, the first Academy for hair transplants.
A DHI Global spokesperson said: 'We increased the density in Wayne's hair on his hairline and the top of his scalp. We have filled in the gaps to make him look younger and improve his body confidence.
'We treat a lot of high profile patients such as Wayne who love to stay fit and look good. We are delighted that he is so happy with the results.'
As well as Bridge, DHI also worked with former England cricketer Phil Tufnell.

Liverpool medical booked as Arne Slot expected to sanction £40m transfer exit

Liverpool have made a quick start in the transfer window and signed Florian Wirtz in a record deal to continue their summer of spending with more expected in the coming weeks Liverpool have finally confirmed the arrival of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, but the summer transfer window is far from over for the Reds. The Germany international has arrived in a £116million deal but the Merseyside club's spending does not look to be over. Already Arne Slot is set to have new players in Jeremie Frimpong and Giorgi Mamardashvili at his disposal in addition to Wirtz, having only seen Federico Chiesa arrive ahead of his first season. The first weeks of the transfer window have also seen departures in the shape of Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford and Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid, while Vitezslav Jaros joined Ajax on loan. ‌ Liverpool's attention is now set to turn to Milos Kerkez after a deal was agreed with Bournemouth for the defender. Could that spell the end of Andy Robertson's time at Anfield as he mulls a move to Atletico Madrid? ‌ The Scotland international is not the only star with an uncertain future. Darwin Nunez is expected to leave as the Reds eye a new striker and Jarell Quansah could soon end up at Leverkusen in a £35m deal. Mirror Football takes a look at the latest transfer news and rumours around Anfield. Wirtz's reveals Slot impact If anyone was in doubt over Arne Slot's impact at Liverpool, it is greater than simply instructions on the pitch. Florian Wirtz has revealed the Dutchman played a key role in persuading him that Anfield was the correct destination for his future. 'The conversations were always really good,' said Wirtz. 'I can remember the first time [we met] he already showed me some scenes and how he wants to play, how I could fit in the team. 'He was just telling me I'm a player he really wants to have in his team and I can bring the team a step forward, and I could just imagine it would be good to be in the team and to make it better. I have to make my performances every week but I'm here for this.' ‌ Milos Kerkez medical Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez is set to begin his Liverpool medical on Tuesday, after the Reds agreed a £40m deal with the Cherries. The full-back, 21, has long been linked with making the move to join his international team-mate Dominik Szoboszlai, and now it looks set to happen. Weeks of negotiating have seen Liverpool get another deal over the line and personal terms are already agreed for the Hungary international. It marks the second time Richard Hughes has brokered a deal for Kerkez after he helped seal the deal when Bournemouth signed him from AZ for around £15.5m. Elliott exit Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott is set to be subject of a £40m bid from Brighton this summer, per reports. The ex-Fulham star has admitted his future is uncertain as he looks for more playing time, and is currently representing England in the European under-21 Championships. ‌ Elliott is said to be the Seagulls' key summer target, and James Milner's presence on the south coast could yet prove persuasive. It has been claimed Elliott turned down a move to Nottingham Forest due to concerns over the club's style of play but the 22-year-old has no such reservations about Brighton. Slot is reported to be unlikely to stand in Elliott's way over a move and is said to be undecided on the midfielder who made 45 appearances last term but struggled to earn starts. Gareth Bale consortium in bid to buy Cardiff

Gareth Bale is part of a United States investment group wanting to buy League One club Cardiff, according to reports. The 35-year-old former Real Madrid and Wales forward was understood to be part of a consortium that had conversations regarding a takeover of Plymouth earlier this week, along with several other clubs, but it appears they have now turned their attention to south Wales. The Athletic reports that the consortium sent current Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan a letter of intent last month, which included financial figures, but it was rejected. Bale is seeking to be the latest big sporting name to be associated with an EFL club. His former Real team-mate Luka Modric became an investor in and co-owner of Championship side Swansea in April, while ex-NFL quarterback Tom Brady has a minority stake in Birmingham. Cardiff declined to comment on Friday night. Bale retired from football in January 2023 at the age of 33. He won five Champions League titles with Real and is the men's all-time record goalscorer for Wales with 41 in 111 caps. He was linked with an emotional move to Cardiff, his hometown club, after leaving Madrid in 2022 but instead joined MLS side LAFC. Bale featured for Wales at the 2022 World Cup – their first appearance at the global finals since 1958 – and at the Euros in 2016 and 2020. Cardiff were relegated to League One last season and appointed Brian Barry-Murphy as their new manager this week.
