Larry Emdur responds to rumours he is reprising iconic game show The Price Is Right
He's the Gold Logie winner who won legions of fans twenty years ago as the host of The Price is Right.
And now there's speculation that The Morning Show's Larry Emdur could be back for a reboot of the beloved game show.
According to New Idea magazine, a revival may be on the cards for the iconic prime time series.
'There's so much love for nostalgia right now, and there's no doubt Aussie audiences would love a revived version of The Price is Right,' a source told the magazine earlier this week.
'It would need to be done properly and not like the cheaper version that was done a few years ago.'

Larry, 60, has since responded to the rumours with a typically cheeky post on social media.
'I'm not sure my old back and old hips could handle it,' he shared to his Instagram on Thursday.
'They're still really sore from that 130kg truck driver who dry-humped me on the studio floor after he won a terracotta birdbath,' he joked.
Larry included a story from this week's edition of New Idea in his post that reported network executives are 'buzzing' over bringing the long-running show back on air.
'Viewers will flock to any show Larry's hosting – and if he brought back The Price is Right, they'd go bonkers for it,' a TV insider told the publication.
Larry rose to fame on The Price is Right, which he hosted between 1993 and 1998, when the game show aired on Nine.
He was back at the helm for a Nine revival of the show between 2003 and 2005.
Channel Seven attempted a reboot with Larry in 2012, but cancelled it in January 2013, before a second series could be filmed.
According to the source, networks are currently keen on game shows, following the ratings success of Tipping Point and The Floor.

Larry is currently hosting tea-time favourite The Chase Australia, which has been rating highly for Seven over the past three years.
The source said that it was Larry's own post to his Instagram last month about The Price is Right that triggered network interest in a reboot.
'How good was The Price is Right?' Larry posted, and asked followers to name their favourite 'bit' of the show as well as their favourite game.
The post, which dropped on May 20, has since received 2,933 likes from followers, while fans were quick to share their memories in the comments.
Larry made headlines last August after securing his first-ever Logie Award when he took home a Silver and secured the Gold at the 2024 ceremony at The Star Casino in Sydney.
The TV star has been a recognisable face on Aussie screens since the age of 19, but has never before secured a win at the prestigious awards ceremony.

It would mark the first time the Aussie rock band has returned to their home turf since the 2015 Rock or Bust tour. The Power Up Tour is in support of the band's seventeenth studio album Power Up, released in 2020. The group kicked-off their global shows in Germany in May 2024 with confirmed legs throughout Europe and North America. AC/DC have yet to confirm a tour in Australia this year. Daily Mail Australia has reached out to the MCG for further comment. AC/DC were last rumoured to be announcing a world stadium tour, with Brian Johnson resuming his position on vocals, in 2020. Broadcaster Eddie McGuire leaked the news on his Triple M Melbourne breakfast show at the time. 'The greatest rock band in the history of Australian music will be reforming and playing in Australia in October/November this year!' he announced. 'My mail is, there will be a new album released by AC/DC in February or March this year, but also that AC/DC will be touring Australia [in] October/November 2020. 'And after a lot of work and a lot of technical research they have been able to get a hearing aid for Brian Johnson, who will be out front, and even Phil Rudd might be back in the group either playing percussion or drums.' Brian's hearing problems forced him to leave the band mid-tour in 2016. He was temporarily replaced by Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose, who served as vocalist for the band's remaining concerts. Doctors had advised the frontman, 77, to either quit performing live or face the possibility of 'total hearing loss'.
