Yield Comparison Table: Investors can quickly see and compare yields across fixed income products and filter them by preferred timeframe.
Customizable Screeners: New filter options help investors find Treasuries, corporate bonds, municipal bonds and brokered CDs that match their criteria with just a few clicks. The screeners can also be saved to use in the future.
Streamlined Trade Ticket: Trade faster and more efficiently with fewer steps and a quick view of yields. Investors can also see the smallest and largest number of bonds they can buy at a specific price. Contextual guides are especially helpful for those new to fixed income.
'Fixed income investments are a key part of a diversified portfolio, helping to balance stock market volatility and providing consistent income through regular interest payments,' said Paul Vienick, Head of Online Investing at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. 'We have built an easy-to-navigate experience for fixed income that will feel familiar to stock investors. But what really sets us apart is that we are offering it both on desktop and on the Chase mobile app.'
The rollout is part of J.P. Morgan's ongoing commitment to make J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing the best online brokerage experience for Chase customers to grow their wealth. 'These new features are just the beginning. We encourage clients to watch this space as we continue to innovate and elevate the investing experience.'

General Mills introduces 'fresh' Blue Buffalo dog food

NEW YORK, June 23 (Reuters) - General Mills (GIS.N), opens new tab is introducing a fresh version of its Blue Buffalo pet food for dogs, aimed at competing with popular brands such as Freshpet (FRPT.O), opens new tab and venture capital-backed The Farmer's Dog. The Minnesota-based packaged food maker is entering the fresh pet food market because it projects that over the next decade it will soar in retail sales to $10 billion, from a little over $3 billion currently, said Liz Mascolo, the segment president of General Mills' North America pet business. Retail sales in U.S. pet food total about $53 billion, Mascolo said. Fresh pet food is marketed as minimally processed products without preservatives that sometimes are fit for human consumption. General Mills expects the fresh version of its Blue Buffalo brand will be in retail stores later this year. "The reason why it's growing and the reason we're interested in it ... is the humanization of the pet food category," Mascolo said. "What I mean by that, is people are increasingly treating pets like other members of family, with birthday parties (for example). "We talk with pet parents, and they're looking for food that looks, smells and feels like real human food," Mascolo said. Mascolo said that dog owners will sometimes combine pricier fresh dog food, stored in the refrigerator or freezer, with cheaper traditional kibble. General Mills, which entered the pet food category in 2018 with its $8 billion acquisition of Blue Buffalo, is also bringing European brand Edgard & Cooper to U.S. PetSmart stores in July. The company, which also makes brands such as Betty Crocker cake mixes and Progresso soups, acquired Edgard & Cooper last year. The high-end pet food company at the time had 100 million euro in sales. In the nine months ended February 23, General Mills' pet business reported net sales rising 1%.

Customer service AI startup Decagon raises $131 million

SAN FRANCISCO, June 23 (Reuters) - Decagon, a startup providing customer service solutions powered by artificial intelligence, said on Monday it had raised $131 million in a funding round that valued it at $1.5 billion. The San Francisco company's Series C round was led by venture capital firms Accel and Andreessen Horowitz, with existing investors A*, Bain Capital Ventures and BOND participating. Avra, Forerunner and Ribbit Capital also took part in the round. The fundraise comes less than a year after a Series B round, when it raised $65 million at a $650 million valuation. The funding establishes Decagon as one of the most highly valued AI startups providing AI customer support solutions. Its competitors include giants like Salesforce (CRM.N), opens new tab and startups like Sierra, helmed by OpenAI board chairman and former Salesforce co-CEO Bret Taylor. In October, Sierra raised $175 million in a funding round giving it a $4.5 billion valuation. Since OpenAI's ChatGPT burst on the scene, investor interest in funding AI technology has gradually shifted from expensive foundation models to applications that generate steady revenue. Decagon serves clients such as Hertz, Duolingo (DUOL.O), opens new tab, Eventbrite (EB.N), opens new tab and Chime (CHYM.O), opens new tab. The company will use its funding to grow the team and sell into more enterprises, its CEO Jesse Zhang told Reuters. Financial services company Chime saw a 60% reduction in contact center costs from using Decagon and a doubling of its net promoter score, a measure of customer satisfaction, Zhang said. "When AI can take action and solve things, customers can get what they want much faster and more consistently," he said. The company provides both text-based AI customer support solutions like chat and email as well as AI voice agents that are capable of end-to-end customer support calls. Decagon's software tools also allow companies to create their own AI customer support solutions, Zhang said.
