Jo Malone's 'fruity' summer perfume now comes in £24 travel size
"Perfect Springtime scent. You definitely get the Nectarine and Peaches notes once it dries down. Even though Jo Malone usually doesn't last long on me, this one does"
I'm a perfume expert and have spent countless hours searching for the best quality products with great value and travel-size bottles are always a good idea. Jo Malone have had 9ml bottles for a long time, which can often be found in their duo sets - but a sleek 10ml design has just been released on Sephora.
Shoppers can get a 10ml bottle of the brand's summery Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne for £24. This sleek round bottle is ideal for trips abroad, nights out, and to be slipped into a clutch bag. The scent was a 2005 release by the brand's founder and namesake.
It opens up with green notes, petitgrain and blackcurrant, before softening to a heart of nectarine and black locust. There's a fruity base of peach, plum and vetiver. It's been compared to Juliette has a Gun's Magnolia Bliss (£100 for 50ml) and Oakcha's The Beekeeper (£28 for 50ml).
Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne has an impressive 277 five-star ratings on Sephora. One shopper said: "Love this scent! It's super light but enough to get you noticed. Great blend of citrus and honey, honestly wish this scent was in a hair perfume because this beats the Gisou original honey hair perfume."
A second wrote: "I love it. If you like fruity, juicy scents this is for you. There is very little flower to the nose. Compare to the English Pear and Pea flower perfume, Peony Blush perfume that I love too, this one is completely unique and different! Feels like a sunny day by the pool and I'm here for it."
A third penned: "Perfect Springtime scent. You definitely get the Nectarine and Peaches notes once it dries down. Even though Jo Malone usually doesn't last long on me, this one does! Love this!"
A fourth added: "This is my favourite by Jo Malone. Unfortunately, the scent disappears soon after applying—before I can even finish getting ready. I've been so disappointed the cologne scent doesn't last especially with the price point of many perfume! If they could make it last, it would be my favourite go-to of all time."
It's worth keeping in mind that the application of perfume can impact how long it lasts. One tip is to spray perfume directly on pulse points, ideally when freshly cleaned and moisturised, and to not pat it down. It's also best to store perfume in a cupboard or drawer away from any radical temperature changes or light.

World No.1 Humphries quickly pinged the pong-row flinger a cheeky response. BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK The 2024 Ally Pally king said: "Great farts mate!! I mean 'Darts'." However, fans managed to be even less subtle than Humphries with their rip-ostes. James Wade names two darts stars who should NOT have been invited into Premier League darts One wrote: "You have blown all your opponents away, the smell of success is strong when your on stage." Another mused: "Must be great to let off a bit if steam, although Peter Wright might not agree." The farting furore exploded live on TV during Players Championship 17 when Wade let rip during a 6-5 victory over Wright. Snakebite might be better suited to dealing with stings than stinks - but he initially laughed it off. Referee Owen Binks reminded them "this is a streamed match, guys". Wade then suggested his Scottish opponent 'Give it a second' before he returned to the oche. But Snakebite appeared to believe that time period was a clear under-estimate. Wade went on to not just nick that match but get better as the week wore on - at darts, that is - peaking with the PC19 crown. Yet incredibly it's the second time the Surrey star has been caught in a storm of his own brewing. That blast from the past was at the Players Championship last September when he blamed the noise on velcro from his new trainers.

Dua Lipa 'blown away' as she becomes emotional during sold-out Wembley show
EXCLUSIVE: Dua Lipa was overcome with emotion as she took to the stage for her first sold-out concert at Wembley Stadium on Friday, admitting it had always been her dream Dua Lipa was overcome with emotion as she fulfilled her ultimate dream. The global mega-star has had a fast rise to fame since she first emerged in the music industry, and she's showing no signs of slowing down. On Friday, she headlined Wembley Stadium for the first time on the first of two nights at the home of English football, before moving on to Anfield in Liverpool. But the British and Albanian star couldn't believe what was happening as she addressed the sold-out crowd who'd flocked to north-west London to see her perform. Fans had been camping out at the stadium since Thursday, hoping to get to the very front row to see their idol deliver her biggest hits. Addressing the crowd, Dua said: "It means the absolute world to me that you're here tonight. It feels really special to be here today." The Levitating songstress continued: "It's been ten years since our first ever London show, which happened to be about 350 people, and I dreamt of a night like this that I get to be in front of 70,000 people. I'm so, so blown away." Dua, who joins a small club of female solo artists to headline the stadium, reflected on her career, admitting she believes one song changed her life, after she was signed to her management and record label. That song was Hotter Than Hell, which was fitting as the UK enjoyed its hottest day of the year. But Dua made sure to pull out all the stops for her first night at the iconic venue with a special guest appearance from Jamiroquai. Dua and Jamiroquai performed an incredible duet of the 1996 hit, Virtual Insanity, for her Radical Optimism tour. Vocalist Jay Kay was rocking a classic black hat with a purple trim and a white fringe jacket for the surprise performance, along with purple trousers. Fans were over the moon with the shock guest and rushed to social media to share their excitement, with one user revealing they "wish" they were at the concert in London to witness the duet. The Londoner joins Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Adele, P!NK and Rihanna as one of the few women to have headlined the stadium. She performed her anthems, including Training Season, One Kiss, Levitating, Physical, Electricity, New Rules, Be the One, Don't Start Now and Houdini. Dua was just 17 when she was first discovered by her long-term manager, Ben Mawson, who said the singer has "it all." Speaking to Music Week in 2020, he revealed: "Dua told me she aspired to be Madonna when I met her, when she was 17, and there was something about the way she said it that made me believe her! "It was about her personality, her charisma, her competitiveness and her drive, and that came across. Dua's got it all, so she's unlimited potential." The singer rose to fame with her 2016 hit Be The One followed by her 2017 break-up anthem, New Rules. Since then, she has won several Brit Awards and three Grammys and headlined Glastonbury Festival last year shortly after the release of her third studio album Radical Optimism, which hit number one on the UK albums chart. Her 2020 Future Nostalgia album also reached number one, while her debut self-titled album, Dua Lipa, reached number three. She is the youngest person to feature on this year's Sunday Times 40 Under 40 Rich List, making her one of the wealthiest musicians in the UK. The singer was recently named the most played artist across radio, TV and public places in the UK for a second time by music licensing company Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL).

School's out forever for dedicated languages teacher at St Aidan's High in Wishaw
Fiona McGrogan has spent the last 36 years educating young people in Lanarkshire A dedicated teacher will bid a final farewell to her high school years in Wishaw as the bell rings for the summer holidays. Fiona McGrogan has been teaching for 36 years but will retire and now hopes to get around to reading through her 'many books'. The principal teacher of languages at St Aidan's High will walk through the school gates in Waverley Drive for the last time as a teacher this week after 36 years of teaching. Fiona's been working at the school since 1993. 'I always liked working with young people and I loved my subjects, so it was a natural fit," Fiona said. 'Teaching has been my only permanent job. I did enjoy waitressing though. 'I have mainly been an English teacher, but my degree is in English and German, and I started out teaching German. It's funny as I have come full circle and have ended up managing Modern Languages as faculty head since 2020.' At the beginning of her career new teachers were to do a stint in temporary posts before landing a permanent position at a school. Fiona taught all over Lanarkshire but when she first walked in the door at St Aidan's in 1993 she knew she had found a home and was going to love the place. She remained there for over three decades and has been a Principal Teacher since 1999. Fiona admits she will miss discussing literature with students and watching how their ideas develop and that the education is a two-way street. 'I learn something new from them every time,' Fiona revealed. 'And kids never fail to surprise me and make me laugh.' So, what will the long-standing teacher do with her newly found free time after retiring? 'I love reading, theatre, and catching up with friends,' Fiona added. 'I'm looking forward to working my way through my many books. 'I want to go to the theatre a lot, and do more walking and travelling. Who knows, I might even develop new talents!'
