ITV Love Island star unrecognisable since kids TV show role
ITV Love Island star unrecognisable since kids TV show role Iain Stirling has been the voice over for Love Island since 2015 and fans of the hit ITV2 show have been left stunned to see him in a throwback photo to his first ever TV role Iain has been the voiceover on Love Island since 2015 (Image: BBC ) A Love Island star is barely recognisable in a photograph from an overlooked role on a once-popular children's television programme. Love Island has made a comeback this month, already causing a stir with some brutal new twists and surprises wreaking havoc in the villa. From fresh bombshells to secrets being unveiled, tensions are escalating. Despite new challenges and new surprises, one thing has stayed consistent since the series returned in 2015, Iain Stirling. The sarcastic Scottish comedian is now for his witty voiceover of the reality show, however some may know him for different reasons. Iain Stirling was once the face of a CBBC programme, and in fact it was his first gig alongside his canine co-star Hacker T Dog. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter . The Love Island star hosted Scoop on CBBC, providing links between shows around 16 years ago. He left CBBC in 2013, only to return for a special 30th-anniversary celebration two years later. He went on to present programmes like The Dog Ate My Homework and Love Island on ITV2. He is also recognised as a comedian and a writer. However, as the latest series of Love Island graces our screens, a major throwback photo reveals the star looking vastly different from his current appearance. In a photo shared last year, Stirling sports longer hair than he does today and looks significantly younger as he poses next to fan favourite Hacker T Dog and Phil Fletcher who is the puppeteer behind the character. Article continues below Iain said: "The wonderful @philfletcherofficial just sent me a load of these absolute CLASSICS! Who remembers the classic CBBC days?" Content cannot be displayed without consent Fans were eager to join in the conversation, with some only now realising it is the popular voiceover artist. They said: "How have I just realised this is you!??" Another joked: "Omg I can't believe that's you and I didn't put it together! You said you were on a show but I had no idea you were my little teen crush! Awkward" One person said: "This was my whole childhood mate" Another chimed in: "Ngl. I actually think I remember watching you on ur first day and I'm now in college. That makes me feel super old!". Article continues below Someone else simply wrote: "Memories!". Now, as we know Iain works on Love Island and Love Island USA, but he also co-hosts the podcast Murder They Wrote with his wife and presenter, Laura Whitmore. The pair married in 2020 and they have a 4-year-old daughter together.

Love Island fans' bizarre conspiracy theory Yasmin is ‘AI bot' after series of weird moments in villa
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LOVE Island fans are convinced Yasmin Pettet is an AI bot in a bizarre conspiracy theory - following a series of weird moments in the villa. The claim gained traction on social media following last night's episode, when Yasmin, 24, appeared unusually rigid during the recoupling. Clips of Yasmin sitting bolt upright in her bikini during Wednesday night's installment have added fuel to the theory, with fans describing her as 'glitching' and 'robotic'. One TikTok user posted a video of Yasmin with the caption: 'She genuinely scares me,' while another joked, 'Is Yasmin AI?' on X, formerly Twitter. A third viewer wrote: 'I saw someone say Yasmin is AI and bro she is literally not real.' Someone else joked: "Yasmin is the certified first Love island AI icon," as a fifth chimed in with: "is yasmin love island's first ai contestant?" One more asked: "Are we sure Yasmin is'nt AI robot?" Show fans previously shared their convinction the commercial banking executive had been planted by producers, ranting, "she CANNOT be real!" Due to her outrageous antics, fans are convinced Yasmin is a Love Island "mole" and has been put in the villa by producers to stir things up. So far she has asked Dejon for a threesome, propositioned Harry, and talked no stop about sex - despite saying she had only slept with two men. Taking to X, one wrote: "I am convinced Yasmin is a producer plant and was told to f**k s**t up. She cannot me real!" Love Island USA guest Megan Thee Stallion shows 'insane' body in thong bikini & gets lap dance during twerking Another added: "Yasmin has to be a producer plant because there is no way." Someone else fumed: "You cannot convince me she isn't some sort of producer plant put in to stir the pot this season." 'REAL VILLA VILLIAN' Fans have also branded Yasmin "the real villain" of the villa as they feel she is doing all she can to split up Meg and Dejon. Yasmin has come under fire over her flirty interactions with Dejon, and also asking him for a "threesome". Taking to X, one fan vented: "Yasmin is a villain she just doesn't give a f**k." Another added: "Yasmin is actually a beg AND a weirdo omg what a villain." Someone else fumed: "They hating Malisha when the real villain is Yasmin." Love Island star turns on girl he's coupled up with after she snogs another Islander It all kicked off after Yasmin turned to Dejon on Tuesday night's episode, and asked: 'I have a question for you, it's a bit rogue, would you have a threesome with me and Toni?' Dejon laughed - but was soon saved from answering as Meg called out: 'Come here please!" He joked: "You called me at a good time! Oh my god! We'll continue that question." However, the flirty tone continued as she followed up with: 'It was in my head, I had to say it. Intrusive thoughts, intrusive thoughts." Yasmin tried to defend the comment as innocent fun, insisting: 'It was just flirty banter. I think all of us talk really openly about sex and what we want to experience.' But Meg wasn't having it, firing back: 'It just seems to be you three all the time.' In the same episode, bombshell Yasmin revealed to some of the Islanders, including Harry and Dejon, that a man had never given her an orgasm before - which came amid another very shocking claim. The Londoner also confessed that she has only ever slept with two men before, despite speaking about sex frequently with guys in the villa. Then, in Wednesday night's instalment, Yasmin spoke to Harry on the terrace when things got very flirty. She spoke about being "bent over" and he said she was "undressing" him with her eyes. 6 It follows a series of weird moments in the villa Credit: Eroteme 6 Fans have described her as 'glitching' and 'robotic' Credit: Eroteme

Another bluntly said: "Ben is gross." Also in the installment, Shakira and Toni's savage comments behind Ben's back were exposed before an explosive row kicked off. Tensions rose as the girls' critical remarks come to light, triggering a heated argument. Shakira said, 'His presence pi**es me off,' as Toni warned her, 'The ick! He likes to throw this word around, maybe you should. Don't make any rash decisions.' During a Firepit game, Look Who's Talking, Islanders read out quotes and try to guess who said them. Shakira's comment about Ben, 'I don't know if the conversation is stimulating for my brain, I'm quite a smart girl," was confirmed by the group. When confronted, Shakira wanted to discuss it with Ben, who replied, 'Well, it's an open discussion,' but disagreed with her explanation. Ben's quote about Shakira also came up. He had said: 'I don't know where she's at, I don't know if she's a respectful girl, I feel like she's a very flirty girl that didn't know her boundaries.' Love Island USA fans claim couple 'had sex in communal room' in NSFW scene The prompted Shakira to tell him to 'pipe down'. Meanwhile, Toni admitted to saying about Dejon, 'I think it goes back to the fact that we see a different side of you when she's not breathing down your neck,' and stands by the comment.
