The last confirmed witness sighting of Cole was around 8.45pm on Wednesday, 7 May, on Glasgow Road, at the junction with Cumbernauld Road, in Longcroft.
He was last seen by his family on May 2 or 3 and CCTV footage showed him trying to gain access to his father's house at around 6am on May 4.
Cole was reported missing to police on May 9, prompting a major search operation that included helicopters, drones, and specialist teams.
Searches are set to continue on Sunday morning and next Wednesday evening.
Cops have spoken with nearly 400 residents during their door-to-door enquiries and reviewed more than 2000 hours of CCTV footage.
The force is urging anyone with any information on Cole's whereabouts to come forward.
A dedicated information portal was set up for the public to do so.
Since then, numerous potential sightings, possible lines of enquiry, footage and images have been submitted to the investigating team.
Falkirk Area Commander, Chief Inspector Alex Hatrick, said: "Our priority remains tracing Cole and getting answers for his family on his whereabouts.
"We have a dedicated team, including specialist officers and national resources, following all lines of enquiry.

"Specialist search teams as well as the air support and dive and marine units have been searching Longcroft and the surrounding area.
"I would like to thank the public for the support they've shown for this investigation and all the information provided to police. It shows the community is as committed to finding Cole as we are."
Chief Inspector Alex Hatrick added: 'Officers will be revisiting the Glasgow Road and Cumbernauld Road areas around the same time as the last sightings to ensure we've spoken to as many people as possible who may have information which could help.
'I continue to urge anyone with information on Cole's movements or whereabouts to come forward. No matter how significant you believe that information is, it could prove vital.'
Cole is described as around 5ft 10ins, of medium build with brown short hair and was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket and jogging bottoms.

Banning strangling in porn will help tackle violence against women, says Scots MP

EXCLUSIVE: Joani Reid said online videos are "influencing real-world behaviour" and hailed the UK Government's decision as "a step in the right direction." Banning strangling in pornography will help tackle violence against women, a Scots MP has said. Joani Reid said online videos are "influencing real-world behaviour" and hailed the UK Government's decision as "a step in the right direction." ‌ Last week the Labour Government announced it would outlaw "the depiction of strangulation in pornography" as part of its Crime and Policing Bill. ‌ East Kilbride and Strathaven MP Reid said the ban would "stop the normalisation of violence through pornography." violence against women should never be entertainment. "We now have clear evidence that violent and degrading pornography is influencing real-world behaviour. "Non-fatal strangulation is a serious and dangerous offence yet, until now, online platforms have been free to promote and profit from its depiction as a form of sexual gratification. That's indefensible. "This isn't about being prudish or anti-sex. It's about protecting women and girls from harm and stopping the normalisation of violence through pornography. For too long online platforms have operated without scrutiny, spreading extreme content with no accountability. "If we are serious about tackling violence against women we can't ignore the role the online world plays in shaping attitudes and behaviour. The decision is a big step in the right direction but there's much more to do.' ‌ It is already a criminal offence to possess porn depicting life-threatening acts, such as graphic strangulation. But the Government will tighten up the law to now criminalise the depiction of strangulation completely. A ban had been campaigned for by group of Labour MPs who had backed an amendment to the Crime and Policing bill. These included seven Scots MPs: Reid, Katrina Murray, Tracy Gilbert, Patricia Ferguson, Johanna Baxter, Kirsteen Sullivan and Richard Baker. ‌ The UK Government announcement follows the Independent Porn Review, which was conducted by Tory peer Gabby Bertin. The review found that pornography has effectively established strangulation during sex as a 'sexual norm'. ‌ It also found that pornography has helped cause a belief that strangling a partner during sex is 'safe' because it is believed to be non-fatal. This is despite overwhelming evidence that is is believed there is no safe way to strangle a person. UK Minister for Victims and tackling Violence Against Women and Girls Alex Davies-Jones said: "Depicting strangulation during sex is not only dangerous, but also degrading, with real life consequences for women. "Cracking down on the appalling rise of strangulation pornography will protect women and send a clear signal to men and boys that misogyny will not be tolerated." This pledge by the Labour Government is part of its vow to halve violence against women and girls during its time in office.

Almost 500 Police Scotland officers and staff currently on long-term sick leave

The figures released under Freedom of Information come at a time of increasing violence towards officers. Almost 500 police officers and civilian support staff are currently on long-term sick leave, according to a new report. The figures released under Freedom of Information come at a time of increasing violence towards officers and claims of plummeting morale and mounting workloads leading to stress and other mental health problems. ‌ The Police Scotland report shows 340 cops and 143 office workers on long-term sick. Three cops have been off for more than three years. A further 16 have been absent for between two and three years and 48 absent for between one year and two years. ‌ The largest number – 151 cops and 54 civilian staff – have been off sick for between four months and a year. David Kennedy, general secretary of the Scottish Police Federation, representing the rank-and-file, said members are at breaking point. 'We have been warning about this for a while. The numbers going off sick are only going to get worse. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. 'The police service has got to do more to get them back to work. There's also no investment from the Scottish Government – they are not interested.' Kennedy added: 'People are tired of their conditions. They are done in. They have had enough. Assaults are going through the roof.' ‌ Last June, Police Scotland numbers dropped to 16,207, the lowest since records began in 2007. In 2023-24, 12,141 officers took sick leave – about 75 per cent of the force strength. Earlier this month it was revealed police are being assaulted on an almost hourly basis, with 7159 attacks last year – 425 more than in 2023. Scottish Liberal Democrat justice spokesperson Liam McArthur added: 'The pressure-cooker conditions facing police officers are pushing too many to the brink. It's a vicious cycle because it stretches the officers who remain dangerously thin, making them more likely to leave as well.' Police Scotland said: 'We have a range of mechanisms in place to support our employees who are absent from work.' The Scottish Government said: 'Our continued investment has enabled Police Scotland to take on more recruits in the last financial year than at any time since 2013.'
