Illegal kitchen cooks up trouble for RWA
Gurgaon: The district town planner (enforcement) has ordered the RWA and developer of Vipul Belmonte in Sector 53 to remove encroachments near the community centre. A cloud kitchen operating in an open space violates the sanctioned layout plan.
The town planner has asked to clear the land within seven days. The directive was issued under Section 10(2) of the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975.
According to an official order issued on Monday, the RWA and the developer were found guilty of unauthorised construction and commercial use of open space adjacent to the community centre, which violated the approved building plan and contravened provisions of Section 3B of the Act.
This came to light after a show-cause notice was issued by the enforcement wing last month and both parties were asked to present their case. The authority found the RWA's response unsatisfactory.
Furthermore, no building plan, or other permissions from the authority were submitted.
