Saudi Arabia joins Iraq in opposing US nuclear strikes on Iran
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – In response to US airstrikes on nuclear facilities in its massive neighbor Iran, Saudi Arabia voiced 'great concern' on Sunday.
'The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is following with great concern the developments in the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran, represented by the targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States of America,' the Saudi foreign ministry stated in a posting to X.
Earlier, Baghdad has already reaffirmed its commitment to sovereignty and diplomacy by openly denouncing the strikes at Iran's nuclear sites.
Following President Trump's command, US forces launched synchronized assaults on three Iranian nuclear sites: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, in an effort to eliminate Iran's uranium enrichment capacity.

Iran: 50+ arrests accused of drone espionage
Shafaq News/ On Sunday, Iranian police arrested 53 individuals accused of using drones to film public and strategic sites in the southern province of Fars, according to Tasnim news agency. Yousef Malekzadeh, deputy police chief of the province, indicated the arrests were part of an effort to identify individuals suspected of collaborating with Israel or engaging in activities aimed at influencing public perception and conducting intelligence operations within the country. Authorities reported that those detained were in possession of small drones and related spare parts. Many of the seized devices—16 in total—were equipped with various operational features. The group is also accused of filming sensitive locations and transmitting footage to opposition media outlets based abroad.
