View the RAS scores for the Broncos' draft class
Kent Lee Platte created a metric called "Relative Athletic Scores" (RAS) that measures how prospects stack up against other players at their position based on combined athletic categories like height, weight, 40-yard dash times and more. The scores are graded on a one (worst) to ten (best) scale and weighed against results of current and previous draft classes.
This year, five of the Denver Broncos' draft picks posted a qualifying RAS score, with defensive lineman Saiv'ion Jones (6-5, 280 pounds) leading the way with a 9.20 score. Up next behind him is tight end Caleb Lohner (6-7, 256 pounds) at 8.83.
The three other players with qualifying grades are cornerback Jahdae Barron (5-11, 194 pounds) at 8.63, running back RJ Harvey (5-8, 205 pounds) at 8.49 and wide receiver Pat Bryant (6-2, 204 pounds) at 7.05.
Edge defender Que Robinson (6-4, 243 pounds) and punter Jeremy Crawshaw (6-4, 198 pounds) did not have enough publicly available testing results to qualify for a score.
Here's a look at each player's RAS score:
Round 1: CB Jahdae Barron (RAS: 8.63)
Round 2: RB RJ Harvey (RAS: 8.49)
Round 3: WR Pat Bryant (RAS: 7.05)
Round 3: DE Sai'vion Jones (RAS: 9.20)
Round 4: OLB Que Robinson (RAS: N/A)
Round 6: P Jeremy Crawshaw (RAS: N/A)
Round 7: TE Caleb Lohner (RAS: 8.83)
These players are set to report for the start of rookie minicamp next week, followed by organized team activities later in May (view the full offseason schedule).

MLB has a new issue with its baseballs (report)
There's a new inconsistency with MLB's baseballs. According to The Athletic, there has been more drag on the ball this season and fly balls are averaging 4 feet less than usual. Subsequently, home runs are at an eight-year low in full-time MLB ballparks. Advertisement While the league acknowledged the discrepancy, they said nothing intentional has changed with the Rawlings baseballs. 'For the last several seasons, MLB has made drag information available to the public online, which is updated daily during the season,' MLB spokesperson Glen Caplin told The Athletic in a statement. 'We are aware of an increase in average drag this season and have provided information to the Major League Baseball Players Association on this issue as our experts continue to study any potential causes beyond normal variability in a product made by hand with natural materials. There has been no change to the manufacturing, storage or handling of baseballs this year, and all baseballs remain within specifications.' In closed-door meetings, commissioner Rob Manfred has reportedly acknowledged the baseballs are behaving differently. It's something the MLBPA is keeping tabs on, too. 'The Players Association has been monitoring baseball behavior throughout the season, and recently reached out to the commissioner's office to review available data and request additional information on a range of baseball measures,' Kevin Slowey, MLBPA's managing director of player services, told The Athletic. Broncos expected to host fewer fans at training camp during construction
The Denver Broncos are busy building a new world-class facility with hopes of having it completed in 2026. The construction won't interrupt the team's football activities, but it will impact fans this summer. The Broncos had a training camp capacity limit of 3,000 fans last year, but that number will likely be lower in 2025. The team is considering temporary bleachers for this summer's practices with a capacity set below 1,000 fans. Advertisement 'We're coming up with a good plan," team owner and CEO Greg Penner said in March. "We want to be in our facility for training camp, given [that] it's a great place. Teams actually like coming to us for joint practices. It's not going to be perfect this year. We'll probably come up with something where we could accommodate 800-900 fans in some temporary bleachers. We'll have it open. "I don't know the exact number, but we'll have a number of practices that are open to fans, and we'll accommodate them. We really want to make that happen. Again, the intent is for this to only be one training camp where it really affects us.' Last year, Denver announced its training camp schedule in late June with practices beginning in late July and running through mid-August. The team will likely follow a similar timeline this year, but that is yet to be confirmed. Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans. When will the Broncos announce their training camp schedule?
After wrapping up organized team activities, the Denver Broncos are now on a summer break leading up to training camp. The team's practice sessions are expected to begin in late July, but the schedule has not been announced yet. So, when can we expect Denver to announce its training camp schedule? The Broncos had a modified training camp schedule in 2020 due to COVID-19, and the team's camp schedule wasn't announced until July 1 in 2021. Since then, the schedule has been announced in mid-to-late June. Advertisement Over the last three years, Denver has announced its training camp schedule on June 17 (2022), June 27 (2023) and June 26 (2024). If the team follows the trend of the last two years (the Sean Payton era), we can expect their schedule to be announced next week. They announced it on Tuesday (2023) and Wednesday (2024) over the last two years, so June 24 (Tuesday) and June 25 (Wednesday) are dates to watch next week. Yes, we've reached the point of the offseason where we guess the release date for a practice schedule. The Broncos are expected to have practices free for fans to attend once again this summer, but capacity will be limited due to construction at the team's facility. Fans will likely have to download free tickets on a first-come, first-served basis to attend practices on specific dates. Full details are expected to be released after the schedule is announced. Stay tuned. Fans can expect a schedule soon. Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans.
