US Man Found Guilty Of Killing And Dismembering Teen College Student On First Date
Inside the man's basement, authorities uncovered what they described as a 'sex dungeon,' complete with a sling, restraints, and other paraphernalia.
A 34-year-old man in Milwaukee, US, has been found guilty of killing and dismembering a 19-year-old college student on their first date.
According to the New York Post, Maxwell Anderson killed Sade Carleena Robinson in April 2024 after the two met for dinner.
The woman's remains were discovered in multiple locations along the Lake Michigan shoreline, days after she failed to show up for work.
According to prosecutors, the two had gone out for dinner and drinks before heading back to the man's apartment. When the woman didn't return home or report to her job the next day, she was reported missing.
Hours later, a severed leg—later identified through DNA testing—was found on the lakefront.
Investigators soon discovered a disturbing trail of evidence, including dismembered body parts scattered across the area, surveillance footage placing the woman at the suspect's home, and photos on the man's phone depicting parts of her body.
Inside the man's basement, authorities uncovered what they described as a 'sex dungeon," complete with a sling, restraints, and other paraphernalia.
Prosecutors also noted that on the night of the killing, the pair had watched an episode of Love, Death & Robots—one centred on a dismembered body washing ashore, eerily mirroring the events that followed.
The jury deliberated for just 45 minutes before finding the man guilty of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, hiding a corpse, and arson.
Prosecutors said he had planned the killing weeks in advance, preparing his home with plastic sheeting and tools.
'Sade will continue to walk with me daily and right beside me," the victim's mother, Sheena Scarbrough, said after the verdict. 'She will forever be remembered as an angel."
The man is scheduled to be sentenced on August 15. He faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Is Pakistan Now Air-Dropping Turkish Weapons In Punjab?
Last Updated: The development follows the deployment of Turkish drones by Pakistan against India during the four-day military confrontation in May A troubling new dimension has seemingly emerged in the cross-border dynamics between India and Pakistan, with some reports suggesting Pakistan is now utilising drones to air-drop Turkish PX5 pistols into Punjab. The development follows the deployment of Turkish drones by Pakistan against India during the four-day military confrontation in May. Officials believe the primary goal behind this illicit arms supply is to destabilise law and order in the Indian state of Punjab by arming local gangsters and terror modules with advanced foreign weaponry, says a report by The Tribune. The alarming trend has been substantiated by multiple recoveries made by Indian security agencies this month alone, the report adds. In three separate operations across Punjab, security forces have seized PX5 pistols manufactured by TISAS in Turkey. In a parallel operation, the Amritsar Rural Police intercepted a consignment in Lopoke village, leading to the arrest of Lovepreet Singh, alias Love, and Balwinder Singh, alias Bobby, with one PX5 (.30 bore) pistol, 6.15 kg of heroin, and Rs 10,000 in suspected narco-funds. Investigations revealed these weapons were allegedly air-dropped by a drone sent by a Pakistan-based handler named Noor. A day later, on June 6, the Tarn Taran police detained Surajpal Singh and Arshdeep Singh from Lakhna village, seizing two PX5 pistols along with four Glock 9mm pistols, a consignment also linked by police to Pakistani handlers. Russian Soldier Ate Comrade's Body For Two Weeks To Survive, Then Died Amid War: Report
Last Updated: An intercepted phone call by Ukraine between two Russian soldiers reportedly revealed the incident. A Russian soldier died after killing a comrade and eating his corpse in an attempt to survive during the wartime crisis, reported the Kyiv Post. The incident came to light after a phone call between two Russian soldiers discussing the cannibalism was allegedly tapped by Ukraine's Main Directorate of Intelligence. According to the New York Post, one of them was heard saying, 'Brelok f***ing ate him, f*** me… nobody went anywhere. Brelok took him out and then ate him for f\*\*\*ing two weeks." 'No f***ing way… Holy shit… F*** my bald skull. Was Brelok really found as a 200?" the second soldier replied. 'Found as a 200" is slang from the Soviet era, meaning a soldier killed in action. 'Yeah, they say he was a 200. He ate his comrade. So yeah… something to think about. I was shocked myself," the caller concluded, according to the outlet. Meanwhile, with the tension between Russia and Ukraine continuing, Russian troops on Saturday captured the small settlement of Zaporizhzhya in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, Russian state news agency TASS reported. The small village of Zaporizhzhya, once home to around 200 residents before the war, lies close to the strategic city of Pokrovsk- a vital transport hub in eastern Ukraine that has witnessed some of the most intense fighting in recent months. On Friday, Russian drones slammed into two Ukrainian cities, killing at least one person in nighttime attacks. Moscow targeted the southern Ukrainian port city of Odesa and the northeastern city of Kharkiv in the overnight assault. The barrage of more than 20 drones injured almost two dozen civilians, including girls aged 17 and 12, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. 'Russia continues its tactics of targeted terror against our people," Zelenskyy said on messaging app Telegram, urging the United States and the European Union to crank up economic pressure on Russia.
