SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA / ACCESS Newswire / April 29, 2025 / AMTSO, the cybersecurity industry's testing standard community, today announced new milestones for its threat intel sharing platform, the Real-Time Threat List (RTTL). With contributions now averaging over 75,000 new samples per month, the platform has firmly established itself as a cornerstone of the global threat intelligence ecosystem.
'RTTL is a vital resource for the cybersecurity community,' said Alexander Vukcevic, CTO of AMTSO. 'It provides a centralized platform for the submission and sharing of malware samples and threat intelligence. With its robust features, extensive contributor network, and comprehensive sandbox integration, RTTL plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality and objectivity of anti-malware testing methodologies.'
The threat intel sharing platform now processes:
This positions RTTL not just as a data-sharing platform, but as a key threat intelligence hub, often the first to detect emerging cyber threats.
Through strict quality control, including outreach to contributors of low-value samples, RTTL maintains a high integrity threshold. All AMTSO members are encouraged to contribute at least 200 malicious samples per day to gain full access to the feed, including unique CERT and independent researcher submissions. Non-members, such as CERTs, can also contribute without cost, making RTTL an accessible and valuable resource across the cybersecurity landscape.
RTTL's infrastructure includes:
Developed and operated by AMTSO, the organization's Threat Intel Sharing Platform is a collaborative platform connecting security vendors, test labs, certification bodies, CERT organizations, and independent researchers. Its mission is to support the timely and objective sharing of real-world malware data, enabling more accurate and relevant antimalware testing. Testers can access not only vendor-submitted samples but also unique contributions from CERTs and independent researchers - ensuring broad and realistic threat coverage. RTTL also provides a centralized channel for non-member organizations to share threat data with the wider security industry.

Tensec raises $12M to boost growth

This story was originally published on Payments Dive. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily Payments Dive newsletter. Tensec, the Palo Alto, California-based cross-border payments startup, has raised $12 million, the company announced Wednesday. Costanoa Ventures led the funding round, with seven other firms, including Quiet Capital, WillowTree Investments, Cambrian VC and Ignia Partners, also participating in the round, the release said The funding will support the company's efforts to facilitate cross-border payments, real-time payments and transaction banking services for global trading companies and their clients, per the press release. With its latest funding round, the company aims to expand real-time payments and banking services to more small and medium-sized companies, the release said. Tensec says its clients handle $10 billion in annual trade volume. The company anticipates that its pending expansion into Europe and Asia will increase this annual trading volume to $30 billion, per the press release. 'SMBs drive nearly half of global trade but have long been excluded from the financial tools that larger players rely on,' Helcio Nobre, CEO and co-founder of Tensec, said in a statement. 'We're flipping the model by empowering global trading companies to deliver these services directly to their partners—making global commerce faster, cheaper and more accessible.' Tensec, like other cross-border fintechs, says it's 'targeting the massive cross-border payments infrastructure that still runs on 40-year-old SWIFT technology.' Global cross-border payments 'remain largely untouched by innovation,' Tensec said in the release. Meanwhile, other cross-border payment providers have been attracting investors recently. Last month, Palla Financial, another cross-border payments provider, received $14.5 million from Revolution Ventures, Y Combinator, Meta Fund and other investors. That same week, Conduit Technology, the cross-border payments provider using stablecoins, raised $36 million from Dragonfly and Altos Ventures and other investment firms. Alongside fundraising activities among cross-border payment companies, payment veterans are partnering with their international counterparts. In April, PayPal Holdings subsidiary Xoom teamed up with Tencent to provide cross-border payments for Weixin Pay users. As part of the deal, customers in the U.S., Canada and Europe can access the service, but the company said it planned to expand the offering to more markets. QS Energy Receives Initial Order for Multi-Year AOT Technology Deployment

Multi-Billion-Dollar Program With Up To 400 Units Ordered to Modernize Crude Transport Infrastructure TOMBALL, TX / ACCESS Newswire / June 20, 2025 / QS Energy, Inc. (OTCQB:QSEP), a leader in crude oil transport technology, has received a major order to deploy its Applied Oil Technology (AOT) across Southeast Asia and Africa. This marks a breakthrough moment for QS Energy and supports global efforts to modernize and decarbonize crude infrastructure. DELIVERING ON A PROMISE OF INNOVATION AND SUCCESS This initial order of five (5) AOT units launches a broader multi-phase deployment under a government-backed program with VIPS Petroleum. Valued at $25 million with the estimated expected full payment in this quarter, this order kicks off up to a $2 Billion 400-unit framework for South East Asia and Africa. The remaining 395 units will be delivered in milestone-based phases with a 50/25/25 payment structure, ensuring strong cash flow for QS Energy, commencing in Q3 and Q4 2025. AOT's proven results helped open doors with energy ministries and national oil companies. This deal is made possible by VIPS Petroleum, QS Energy's exclusive regional distributor contracted in 2024. Cecil Bond Kyte, CEO of QS Energy, stated: "This order proves our technology's readiness to transform crude transport. Ditchit Detonates Iconic Twitter Bird to Symbolize Launch of Local Marketplace

DOVER, DE / ACCESS Newswire / June 20, 2025 / In a fiery spectacle worthy of Silicon Valley lore, Ditchit - a rising star in the online marketplace space and rival to OfferUp - has made headlines by purchasing and then blowing up the original 560-pound Twitter bird sign once perched atop the company's San Francisco headquarters. The marketing stunt, filmed in the Nevada desert with a 15-person production crew, four Tesla Cybertrucks, and a Hollywood pyrotechnics expert, marked a symbolic farewell to legacy tech monopolies and a bold introduction to Ditchit's mission: to build a local marketplace that puts people before profits. "Elon Musk rebranded Twitter to X to support free expression. At Ditchit, we're doing the same for local marketplaces," said Ditchit spokesman James Deluca. "Today's platforms are filled with ads, fees, and algorithms that prioritize businesses over people. Ditchit is different-free to use, ad-free, and designed to support real communities and real sellers." The 12-foot-tall Twitter logo, affectionately known as "Larry," was purchased at auction for $34,000 earlier this year. While the initial acquisition was driven by nostalgia, the company ultimately decided to transform the artifact into a symbol of disruption. The resulting video, now live on YouTube, shows the massive sign's explosive end outside of Las Vegas, capturing a cinematic moment that's already garnering viral attention. But "Larry's" story doesn't end in smoke. Fragments of the sign have been salvaged and will be sold on the Ditchit app in a sealed-bid auction starting today. 100% of proceeds will go to the Center for American Entrepreneurship, a nonprofit that champions startup innovation and supports the next generation of entrepreneurs. "Many entrepreneurs get their start on local marketplace apps," Deluca added. "We're here to support that journey-not just through our platform, but through action." With the stunt, Ditchit isn't just selling a piece of tech history. It's signaling a new era for digital marketplaces - one powered by transparency, accessibility, and the belief that local economies deserve better. About DitchitDitchit is a community-first local marketplace built for everyday buyers and sellers. Unlike traditional platforms, Ditchit is ad-free, fee-free, and designed to keep transactions simple and fair. Founded in 2024, the Ditchit app is available for iOS and Android.
