Man fights for life after rollover crash on Perth's Kwinana Freeway
A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being cut free from the wreckage of a serious late-night freeway crash.
The 32-year-old was a passenger in a red Jeep Wrangler that veered off
Perth's
Kwinana Freeway and rolled near the intersection with Roe Highway in North Lake, in the city's southern suburbs, about 11.30pm on Sunday.
He was carefully removed from the vehicle and rushed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition on Monday.
The driver, a 22-year-old man, was also taken to RPH with minor injuries.
The crash closed the northbound lanes of the freeway for some time, with diversions in place while incident response teams attended the scene.
Major Crash investigators are examining the circumstances, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

A man has been rushed to hospital with multiple stab wounds after he was discovered bleeding profusely on a quiet Adelaide street. Neighbours in the inner-north suburb of Devon Park were woken by a man yelling for help just after 4am on Monday morning. 'We are in the early stages of this investigation, and I cannot disclose any more at this time. What we do need, however, is help from the public,' he said. The police have encouraged members of the public who may have information to contact Crimestoppers.

A man has broken two bones in his leg after using himself as a human shield to assist police in their chase for an alleged criminal on a busy street in Perth. Francesco Mercuri, 39, was waiting for an Uber when he saw 'about six police officers' running after a man in Northbridge at 4.30am on April 25. 'This guy was running for his life and he was well ahead of about six police officers who were chasing him down,' Mr Mercuri told The West Australian. 'I did what any good citizen would do and I put myself in between them and him and I tried to stop him with my leg, 'I actually don't know if he stomped on it or if it was the impact that knocked me off my feet but it was so painful.'
