A GROOM-to-be has sadly been killed after crashing his e-scooter into an open car door a mere two days before his wedding.
Scott Catton, 54, was rushed to hospital following the horror crash but tragically died at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre on Saturday.

Scott was riding his e-scooter down a street in Top Valley, Nottingham, when he crashed into an opening car door.
He was left fatally injured by the crash and sadly passed away in hospital days later despite the best efforts of medics.
The collision occurred on Thursday 5, just two days before Scott was due to marry his fiancee Debbie.
The couple had planned to leave to Majorca today for their honeymoon.
Instead of celebrating his wedding Scott's distraught family are now fundraising to cover funeral expenses.
He is survived by his young son who is just 13.
Scott's brother in law, Phillip Bates, has set up a GoFundMe which will be used to help cover funeral costs.
The fundraiser will also be used to set up a trust for Scott's son.
Scott's brother in law described him as the "life and soul of the party."
A statement from Scott's devastated family reads: "Today we had to say goodbye to a much loved friend, partner, father, uncle and brother.

"Scott had a traffic accident from which he didn't recover.
"I am trying to raise funds to give him the send off that he deserves any remaining funds will be put into trust for his 13 year old son he leaves behind.
"Funeral arrangements will be posted in due course.
"He was due to marry his partner on Monday 9th June. We are all in deep shock please find it in your hearts to help."

So far nearly £5,900 has been raised towards a target of £7,500.
Scott, a retired EON adviser, was described by family as a keen boxing and cricket fan.
His brother in law, Phillip, 56, said: "It's horrendous. It's never a good time, but this is the worst time though.
"He was the life and soul of the party, everyone loved him.
"He was a cheeky chap. He was massively into his sports and we both played football.
"He played for local teams, and played at veterans level. He loved his cricket and boxing.
"He went to Wembley to watch England and he recently went to watch the Eubank vs Benn fight. He was Nottingham Forest mad too."
Nottingham Police are probing the incident.

Barak Seener, a security and defence expert at Henry Jackson Society and Iran expert, said: "The very fact now that the Iranian regime is volatile, it's targeted, and it's highly vulnerable — that's what actually makes it increasingly dangerous to the West." Iran's terror on UK street By Sayan Bose, Foreign News Reporter Iran-fuelled hit squads on the streets of the UK have been linked to at least 15 threats to kill or kidnap detected by authorities. They are all part of a campaign of intimidation aimed at those who speak out against the hardline regime. The MI5 has accused Tehran of more than a dozen assassination and kidnap plots in Britain against dissidents and media organisations in the past two years. Officials have previously warned that the threat against Iranian critics living in the UK has ramped up drastically after the horror October 7 attacks. The suspects were believed to be proxy agents hired by Tehran. Mr Zeraati works for Iran International, a London-based Persian-speaking channel which has reported on Iran's human rights violations. He said a man approached him and asked for £3 before another man appeared and stabbed him in the leg. The two fled in a car being driven by a third man, leaving Mr Zeraati bleeding in the street. Investigators believed the three culprits were able to flee the country on a flight from Heathrow within hours of the attack. Mr Zeraati, whose organisation has been a vocal critic of Iran, said the attack was a "warning shot" from Tehran. He called on the UK government to declare the IRGC a terrorist group to stop it from spreading its doctrine. He said: "It will also send a clear message to the regime in Iran that enough is enough. "The whole of Western civilisation is in danger because of the threat the IRGC poses." A report by Reporters Without Borders (RSF) found almost half of journalists who covered Iran from the UK reported being physically or verbally harassed in the past five years. Individuals have been sent death threats by text and voice notes, with one message noting that the 'water underneath Westminster Bridge was very deep'. One said they were constantly worried about Iran targeting their children, saying: 'I wake up in the middle of the night. I check my son to see if he's there. I won't let him play in the garden on his own. I have to be there. I'm on alert constantly.' Another reporter told the RSF she had a package, which was designed to look like it contained anthrax, hand-delivered to her apartment block. While female TV journalist was approached on a London bus by a man who told her: 'We will kill you. You are a very bad person.' All of them are understood to have voiced their dissent against Tehran. The IRGC is the principal supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah, both of which are proscribed in the UK. Amid threats of all-out war in the Middle East, officials last year wanted to expedite tightening domestic terror laws to ban IRGC operatives from nurturing Islamist terrorism at home. Current sanctions on Iran do not prevent state-linked organisations spreading jihadi propaganda or carrying out soft-power activities designed to radicalize British citizens. Kasra Aarabi, Director of IRGC Research at United Against Nuclear Iran, said: 'The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is the most antisemitic armed Islamist extremist organisation in the world. 'The government needs to proscribe the IRGC as a matter of urgency. 'The failure to proscribe the IRGC is putting British lives at risk, not least those from the British-Jewish community and British-Iranian diaspora —the two primary targets of IRGC terrorism in the UK.'

Police and emergency services scrambled to the scene after reports of a crash on Stoneferry Road in Hull at 10pm yesterday. A father has been busted after allegedly leaving his 18-month-old son in a hot vehicle for several hours as he got a haircut and drank at a bar. Scott Allen Gardner, 33, is accused of leaving his son, Sebastian, in his truck on the afternoon of June 6 and going drinking inside Hanky Panky's Lounge in Ormond Beach, Florida. Sebastian 'was left helpless in a hot truck for more than 3 hours', according to the Volusia Sheriff's Office in a Facebook post. Temperatures reached 92 degrees Fahrenheit that day and medical examiners estimated that Sebastian's body temperature was 111 degrees Fahrenheit. The same officer arrested Gardner at his mother's home in Ormond Beach on Thursday. The deputies took Gardner, wearing a blue T-shirt and shorts, into custody without incident and escorted him off the backyard. 'Honey, I love you,' Gardner's mother, Jody Thereault, could be heard saying as deputies led him away. Gardner replied, 'Love you guys!' A man who was not in the frame could be heard saying: 'Say goodbye, because you're not going to come back here again.' Gardner was handcuffed with his arms around his back in front of the vehicle, and put in the backseat. The father 'gave multiple false accounts' of what happened, police said. Gardner, of South Daytona, has been charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child as well as child neglect causing great bodily harm, and was given a $100,000 bond.
