Diddy's son Christian Combs meets Kanye West at Chateau Marmont after they both attended his father's trial
Diddy's son Christian 'King' Combs was spotted visiting Kanye West at the iconic Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Kanye, 48, was not pictured but Christian, 27, was seen at the hotel with several friends and appeared in good spirits despite his father's ongoing sex trafficking trial in New York City.
Kanye is known to frequent the Hollywood hotspot and on Tuesday, his custom Maybach was towed away from the establishment.
Kanye has publicly supported Diddy on multiple occasions amid the music mogul's legal woes, and on Friday even attended the trial, where he was greeted by Christian.
The pair shared a hug outside the courthouse before entering together.
West caused chaos at the trial in Manhattan as he surprised crowds outside the courthouse. He wore an all-white denim outfit to the trial.
Kanye had not announced his arrival beforehand, with footage from crowds outside the courthouse showing their surprise as he made his entrance.
He was seen entering the courthouse, and briefly entered an overflow room, but did not enter the courtroom itself where Diddy has stood trial since May 5.
According to the New York Times, Kanye was not on the approved attendee list for the day and was instructed to watch the proceedings via a closed-circuit video feed in an overflow room.
He watched a closed-circuit video feed of the trial with Christian and Diddy's friend Charlucci Finney before departing, The Times adds. He was in the courthouse for approximately a half hour, the publication also reported.
It comes as Diddy faces up to life in prison for drug trafficking and racketeering charges, which he has pleaded not guilty to.
Over the weekend, Christian paid tribute to his dad with a gushing Father's Day tribute.
King shared a post of his father holding him when he was a child. He captioned the shot: 'Happy Fathers Day Pops!!' King said. 'I Love you & miss you !!! We waiting for you at [home].'
Diddy is father to seven children with four women.
His children are: Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, Christian, Chance, 18, twins D'Lila and Jessie, 18, and Love Sean, two.
Diddy faces life in prison on five federal charges: racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
Prosecutors say Diddy used his fame and power in the music industry, along with violence and money, to coerce girlfriends for nearly two decades to submit to sexual performances involving male sex workers, sometimes on a weekly basis.
The sex marathons, called "freak-offs" and "hotel nights," sometimes lasted several days as Diddy watched, directed and sometimes filmed his girlfriends having sex with other men, according to testimony.
Two former girlfriends testified that they relied on drugs supplied by Diddy to stay awake - and numb - throughout the events. They both said they endured the sexual marathons because they were in love with Diddy and it enabled them to spend more time with him.
Defense lawyers say prosecutors are trying to criminalize sexual activity between consenting adults. They say their client was involved in domestic abuse, but had not committed the federal crimes of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
Diddy has remained jailed without bail since his September arrest.
Meanwhile, more photos of damning evidence against Diddy came to light on Thursday, including a collection of high-powered rifles, drugs and hundreds of bottles of baby oil.
The trove of photos were released by federal prosecutors as the trial at Manhattan federal court was stalled due to the Juneteenth holiday.
The items were collected by Homeland Security officials during the March 2024 raid at the disgraced Bad Boy mogul's mansion in the exclusive Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles.
Investigators also found bags containing ketamine, which were also photographed as evidence.
Last week, Homeland Security Investigations agent Andre Lamon testified he saw an overwhelming amount of both baby oil and lubricant when he and other agents searched the mansion.
The pictures show bottles of baby oil neatly lined in display cabinets, while dozen of boxes of the lubricant were also found stacked in the home.
Lamon testified he found 900 bottles of Astroglide and 200 bottles of baby oil at Combs' LA home.
Investigators also found bags containing ketamine, which were also photographed as evidence.

Federal prosecutors allege the drugs were used in marathon 'freak offs' Combs, his ex-girlfriends and male escorts participated in.
Defense Attorney Marc Agnifilo has said the star likes to 'buy in bulk like any other American' and claimed Combs participated in consensual sex.
One of the pictures showed a cache of weapons, including AR-15 style rifles and pump shotguns, next to a bag of tortilla chips.
Combs' has since placed his LA mansion up for sale at $61.5million. The 17,000-square-foot home that boasts 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms is still listed for sale as of Thursday.
Authorities also executed search warrants at Comb's Miami mansion on the exclusive Star Island the same day.

Colorado husband Barry Morphew was pictured in a new mugshot taken by officials in Arizona after he was indicted for the murder of his wife Suzanne. The 43-year-old mother of two vanished from the couple's stunning $1.5 million home in Marysville, 150 miles from Denver, in May 2020. Barry, 53, was charged on Friday. Barry Morphew was arrested in Cave Creek, Arizona on Friday and has been charged with first-degree murder. He was seen disheveled and bleary-eyed in a new mugshot by Maricopa County Sheriff's Office following his arrest. The landscaper's bail was set at $3 million, as investigators held a press conference Friday evening to release further details about the case. An indictment seen by revealed that Suzanne died with the presence of a powerful animal tranquilizer called butorphanol-azaperone-medetomidine (BAM) in her body. The charging document released Friday delivered an apparent smoking gun in theatrical style. 'Ultimately, the prescription records show that when Suzanne Morphew disappeared, only one private citizen living in that entire area of the state had access to BAM: Barry Morphew,' it said. A tranquilizer needle cap, darts and a tranquillizer gun were found in the couple's home during a law enforcement search conducted shortly after Suzanne vanished. Barry used BAM to hunt deer while in the couple's native Indiana. They moved to Colorado from the Hoosier State in 2018 and were having severe marital difficulties at the time of Suzanne's disappearance. The much-loved mom vanished while the younger of the couple's two daughter's Macy was away from the family home for a few days. Cops allege Barry killed Suzanne on the morning of May 9 2020, the day before her disappearance was reported. At a press conference on Friday night, District Attorney Anne Kelly declined to elaborate beyond what was contained in the indictment. She said only that her office never gave up on getting justice for Suzanne, adding: 'We have worked very hard to move forward in this case.' Morphew has maintained his innocence since his wife disappeared, and his attorney David Beller blasted the new indictment. He said: 'Yet again, the government allows their predetermined conclusion to lead their search for evidence. Barry maintains his innocence. The case has not changed, and the outcome will not either.' Barry was first charged with murdering his wife in 2021, in the absence of his wife's body. But the case collapsed amid prosecutorial misconduct, with Macy and the couple's other daughter Mallory both standing by their father throughout. A new team of prosecutors began probing Barry again after Suzanne's body was discovered dumped along the side of a rural road in Saguache County, Colorado in September 2023 in a patch of wasteland known as 'The Boneyard.' That is about an hour's drive south of the Morphew residence. And more dramatic evidence revealed for the first time Friday revealed that Suzanne did not die where her body was found. Forensic experts said the lack of animal activity on Suzanne's body combined with the lack of decomposure of the cycling clothes she was wearing mean 'it was unlikely Suzanne decomposed from a fresh body to a skeleton at this location.' The charging document did not offer any further theories or evidence as to where investigators believe Suzanne was killed or where her body was initially concealed. No cause of death has been given because of how badly Suzanne had decomposed, but a coroner's report said she'd died with the BAM tranquilizer in her system. Suzanne was reported missing by her neighbor on Mother's Day 2020 after Mallory and Macy were unable to reach her on the phone. Her last communication with a friend was on May 9, the day investigators believe Barry killed her. Barry and Suzanne were alone at their home at the time of the disappearance. On May 6, Suzanne texted Barry saying: 'I'm done. I could (sic) care less what you're up to and have been for years. We just need to figure this out civilly.' Barry claimed he left home early on the morning of May 10 to go to work in the Colorado city of Broomfield, three hours from their home. He said that Suzanne was asleep in their bed, having told him she was planning a bike ride for her day. Investigators insist Suzanne had already been dead for hours at that point. Barry's phone entered and exited airplane mode several times over the next 24 hours, authorities said. The door of his truck was opened numerous times between 3.25am and 5am and was backed up into the home's garage at least once. Further arousing suspicion was Barry's activity in Broomfield. He claimed to have been on a landscaping job but spent a total of just 90 minutes on site and the rest in a cheap hotel room that cleaners reported stank of chlorine after he checked out. Barry was captured on surveillance making several trash runs at numerous locations around town, but appeared to be doing little work, police noted. Suzanne's disappearance was reported to police on the evening of May 10 - Mothering Sunday - after Macy and Mallory said they had been unable to contact their mother. Barry asked a neighbor to check on the house and then asked them to call the sheriff when the neighbor saw no trace of Suzanne. During a subsequent police interview, Barry claimed the couple's marriage was 'the best' and that they'd just had a 'wonderful weekend together.' But that was a lie; Suzanne had been having a two year affair with an old school friend called Jeff Libler and despised her husband, it is alleged. After cops began to search the property, they found Suzanne's bike abandoned down a steep embankment close to the family home. Police believe that scene was staged. Her helmet was discovered days later, roughly a mile away, at the side of a highway. The disappearance of an attractive, wealthy mother soon sparked a nationwide media frenzy. A tearful Barry even released a brief video appeal to the public asking for information. 'Suzanne, if anyone is out there that can hear this that has you, please, we'll do whatever it takes to bring you back,' Barry said. Meanwhile, a huge manhunt was launched, with authorities scouring rural terrain, diving in lakes, and deploying K9 units to find Suzanne - but there was no trace. When Barry was questioned by police two days after Suzanne disappeared, officers noted he had scratches on his hands and arms. A search of the Morphew home found a live .22 caliber bullet by Suzanne's bed, and a needle cap from a tranquilizer dart was found in the dryer, tangled up among washed bed sheets. Investigators also recovered empty tranquilizer darts, a needle used to inject tranquilizer chemicals into the darts, and a dart gun. Barry Morphew admitted to using a tranquilizer gun to shoot deer so he could harvest their horns, but said he was unsure how the cap got in the dryer, court records show. Barry, who owned a scruffy trailer park in Cave Creek, will now be extradited to the San Luis Valley in Colorado to face charges. His 'Stardust Trailer Park' billed itself a 'boutique community' offering short and long-term rentals, but had a dilapidated and depressing air when visited by in 2024. His daughters have yet to comment on the charges brought against their father. Suzanne's loved ones including her sister Melinda had previously condemned Barry over his alleged treatment of his wife and claimed Suzanne had feared for her safety. A friend called Sheila Oliver claimed Suzanne had complained of Barry shoving her into a closet and putting a gun to his head while screaming: 'Is this what you want?' 'Federal, State and local law enforcement have never stopped working toward justice for Suzanne,' Twelfth Judicial District Attorney Anne Kelly said Friday.

Rhode Island lawmakers pass bill to ban sales of assault weapons
Rhode Island's Democratic-controlled state House on Friday approved legislation that would ban the sale and manufacturing of many semiautomatic rifles commonly referred to as assault weapons. The proposal now heads to the desk of Democratic Gov. Dan McKee, who has said he supports assault weapons bans. If the bill is signed into law, Rhode Island will join 10 states that have some sort of prohibition on high-powered firearms that were once banned nationwide and are now largely the weapon of choice among those responsible for most of the country's devastating mass shootings. Gun control advocates have been pushing for an assault weapons ban in Rhode Island for more than a decade. However, despite being a Democratic stronghold, lawmakers throughout the country's smallest state have long quibbled over the necessity and legality of such proposals. The bill only applies to the sale and manufacturing of assault weapons and not possession. Only Washington state has a similar law. Residents looking to purchase an assault weapon from nearby New Hampshire or elsewhere will also be blocked. Federal law prohibits people from traveling to a different state to purchase a gun and returning it to a state where that particular of weapon is banned. Nine states and the District of Columbia have bans on the possession of assault weapons, covering major cities like New York and Los Angeles. Hawaii bans assault pistols. Critics of Rhode Island's proposed law argued Friday during floor debates that assault weapons bans do little to curb mass shootings and only punish people with such rifles. 'This bill doesn't go after criminals, it just puts the burden on law-abiding citizens,' said Republican Sen. Thomas Paolino. It wasn't just Republicans who opposed the legislation. David Hogg — a gun control advocate who survived the 2018 school shooting in Parkland, Florida — and the Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence described the proposed ban as the 'weakest assault weapons ban in the country.' 'I know that Rhode Islanders deserve a strong bill that not only bans the sale, but also the possession of assault weapons. It is this combination that equals public safety,' Hogg said in a statement. Elisabeth Ryan, policy counsel at Everytown for Gun Safety, rejected claims that the proposed law is weak. 'The weakest law is what Rhode Island has now, no ban on assault weapons,' Ryan said. 'This would create a real, enforceable ban on the sale and manufacture of assault weapons, just like the law already working in Washington state, getting them off the shelves of Rhode Island gun stores once and for all.' Nationally, assault weapons bans have been challenged in court by gun rights groups that argue the bans violate the Second Amendment. AR-15-style firearms are among the best-selling rifles in the country. The conservative-majority Supreme Court may soon take up the issue. The justices declined to hear a challenge to Maryland's assault weapons ban in early June, but three conservative justices — Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Clarence Thomas — publicly noted their disagreement.
