Aberdeen bathe in Celtic tears and rip into Rangers 'corruption' with astonishing fixture announcement troll

The hilarious clip has gone down a storm with Dons and rival supporters in stitches Aberdeen have rinsed their eleven top flight rivals with a hilarious mickey-taking montage to announce their fixtures for the new Premiership season. The Dons shared a clip on their Instagram page which has gone down a storm on social media - even with some opposition fans. ‌ But Jimmy Thelin will be hoping it doesn't backfire by getting their rivals fired up when they come to meet. ‌ For it includes rubbing salt into the fresh wounds of Celtic with a clip of Hoops skipper Callum McGregor in tears after their Scottish Cup penalty shootout win just last month. The compilation lists the dates for the games against each of their rivals in the first part of the season, with the Hoops the visitors to Pittodrie on matchday two. And for their game against bitter rivals Rangers at Ibrox on November 1 they played the controversial clip of John Brown claiming a decision not to award Nico Raskin a goal at Easter Road last season was 'corrupt'. Rangers were fined £3000 by the Scottish Football Association for the comment and blasted the authorities in a scathing statement. For Dundee United they showed a series of tweets from the Tannadice club talking about qualifying for the Europa League - only for Aberdeen's Hampden heroics to relegate them to the Conference League. ‌ They ended with a clip of Spanish comedian Juan Joya Borja, better known as El Ristas (The Giggles) and his famous laugh. The Tangerines rivals Dundee had new boss Steven Pressley and his admission that if the Dark Blues were looking for a boss to win silverware then WASN'T their man, which saw him criticised. And for new boys Falkirk it was a clip of some young Bairns ultras which was mocked, St Mirren and images of them allowing Celtic to take over their club shop for a day while Hibs was a clip of Jamie McGrath, moving to Easter Road, holding aloft the Scottish Cup as fans changed 'Hibs are falling apart again.' All fans were loving it, with one saying: 'Fair play, that is class,' but another added: 'Bold. What could possibly go wrong?'

Florian Wirtz to be joined in Liverpool by girlfriend who has 100k admirers

Liverpool have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and the German playmaker will bring his girlfriend Aaliyah with him to Anfield Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz is moving closer to completing a record move to Liverpool. The German midfielder could soon become the most expensive player in Premier League history and will be joined by his girlfriend Aaliyah on Merseyside. Wirtz, 22, appears poised to join Arne Slot's team after Liverpool reportedly struck a deal with Bayer Leverkusen. The two clubs have agreed to a £100m fee that could rise to £116m, potentially breaking the British transfer record currently held by Chelsea's Moises Caicedo. ‌ However, the German midfielder won't be the only new arrival in Liverpool as he'll be joined by his partner Aaliyah. Wirtz has kept his personal life private, but photos of him with Aaliyah began to emerge last year. ‌ She was spotted on the pitch at the BayArena celebrating Leverkusen's unbeaten league and cup double before their defeat in the Europa League final. She also supported the Germany international in the stands at last summer's Euros. Aaliyah was pictured chatting with Sophia Weber, Kai Havertz's other half, and Wirtz's father in the stands before joining her partner on the pitch after their quarter-final defeat to Spain. Away from football, Aaliyah is an influencer. Although her Instagram account is private, she has amassed over 100k followers on TikTok, where she shares fashion inspiration. The Daily Star reports that she has also collaborated with Cologne-based photographer Jonas Herrlein. The couple are believed to have started dating in 2022, around the time when Wirtz suffered a cruciate ligament injury. As reported by German publication BILD, Aaliyah supported him during his recovery. He overcame the setback and played a crucial role in Leverkusen's unexpected Bundesliga title victory last year. Aaliyah has also become part of the family, being photographed with his parents and siblings at matches. ‌ Wirtz's transfer to Liverpool could surpass the current £115m British record set in August 2023 when Chelsea bought Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion, outbidding Liverpool in the process. Liverpool had previously seen bids of £109m and £113m rejected by Leverkusen before finally making headway. Wirtz is now set to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms on the deal. The Reds have already been busy in the transfer market. They moved quickly to sign Wirtz's team-mate Jeremie Frimpong for £29.5m and are close to a deal for Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez, while also being linked with an interest in Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
