Katy Perry shocked by stage invader in the middle of Sydney gig
Katy Perry was shocked as a fan jumped on stage and grabbed her mid-concert.
The 40-year-old star was singing her 2008 hit 'Hot N Cold' during a gig in Sydney, Australia on Monday (09.06.25) when a man crashed the stage and put his arm around her.
As seen in a video shared by fans on X, Katy quickly moved out of his reach as he kept jumping and dancing.
Two security guards quickly rushed the stage, while the man tried to avoid them.
Katy quipped: "Well, there's never going to be another show like this. So just enjoy it, Sydney.'
She kept performing, while security were able to pull the man to the side stage, where two more members of security helped them forcibly removed him.
While this incident was real, it follows a promotional skit last month when Katy halted a gig to tell a fan to stop messaging her fiancé Orlando Bloom.
During the US leg of her 'Lifetimes' world tour, the 'Roar' hitmaker paused her gig in Paradise, Nevada to single out an audience member named Kyle.
While addressing Kyle over private messages allegedly sent to her partner, Katy crouched on stage and told him: 'I know why you're here. Listen, if you keep DM-ing my man... you've been doing it for months, ever since the residency. You didn't come to see me play.'
As the audience reacted with laughter and cheers, she continued: 'If you keep on DM-ing my man I'm going to have you removed – seriously, get your own life.'
Raising her voice, she added: 'He don't want you, Kyle. I'm his wife. I'm his, he's mine... stay the f*** away.'
Kyle appeared visibly shocked and turned to friends as Katy resumed the set.
But the confrontation was later revealed to be a scripted segment of the performance, leading into her 2024 single 'I'm His, He's Mine'.

Katy Perry was 'really worried' about Benson Boone dealing with 'hate'
Katy Perry was "really worried" about Benson Boone and the "hate" he's experienced on his rise to stardom. The Beautiful Things hitmaker achieved viral overnight success thanks to the 2024 mega-hit but he first auditioned on American Idol when pop superstar Katy was a judge in 2021, before quitting to pursue his own path into the music business. Benson was asked if Katy has ever taken credit for his career after she predicted he would win the talent show. He told The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2: "Do you want to know the actual truth? I actually think that she is really glad that I left the show.' Recounting his recent conversation with the I Kissed A Girl singer, he said: 'I talked to her the other day. I say the other day… It was like two months ago. It was at an awards show. We just got to chit chat for a little bit and she was like, really happy for me. Also, really worried about me. I think she understands that when you are starting to go through all of this, there's just a lot of hate coming your way. A lot of people who want things from you. She was more just checking in on me but…' He noted: "She actually really is a lovely person.' Katy was glad Benson decided to leave American Idol. He said: 'She told me she was like, 'leaving that show was the best thing you ever did.'' Scott Mills replied: 'And that's no shade on her being on the show.' Benson agreed: 'No, not at all.' At the time, the 22-year-old star had no idea if he wanted to work in music. He continued: 'She just understands… I didn't even know if I wanted to do music at that time.' Benson explained: 'Yeah, they reached out to me to be on the show because it was during COVID, so you couldn't go in to audition. So, they were reaching out to a bunch of people and I got reached out to because I had posted a couple of videos at that point. I was like I am in college, what do I have to lose? I will just go do this. It might be fun.' Listen back to the full interview on BBC Sounds.

INSIDE MEDIA: Another set-back for Kyle and Jackie O in Melbourne
Welcome to our special coverage of the results of survey 3 radio ratings for 2025, which were released this morning. This survey covers survey dates March 9 to April 12, and April 27 to May 31. MELBOURNE THE STORY: While 3AW is expected to continue its dominance, The Christian O'Connell Show on Gold 104.3 will be hoping to retain its #1 status on the FM dial. ABC Breakfast had a controversial survey after host Bob Murphy made a joke about his co-host Sharnelle Vella previously working at a strip club. It led to an awkward apology that did the show no favours. Meanwhile, The Kyle And Jackie O show had a slight rise in the previous survey, they will be hoping to see some more green shoots in the market that has proven to be tougher than expected. THE RESULTS: It's another win for 3AW with a 12.5 per cent share (-1.6 per cent), ahead of GOLD 104.3 on 11.8 per cent (-0.7 per cent). In breakfast Ross and Russ continue to dominate on 3AW with an 18.1 per cent share (-0.7 per cent). The battle for #1 on the FM dial has taken another twist with Jase and Lauren regaining the top spot with 10.2 per cent (no change) ahead of Christian O'Connell on 9.7 per cent (-1.1 per cent). Despite the controversy, ABC breakfast has climbed to 7.6 per cent (+2 per cent) from the last survey, overtaking The Kyle And Jackie O Show which dropped to 5.1 per cent (-0.7 per cent). SYDNEY THE STORY: Like its sister station 3AW in Melbourne, 2GB dominated survey 2, despite line-up changes including Mark Levy replacing Ray Hadley. Kyle and Jackie O were number 1 on the FM dial and will be hoping to strengthen their share after a slight dip. THE RESULTS: 2GB (where I appear weekly) continues its dream run with a 13.6 per cent share of people 10+ (+0.8 per cent) with SmoothFM number 1 on FM at 12.4 per cent (+0.6 per cent). Ben Fordham is still a dominant force in breakfast securing 16.7 per cent of the market (+1.1 per cent), while The Kyle And Jackie O Show also had a small gain to take out the top spot on FM with a 12.5 per cent share (+0.2 per cent). Ray Hadley's replacement, Mark Levy, was steady on 15.5 per cent while new Drive host Clinton Maynard enjoyed a slight increase of +0.4 per cent for an 8.6 per cent share. The line-up changes at 2GB have not affected its ratings dominance in sin city. BRISBANE THE STORY: In something of a shock at breakfast, B105's Stav, Abbey, and Matt were ousted from the #1 spot by Ash, Luttsy & Nikki Osborne on NOVA who had a 13.6 per cent share of the audience. The team at B105 were forced to share second spot with Triple M Breakfast With Marto & Margaux. Both shows had 13.2 per cent share, but B105 had a drop of -0.9 per cent. Triple M took top honours overall while talkback station 4BC started to see some positive growth after coming off a very low base. THE RESULTS: Triple M has done it again, taking out the top spot with a 12.8 per cent audience share, despite a slight drop of -0.1 per cent. And it seems to be a rinse and repeat in Brisbane with Ash, Luttsy & Nikki Osborne on NOVA remaining at number 1 with a 13.1 per cent share (-0.5 per cent) just ever so slightly ahead of B105's Stav, Abbey, and Matt on 13.0 per cent (-0.2 per cent). 4BC (where I once worked) will be happy to have sustained the growth of last survey, or at least not significantly fall back. Breakfast remained steady on 5.2 per cent, Mornings was down -0.8 per cent, Afternoons was up slightly by 0.1 per cent and drive rose 2.2 per cent. That will give executives some breathing space and confidence. ADELAIDE THE STORY: Roo, Ditts, and Loz on Triple M reigned supreme last survey, despite a minor drop of -0.8 per cent share points. That result wasn't enough to stop MIX have claiming the #1 position overall with a 14 per cent share. THE RESULTS: MIX remains at the top of the pile on 14.4 per cent (+0.4 per cent), while NOVA on 11.9 per cent (-0.6 per cent) battles it out for second place with Triple M on 11.6 per cent (-0.6 per cent). We have a new winner in the breakfast slot with Jodie and Hayesy on NOVA hitting a 13.8 per cent share (+1.0 per cent), edging out Roo, Ditts, and Loz on Triple M who had a 13.6 per cent share (+0.4 per cent). PERTH THE STORY: NOVA's Nathan, Nat & Shaun continue to be a dominant force in breakfast with a 21.7 per cent share, way ahead of 96FM's Clairsy & Lisa in second place with a 13.3 per cent share. 6PR continues to defy traditional thinking in the Nights slot, with its show from Melbourne increasing audience share by 1.1 per cent. THE RESULTS: 96FM is Perth's new number 1 with a 17.1 per cent share (+1.9 per cent), swapping places with NOVA which dropped to 14.9 per cent (-2.1 per cent). In breakfast NOVA's Nathan, Nat & Shaun were unbeatable with a dominating 19.5 per cent share (-2.2 per cent).

Orlando Bloom reveals adorable skill Bryce Dallas Howard taught his daughter Daisy
Orlando Bloom has revealed Bryce Dallas Howard taught his daughter to paint. The 48-year-old actor has described his Deep Cover co-star as a "angel" after she helped find an artistic spark in his four-year-old daughter Daisy, who he shares with fiancee Katy Perry. During a joint interview on Heart Breakfast, Bryce said: "I hope it is okay me sharing this? Orlando's beautiful family was there and I love his daughter. I like to watercolour..." The Pirates of the Caribbean star interjected: "She taught Daisy to watercolour. By the way, most people sit at the side of the set and are scrolling the 'gram or anything. "And she has set up this beautiful table... She's literally doing these beautiful watercolours, and Daisy would come over and go, 'What are you doing?' " Bryce added that "Daisy is amazing", before Orlando revealed the impact the sweet moment had. He said: "And this angel, she sets her up and she's got this watercolour. "And literally I went home and bought her a watercolour set, and she's been doing water painting, and she loves it now." He added: "Mother number one over there." Bryan - who called Daisy "marvellous" - described their interactions as one of the "great joys" of working on the Amazon Prime Video series. She said: "You're so sweet. But honestly it was one of the great joys of getting to do this was getting to hang out with Daisy. "It was just the best." Earlier this year, before her ongoing Lifetimes tour got underway, Orlando's partner Katy admitted she loves enjoying her own success through the eyes of their daughter. She told E! News: "It's like Christmas again when you get to see it through a child's eyes. There's so much light and joy and hope. "One thing I will be implementing is an earlier showtime because now I feel for all the mothers that I put through when I started my show at 9:15."
