The win extends the six-time Irish champion's stellar week since being appointed Juddmonte's retained rider and as he is set to be a more regular sight on British soil, it was a fine way to get accustomed to Esher.
Keane told Racing TV: 'She was keen and Billy Lee told me she could be but I didn't think she would be that bad and she ended up bringing me into a couple of pockets.
'To be fair to her she only got out in the last half furlong and she has done well to win. I think over here when she gets used to proper sprinting it will suit her and the quicker they go the better as she will relax and we'll see the best of her.
'I would have thought she could go on to run well in Group company.'

The once star rider who won the Grand National over jumps and Gold Cup on the Flat, but now has no movement from the neck down, has opened up about the challenges he now faces Graham Lee has revealed he is holding on to a 'glimmer of light' that could put an end to the brutal reality of his life since he suffered life-changing injuries in a racing fall. The 49-year-old was left paralysed from the neck down after sustaining an unstable cervical fracture which damaged his spinal cord when he came off exiting the stalls at Newcastle in November 2023. Lee was a highly successful jockey who became the only rider to win both the Grand National at Aintree and Gold Cup at Royal Ascot during a career in which he excelled at both jumps and on the Flat. ‌ Now he needs round-the-clock care and regularly visits Jack Berry House in Malton, Yorkshire, the Injured Jockeys' Fund rehab facility which celebrated its tenth anniversary this year. ‌ Funds are also being raised for the ex-jockey through the The Graham Lee Racing Club. 'After Jack read about it, he said, 'It looks like we're going to China, then'. I wouldn't think it will happen but it's a glimmer of light, a little bit of hope." ‌ He went on: "I was a very moderate rider who was told, 'You can't and you won't,' but yet I did. I had lots of broken bones and plenty of head injuries along the way but my body always overcame the obstacles. It always healed. This ain't healing. "That makes me angry at my body, which is probably very unfair because my body is okay, it's just the spinal cord that is broken. I'm angry because in the past my body collapsed but then came back. At the minute, there is no coming back. "When you're a jockey, you always dream of getting on that one horse who will take you to the next level. My situation is the same. I'm hoping and I'm dreaming. That's what keeps us going. "I'm just hoping that somewhere, some day, there will be that glimmer of light."

Eustaquio juggles duties with Porto and Canada

June 22 (Reuters) - Portuguese club Porto's squad for the Club World Cup includes midfielder Stephen Eustaquio, the captain of Canada, who is also listed in his national team's roster for the ongoing CONCACAF Gold Cup being held in the United States. Having a player represent both his club and national team in two official competitions at the same time is a rare occurrence in football history. Porto began their campaign in the revamped tournament with a goalless draw against Brazil's Palmeiras last Monday in East Rutherford, just one day before Canada's Gold Cup opener in Vancouver. With the Gold Cup jointly hosted by Canada and the U.S., and the Canadian team moving on to Houston, for the rest of their group stage matches, the possibility of Eustaquio joining the squad became realistic, provided Porto's journey in the Club World Cup ends. Trawlerman triumph highlights fruitful Royal Ascot for Gosden team

Field Of Gold and Ombudsman had already produced sublime performances in the St James's Palace Stakes and Prince of Wales's Stakes respectively during the first two days of the Royal meeting, but the elusive Gold Cup victory for the Clarehaven team's staying stalwart rubber stamped a stellar five days. Thady Gosden said: 'It's been a terrific week and I think the highlight must be Trawlerman. he's been in the yard five years, he's by Golden Horn and he wears his heart on his sleeve. 'He's the most genuine horse and in his races he will do everything, but when you're with him in person he is a kind, sweet, gentle soul, and for him to run the race he did having coming second last year – what a fantastic result for the horse and for the sport.' The Gosden team finished the week with five winners, the same number as O'Brien, but took the prize due to on extra silver medal they picked up through the week. Gosden Sr has previously won the award twice on his own and praised his son Thady after winning the award for a second time as a training partnership. John Gosden – who registered his 70th Royal Ascot winner this week – said: 'Our week started very strongly with the right races and everyone working at home had the horses spot-on. 'They've run very well since, finishing second and third and second and third, and that of course counts towards winning this when you're at five winners all with Aidan O'Brien. 'Thady has been with me about eight years already – and the rest – so, poor chap, it must be getting a bit annoying! He capped yet another fine week in Berkshire with his seventh success of the meeting aboard Willie Mullins' Sober in the concluding Queen Alexandra Stakes to finish two clear of Oisin Murphy. Moore said: 'It's great to ride seven winners, Aidan's horses were in great form all work, when you're riding for Aidan and Willie you're going to ride winners.' Both Coolmore and Wathnan Racing finished the week with five winners, but it was Coolmore who came out on top for the third year running on account of their superior record with placed horses. Coolmore's MV Magnier said: 'It means a lot to everyone. The guys and everyone put everything into this week, and for Aidan and Ryan to do such a good job, it's incredible. 'We're very grateful and we are very lucky to be here. We are very lucky to have the King and Queen present every day this week. It's a big deal for our business.'
