EXCLUSIVE: Akshay Kumar's easy, healthy water includes cucumber and one secret ingredient
In an exclusive interaction with Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar 's water bottle caught everyone's eyes. When asked, he replied, 'This water is just normal with apple, cucumber, and mint leaves. It's a very clean drink, plus it's good to have 3-4 litres of water.'
On hearing the actor's response, Vishnu Manchu felt prompted to follow the same regime and said, 'I am gonna start practicing that, use such infused water.'
Talking more about his water bottle, the Bollywood actor revealed how he simply gets his drink from home, and it's the easiest thing anyone could make.
Vishnu Manchu starrer Kannappa is slated to hit the big screens on June 27, 2025. With stars like Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar making cameo appearances, the Bollywood superstar, along with Vishnu, was clicked in an interview with Pinkvilla.
Talking about Kannappa, the upcoming Telugu-language fantasy film is based on the legend of Kannappa from Hindu mythology. The story narrates the tale of a non-believer whose life takes an epic journey where he transforms into an ardent devotee of the god.
With Vishnu Manchu and several stars playing key roles, the ensemble cast of the film includes actors like Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, and many more.
In a recent post made by the lead actor himself, it was revealed that superstar Rajinikanth has watched the film along with his family. The veteran actor was impressed with the venture, expressing his love for the movie.
Moving ahead, Akshay Kumar was recently seen hitting the big screens with the 5th installment of the Housefull franchise. The comedy-thriller film co-written and directed by Tarun Mansukhani follows the tale of multiple imposters.
With all of them claiming to be the son of a deceased billionaire, the film takes place on a cruise ship with a killer on the loose.
Following the release of Kannappa, marking the actor's debut in Telugu cinema, Akshay Kumar has a lineup of releases including Jolly LLB 3, Bhooth Bangla and more.

Kuberaa box office collection day 2: Sekhar Kammula's Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh-starrer Kuberaa is holding steady at the box office. Talking at a success meet after the release of Kuberaa, Nagarjuna claimed he was the 'main character' and said, 'Through this film, I am the main character in the film and everything else revolves around me. The screen space I got might be different, but that is not a criterion for me. This is Deepak's film, right from start to end, and that is how Sekhar also told it when he narrated it to me. My arc is also likewise that, which is why I liked it.'

Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 2: Aamir Khan-starrer, Sitaare Zameen Par, hit the silver screen on Friday this week and scored a double digit figure at the box office right on the opening day. Directed by RS Prasanna, it is the spiritual sequel of Taare Zameen Par. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par made a business of ₹ 10.28 crore on Saturday, June 21. The film saw an overall 22.43% occupancy in Hindi language on Saturday. It also released in Tamil and Telugu. Sitaare Zameen Par had an overall 25.20% Tamil Occupancy on Saturday and 17.42% Telugu Occupancy. Without blocked seats, the Aamir Khan sequel was poised to make a business of ₹ 3.31 crore from advance booking ticket sales. Housefull 5 Second Saturday Box Office Estimates: Akshay Kumar starrer stays in race to emerge a mid-range success in India
Tarun Mansukhani's Housefull 5 led by Akshay Kumar is still getting audiences in its 3rd weekend, despite some stiff competition from Sitaare Zameen Par. After ending its first 2 weeks in India collecting Rs 151.75 crore net, the movie managed Rs 1.50 crore on its third Friday. Today, that is on its third Saturday, the movie has collected Rs 1.80 crore, to take the total to Rs 155.05 crore. Another Rs 2 crore on Sunday will take the comic-caper to Rs 157.05 crore net. The Day Wise Net India Collections Of Housefull 5 Are As Under Particulars India Net Collection Week 1 Rs 114.40 crore Week 2 Rs 37.35 crore 3rd Friday Rs 1.50 crore 3rd Saturday Rs 1.80 crore Total Rs 155.05 crore net Housefull 5 remains on course to emerge a mid-range success. Although a mid-range success is not that great a result for a franchise film with a cent percent hit track-record, it is not as bad as many of the big films that have released post-pandemic. It could have been worse given the initial perception of the movie that was created. Housefull 5 Opened Well But The Trend Over The Weekdays Was Not Strong The first weekend numbers of Housefull 5 were good and it is the weekday trend that was weak, resulting in a lower than required second week. Had the word of mouth been favourable, it would have crossed Rs 200 crore net and settled for a lifetime number in the range of Rs 250 crore net. The overseas haul of USD 6.75-7 million could have been more like 10 million with favourable reception, pushing the film's global numbers close to Rs 375 crore instead of Rs 265-275 crore gross. Housefull 5's Reception Proves That Branded Content Still Works One thing that is clear is that branded content is working and the final result of Housefull 5, which is decent but underwhelming, should not make it seem like focus should shift away from sequels. Akshay Kumar has a bunch of branded (Sequel/IP) content up for release, from Welcome To The Jungle to Jolly LLB 3, up for release in the next one year. There also is OMG 3 that is in the works.
