Kerala Class 12th Result 2025 on May 22: Check HSLC results on Saphalam, keralaresults.nic.in, dhsekerala.gov.in, results.kite.kerala.gov.in
Kerala Class 12th Result 2025: The Kerala Plus Two Result 2025 is set to be declared on May 22, as confirmed by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) earlier. The evaluation of answer scripts has already been completed, and the result will be announced tomorrow at 3 pm.
According to reports, over 4.44 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 board examinations this year and are now eagerly awaiting their results.
Once released, students will be able to check their Kerala Class 12 results 2025 on the official websites – keralaresults.nic.in, dhsekerala.gov.in, and result.kite.kerala.gov.in.
They will be required to enter their registration number and date of birth. In case students face issues accessing the result due to high website traffic, alternative digital platforms and apps have been provided to ensure a smooth result-checking process.
The Kerala Plus Two result will also be accessible through the iExaMS – Kerala app, developed by the Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE). Another convenient option is the Saphalam app, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
After installation, students can log in using their roll number and date of birth to view and download their marksheets, along with subject-wise scores. These platforms offer students a reliable backup in case of slow or crashed official websites.
Additionally, candidates can check their Kerala Plus Two results through SMS. To do so, they must type KERALA12 followed by a space and their roll number, then send the message to 56263. This SMS service is especially useful for students without consistent internet access.
The Kerala Plus Two board examinations were held earlier this year, and as students gear up to access their scores, understanding the grading system is essential. The DHSE uses a grading system to assess student performance. A student scoring between 90 and 100 percent receives an A+ grade, while 80–89% corresponds to an A grade. Marks between 70–79% are awarded a B+, and 60–69% earns a B grade. Students scoring 50–59% are graded C+, and 40–49% receive a C. A score between 30 and 39% is considered a D+, which is the minimum passing grade. Any score below 30% is marked as a D or E, which is categorized as a fail.
Students must note that the digital mark sheet provided on the day of the result will be provisional, and students are advised to save a copy for reference until they receive their official documents from their respective schools. Further updates regarding re-evaluation, supplementary exams, and admissions to higher education institutions will be available soon on the DHSE website.

Fund crunch threatens to disrupt operations of hostels for tribal students in Kerala
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The tussle between Kerala and the Centre over the release of funds through the Samagra Shiksha scheme is set to hit the smooth functioning of six residential hostels for Schedule Tribe (ST) boys and one for girls that house close to 400 students. The hostels managed by Samagra Shiksha-Kerala (SSK) provide both residential and academic facilities to children hailing from sparsely populated, hilly and densely forested areas. The fund crunch has landed their academic future in uncertainty. The disbursal of Central funds through Samagra Shiksha has been facing disruption since the second half of 2023-24 but the SSK managed to overcome the crisis using the funds provided by local bodies under the elementary education head. However, with no funds in sight since the beginning of the current fiscal, SSK officials are in a fix on how to keep the hostels running. While the six boys' hostels, set up in 2018-19, have a combined intake of 300 students, there are 80 students in the facility for girls that was established in 2022. Of these, only the facility for girls functions from its own building; the rest operate from rented buildings. 'The hostels require Rs 2.14 crore annually for functioning. A major portion of the fund is spent on food, rent and the remuneration of teaching and non-teaching staff,' said an SSK official. Since the new academic year began on June 2, the hostels have been functioning at the mercy of the building owners and traders who allow credit for purchase of provisions.
