The progress made during America's high-level trade talks with China is a 'transformative outcome', according to CommSec's Tom Piotrowski.
'The hopes are high given the commentary that we heard from the officials leaving the meeting,' he told Sky News Australia.
'The Chinese Vice Commerce Minister said that whenever the details are released, it will be 'good news for the world', so that is telling.'
Mr Piotrowski claimed markets are 'pensive' moving into the early stages of the new week.
