Taylor Swift halts the 2025 Grammys red carpet
Taylor Swift has finally arrived at the 2025 Grammys. The veteran Grammys winner took 'loving you is red' to a whole different level.
Entertain This!
A Cape Cod mansion, "Begin Again" singer Taylor Swift lived in for a summer, is back on the market.
The Grammy-award winning songstress lived at 27 Marchant Avenue in Hyannis Port for a few months in 2012, when she reportedly dated Conor Kennedy, the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The 5,064 square-foot home, which has been on the market for just a few weeks, is currently listed for $14.5 million.
"She purchased (the home)," Robert B. Kinlin, the property's listing agent, told USA TODAY on May 8. "It's no secret that she was dating one of the Kennedy kids. And when that ended, someone else stepped in and bought this, and that person who stepped in and bought it is also selling it now."
Swift's old pad, located in the "heart of Hyannis Port," comes complete with eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a "sun-drenched" sunroom, an outdoor pool, guest quarters, a circular driveway and a three-vehicle garage among other amenities.
The waterfront property, offering panoramic views across Nantucket Sound and sitting within eyeline of the famed Kennedy Compound, was also recently remodeled by the couple who purchased the home from Swift.
"Taylor (Swift) had it, it was very nice, but it was older, looking dated," Kinlin said. "This couple breathed new energy and blood into the place. And even though the floor plan is relatively the same, the decorating is very different, very soothing."
How long did Taylor Swift live in Cape Cod?
Kinlin, who facilitated the original sale, said he believes Swift lived at 27 Marchant Avenue for between six to eight months while she was dating Conor Kennedy.
The realtor never met Swift; instead, he worked directly with her father, Scott Swift, who was facilitating the negotiations on his daughter's behalf.
"I saw her from a distance, but all the rigmarole that goes along with purchasing a home, I worked with her dad," Kinlin said.
Swift and Conor Kennedy, according to Newsweek, dated from July to October 2012. In an October 2012 interview with The Cape Cod Times, the late Ethel Kennedy, Conor's grandmother, described Swift as "spectacular" and "sensational inside and out."
"You know what she really is? She's game. She had never sailed before; she sailed," Ethel Kennedy said. "She had never gone dragging before; she dragged. She played anything that everyone else was doing. And she was good at it, and no fuss. And I'm happy that we'll be neighbors. I'm thrilled.'
The couple split that fall due to "distance," an insider told US Weekly at the time. But she reportedly forever immortalized her time at Cape Cod with the Kennedys with two tracks: "Starlight" and "Begin Again," both on 2012 album "Red."

The landmark estate, which looks relatively the same, was "redone," Kinlin said.
"The architect and the builder did a terrific job of maintaining the era that the house was built, which was 1928, and keeping the inside and the outside of the property kind of like quintessential Cape Cod," Kinlin said. "It's very appealing on the inside and it's very appealing on the outside."

Man Living at Sea Shares Daily Life—Then Brings Out the Metal Detector
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A 27-year-old man from Australia gained traction on social media after sharing what a day in his life, living full time aboard a catamaran, looks like. Then he brought out his metal detector and shocked internet users with an incredible find. In a viral TikTok video shared in June under the username @thegood_pirate, Baden LeSueur shares what a "realistic day as a solo pirate treasure hunter" looks like. It starts with a golden sunrise and a cup of coffee, before he sets sail to find local hidden treasures. After climbing a palm tree to get a fresh coconut on Hammerhead Bay, and leaving his pup to nap peacefully, LeSueur grabs his metal detector and starts the search. Immediately, the metal detector starts beeping, signaling something is underneath. However, when LeSueur unearths the finding, it turns out to be just a coin. Refusing to give up just yet, he continues the search, and after finding a bunch of waste, he finally gets another beep. "I see a tiny bit a gold and at this point my heart is racing; I wonder if it's real gold," LeSueur can be heard saying in the clip, as he showcases his finding, a 22-carat gold ring with a red stone on top, which he still hasn't been able to identify. Pictures shared by LeSueur show him documenting a day in his life as a "solo pirate." Pictures shared by LeSueur show him documenting a day in his life as a "solo pirate." thegood_pirate Jewelry can have different metal density, and 22-carat gold is about 91.7 percent pure. According to at the time of writing this article, the price of gold is approximately $3,366 per troy ounce, although it fluctuates throughout the day. LeSueur told Newsweek that, before living on his catamaran, he had started his own business, straight after high school, a jumping castle company that he owned for many years. But his goal was always to save up for a catamaran of his own that he could use to sail around the world. "I used to post lots of ocean content and dreamed about producing my own videos to inspire people and help fund my adventures out on the sea. One day, I decided to take the gamble, sold everything, and bought a broken-down boat down in Sydney. This is when my online career really kicked off," LeSueur said. Now he lives full-time on his catamaran with his number-one crew mate, his pup Kida, who follows him on his daily adventures. LeSueur said: "From battling storms, to catching our own meals so we can eat, to finding people's long lost treasure on the bottom of the seabed and the crystal-white beaches along the Australian shoreline. With any luck, I'll hopefully be able to return the lost items to their owner or sell to a jeweler to help cover the costs of boat maintenance." The pair eat a lot of what they catch along the way, spearfishing and lots of coconuts. LeSueur also always makes sure to have appropriate safety equipment and protocol on board, to keep himself and his companion safe. He checks he is always carrying an emergency position-indicating radiobeacon (EPIRB), and that he always lets someone know where he is and where he is headed. "My dream is to continue the adventure, live off the ocean, and hunt for artifacts and treasure around the world. Since sharing my content, people call me 'The Good Pirate.' Sailing has been in my blood ever since I was a kid. My dad was a sailor and his dad was also a sailor. As a child, we spent a lot of time on the water," LeSueur added. Among his findings, there has been "mostly junk," but also some occasional rings made of platinum, silver, or gold. LeSueur said: "We've also found lots of coins, which I use to do my laundry. "Every day is an adventure, even from a sail tearing in 35 knots of wind to a glass-out sunset with fish under the boat. Each day is an adventure," he added. The video quickly went viral on social media and has so far received almost 60,000 views and more than 6,000 likes on the platform. One user, James, commented: "I'm stuck doing my dead job while you're doing this …" Mike said: "Do you run any calculations on your lucky finds? I curious how much money does a pirate do from selling the gold." Betty added: "What an incredible find! Must have been an amazing feeling to uncover such a treasure." Morgan Wallen sets negative headlines ablaze during 'I'm the Problem' tour opener
Morgan Wallen marked the opening night of his "I'm The Problem" Tour with a fiery performance at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, including what seemed to be his reaction to recent news headlines. According to multiple videos from fans in attendance at the June 20 concert, Wallen displayed a montage of negative headlines − including one that read "Morgan Wallen breaks COVID mask protocols" − during his performance of "I'm the Problem." After the song's performance, Wallen appeared to pour gasoline on the stage and then picked up a lighter, cueing a pyrotechnic show. "You say I'll never change, I'm just a go around town with some gasoline," Wallen sings during the opening lyrics of the song. "Just tryin' to bum a flame, gonna burn the whole place down." Wallen posted an Instagram video walking out before the concert with retired NFL legend Andre Johnson of the Houston Texans. USA TODAY reached out to reps for Wallen and NRG Stadium for comment. "Morgan Wallen burns the place down while bringing the receipts," wrote one X user. Another user on TikTok wrote, "Morgan Wallen claps back at all the negative headlines and sets the stage on 'fire.'" Wallen has spent his fair share of time in the headlines. Earlier this year, he caused quite a stir by making an early exit from "Saturday Night Live" during a March episode of the NBC sketch series. In an unusual moment, he hugged Oscar-winning host Mikey Madison during the signoff before walking off stage and then taking to his Instagram stories to post a photo of a plane and wrote, "Get me to God's country." Morgan Wallen teases new album 'I'm The Problem' and announces 2025 tour The walk-off moment sparked a wave of criticism for the "Just In Case" hitmaker, who pleaded guilty last year to misdemeanor reckless endangerment after throwing a chair off the roof of a bar. In 2020, Wallen was uninvited from "SNL" after videos surfaced that showed him partying without a mask amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The next year, he shocked the music industry when he was captured on tape in a TMZ video using a derogatory racial slur commonly used to describe Black people. The "Kick Myself" singer will also perform Saturday, June 21. Wallen's tour is named after his fourth studio album, in its fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 top albums chart. His previous album, "One Thing at a Time," spent 19 weeks at No. 1 — the most weeks any country album has ever logged at No. 1. "One Thing" followed "Dangerous," which spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on its way to becoming Billboard's most successful album of the century so far.
