
GreenCell Mobility secures order for over 1,200 electric buses PM E-Bus Sewa scheme
In a boost to India's electric public transport push, GreenCell Mobility has secured a landmark order of over 1,200 electric buses under the PM E-Bus Sewa Scheme, aimed at transforming urban mobility with sustainable, zero-emission solutions.The company has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the supply and deployment of 472 Eicher electric buses across six cities in Madhya Pradesh, in partnership with VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV). Additionally, 750 cutting-edge electric buses will be deployed in 11 cities of Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with Pinnacle Mobility Solutions (EKA Mobility).advertisementBacked by Eversource Capital, GreenCell Mobility is already operating 900 electric buses across Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, and is now expanding its footprint further in Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra: SLSC to oversee 750 e-bus proposal
VIJAYAWADA: The State government on Thursday constituted a State Level Steering Committee (SLSC) to oversee the submission of proposals to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) for procuring 750 electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa scheme. These e-buses, sanctioned by MoHUA, will be deployed across 11 cities in the State. As per the scheme's guidelines, each participating state must form an State Level Steering Committee headed by the Chief Secretary to review and forward proposals to the Centre for approval. Following a detailed study of the scheme and practices followed by other states like Punjab and Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh formed the committee. The State Level Steering Committee will be chaired by the Chief Secretary, with members including the Special Chief Secretary (Energy), Principal Secretaries of Transport, Roads and Buildings, Finance, and MAUD, Secretary (Industries and Commerce), and the Commissioner of the Public Transport Department. The State government finalised M/s Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Pune, along with discovered Gross Cost Contract (GCC) prices, as the selected agency for supplying the buses. As per the Government Order, the proposal for the e-bus procurement will be submitted to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs through the newly formed SLSC.

Here are the project execution deadline and other details KPI Green Energy Ltd. announced on the exchanges that it received a large solar power project order. In its intimation to the National Stock Exchange and the BSE, or the Bombay Stock Exchange, KPI Green Energy said that M/s. Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, a subsidiary of KPI Green Energy Limited, has been awarded Letters of Award or Intent for the development of solar power projects with a cumulative capacity of 36.87 MW under our Captive Power Producer (CPP) business segment. Among these, some projects, as per KPI Green Energy, will be developed in accordance with the Distributed Renewable Energy Bilateral Purchase (DREBP) Policy, as outlined in the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy-2023 and GERC Tariff Order (No. 5 & 6) of 2024. Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, a subsidiary of the company, shall develop the projects as per the terms of the order for various clients under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) business segment of the company, including projects under the Distributed Renewable Energy Bilateral Purchase (DREBP) Policy under the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy-2023 & GERC Tariff Order 2024. KPI Green tentative timeline or execution deadline for the project While the aggregate order size is 36.87 MW, the projects are tentatively scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2025-26 in various tranches as per the terms of the orders. KPI Green Energy in the month of June had announced signing MoUs with Delta Electronics India Private Limited to power India's green energy transition. Delta Electronics India is a key provider of energy and power management solutions. Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Green Hydrogen and EV Charging Infrastructure, and Solar PV Inverters are the three high-impact domains covered by this partnership.
