Meta suspended Megaphone's Instagram account on Thursday, the media platform said in a statement.
The account was suspended "after mass reporting led to the removal of several posts, coinciding with a broader incitement campaign against us. You can still follow us on Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok and our website as we work to recover the page," Megaphone said.
At the end of March, Public Prosecutor Jamal Hajjar transferred the cases against the Kulluna Irada lobby group, as well as media outlets Daraj and Megaphone, to Beirut Court of Appeal Prosecutor Ziad Abi Haidar, according to judicial sources who spoke with L'Orient-Le Jour.
On Wednesday, Megaphone published an explainer video titled "Discussion of the 'Banking Reforms Law.'"
In the video, Megaphone showed some MPs in the Lebanese parliament discussing the law and said, "Some MPs are repeating the arguments of the Banks' Association, as if they were spokespeople for the banks rather than representatives of the people."
Megaphone repeatedly publishes content criticizing those in power.

Israel said it would continue its strikes on Lebanon until Hezbollah was fully disarmed. As Israel's war with Iran entered its eighth day, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Hezbollah to keep out of the conflict, saying: "If there is terrorism, there will be no Hezbollah." Speaking in Beirut on Thursday, U.S. special envoy for Syria Thomas Barrack said any intervention by Hezbollah would be "a very, very, very bad decision."

Salam broaches national issues, district conditions with Grand Serail itinerant visitors
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received MP Antoine Habchi, at the Grand Serail. On emerging, MP Habchi said: "At the beginning of the meeting, I thanked His Excellency for his visit to the Baalbek-Hermel region, where he announced from there that the cannabis law, its implementing decrees, and the regulatory body would be put on track as soon as possible." Habchi added: "I also commended Prime Minister Salam's speech regarding Lebanon's sovereignty and his commitment to the ministerial statement and the basic principles contained in the inaugural speech regarding the Lebanese state's full sovereignty over its territory."
