Beauty box deal gets shoppers Fenty and Laneige products for under £7
The Trending Edit features six beauty treats from iconic brands like Pat McGrath and LANEIGE. Three of the products are full size, while the other three are in travel-friendly sizes.
Trending beauty, whether it's a hot new launch or going viral on social media, is often one of two things: expensive, or difficult to get hold of. But LookFantastic has done the hard work for makeup and skincare fans with a Trending Edit that not only puts some of the biggest heavyweights in the beauty business in one haul, but makes them more affordable too.
The perfect way to step up your beauty game for the sunnier months, the Trending Edit launched earlier this week and is on offer for £40. And by our tally, it's packed with over £110 worth of products - that's a cool £70 saving for shopaholics and works out at less than £7 per product.
The collection comes with six standout beauty picks - well, technically nine - three of which are classed as full-sized. Names like Pat McGrath, LANEIGE, Fenty and Beauty of Joseon grace the lineup, giving a real diverse selection of celebrity brands, Korean beauty and MUA-owned products.
But LookFantastic isn't the first retailer to launch a Trending Beauty Edit in 2025. When Boots released theirs earlier this year, it sold out in days. Meanwhile, there's the £45 Trending Box from Beauty Bay which is also available. And while it's £5 pricier, it's worth nearly £90 more at £198.It boasts a 4.7 rating based on 17 reviews. "The value for money is incredible, the products offered within the box are all fantastic - a perfect bundle of makeup, skincare, fragrance and haircare," said one buyer.
When it comes to the LookFantastic haul, though, there is one product that's worth more than the price shoppers pay. The Pat Mcgrath Labs Divine Rose: Jet-Dash Kit would usually set beauty buffs back £50. The kit serves up four legendary lip and cheek potion formulas in jet-setter size, highlighting the brand's cult-favourite petal-pink hue 'Divine Rose', reports MyLondon. The mix includes the crowd-pleaser LUST: Gloss and the Skin Fetish: Divine Blush.
Also worth your attention is the £19 MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil. Delivering a matte effect, it's a multitasker as a lip liner, eyeshadow pencil, blush or eyeliner. With 4.6 from 389 reviews on Sephora, one thrilled buyer was moved to note: "So buttery and easy to apply and it stays on for hours, I've already ordered another shade!".
Here's everything you can find inside the haul:
Pat Mcgrath Labs Divine Rose: Jet-Dash Kit - £50
LANEIGE Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask (25ml) - £17
MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil - 600 Anywhere Caffeine (1.41g) - £20
Beauty of Joseon Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel (100ml) £11
Supergoop! Glowscreen Sunrise SPF (10ml) 39
Fenty Beauty Hella Thicc Mascara (6ml) £5
There's also the Luxury Birthday Beauty Box from Next. Priced at £50, it comes with nine treats, including from NUXE and BareMinerals, worth over £182. Elsewhere, the Boots X Women's Health Beauty Box is filled with a variety of 12 items, 10 of which are full-sized, including sought-after brands like Sol de Janeiro, Grown Alchemist, and No7. The edit is on sale for £45 while boasting an impressive total worth of over £175, allowing shoppers to make a saving of £130.
Back at LookFantastic, there's also a Dermatological Skincare edit for £50, worth £170. It contains 11 science-backed skincare formulas, including a £49 Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3.

Merit 'five minute' routine includes 'holy grail' glow serum
The Merit Prep Set is a four-piece bundle to prep skin for foundation and the routine includes a new tinted moisturiser just in time for summer Clean beauty brand Merit has offered fans a 15% off discount on the Prep Set, which includes a serum that has been hailed a "holy grail" for glowing skin. The sleek minimalistic packaging and hydrating skincare formulas have quickly turned Merit into a cult beauty brand and it has won over the likes of Demi Moore and Nichole Richie. Sharing on Instagram, Merit posted a "routine that takes only five minutes" and that's the Prep Set and the Uniform Tinted Mineral Sunscreen. For a limited time, the Prep Set is reduced from £130 to £111 and it includes the viral Great Skin Instant Glow Serum, Great Skin Moisturiser, The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick and a Blending Brush. Formulated to plump and hydrate for an instant glow, the bi-phase serum, worth £34 alone, includes a blend of four types of hyaluronic acid to target multiple layers of skin to lock in moisture. It also has cacao seed extract to stimulate blood flow for an "immediate plumping effect". One fan reacted and shared: That serum is my holy grail! Compliments on my skin evey time I wear and the glow is amazing." Another added: "Need it all, the serum is my holy grail." The second step of the routine is to lock in hydration and prep skin for makeup using the Great Skin Priming Moisturiser. The pH-balanced face cream has added biomimetic emulsifier for a blurred, cashmere-like finish, while the peptides and oat extract deliver what fans said "wore so well throughout the day" and it "can be worn solo for a dewy look or use it as a primer for makeup". Then add in a shade of the Uniform, a tinted mineral sunscreen that comes with 15 shades. Our beauty writers have tested the skincare makeup-hybrid and Eve Rowlands described it as a "silky velvety texture and an airbrush finish", while Lauren Codling loved the "seamless blend" that saw her swapping out her M.A.C foundation in summer. But Bethan Shufflebotham found the Uniform "clinging" on particular dry areas and Eve suggested there could be a better design for the lid. Use along with the No.1 Blending Brush to create a well-protected smooth canvas before adding blush, contour and highlighter. There are other Tinted SPF Moisturisers on the market, including the Saie Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturiser, £31, and the Beauty of Joseon Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen SPF30, which is on 20% off on LookFantastic and available at £13.60. The final step will be the Minimalist, a complexion stick that does not categorise as a foundation nor a concealer. It provides added coverage or can double as a contour to sculpt and define. One shopper said: "I am obsessed with The Uniform for all over and then use the Minimalist Stick as a concealer. Such a good duo." One fan raved about the Merit set: "Hands down best makeup I have ever used as a minimal five-minute makeup girl. Top notch and worth every single penny." Another used the Minimalist to cover her under eyes dark circles and loved how it "make my eyes look awake". But a shopper took away a star and shared: "Only negative is that I can go through this fast so a lower price would be more enticing. Merit is not the only brand that launch stick-like makeup , Charlotte Tilbury's Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint, £35, gives a "ring-like effect" that can double as highlighter or foundation. Pixi Beauty's On-the-Glow Base is a more affordable option and is available on Amazon for £22. The Merit Prep Set is now on 15% off and shoppers can complete the "five-minute routine" along with The Uniform.

‘I saved over £200 by swapping my pricey skincare for this Boots K-beauty brand'
With Korean beauty proving to be a big trend at the moment, I tried out key products from the viral K-beauty brand that's just launched into Boots – and I was super impressed K-beauty isn't a new trend, but we've seen a huge rise in the popularity of Korean skincare this year, with shoppers after the 'glass skin' glow its hydrating formulas are famous for. It's also now easier than ever to buy here in the UK, with a number of top brands recently launching into mainstream retailers – including the brand Beauty of Joseon, now available from Boots, and already proving to be a big hit. Keen to see what all the hype is about, I put aside my tried-and-tested skincare routine and instead reached for some of Beauty of Joseon's bestsellers, most of which retail for around the £15 mark – and I couldn't believe how glowing they made my skin look. Here's what I would re-buy... Korean skincare products are all about hydration and glow via applying multiple light layers, rather than using thick, heavy formulas, and Beauty of Joseon is perfect for this. After cleansing, I started with the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum : Ginseng + Retinal, £15, which feels cooling and refreshing, and ideal if you're trying to tackle puffiness and dark circles , but if probably unlikely to make many long-term improvements to dryness and fine lines. Next up was a product I'd never really used before, but which I feel made the biggest different to my skin: an essence. Glow Replenishing Rice Milk, £15.50, is designed to be patted into the skin. It's an excellent way to get extra hydration and radiance into the skin without piling on heavy layers, and I saw a noticeable glow from this. Our shopping writer Grace is also a fan, saying how one person actually stopped her in the street to compliment her glowing skin after using this. I also tried a couple of serums from the Beauty of Joseon Hanbang Serum Discovery Kit, £23, which, although all lovely and lightweight, I don't really feel had enough 'anti-ageing' ingredients as my late-30s skin needs (perhaps better suited to younger skin). This was followed by Dynasty Cream, £21, the brand's moisturiser and currently stocked in the Love Island villa, which has a gel-cream texture; I think it would be great for oily to combination skin. If you normally hate the feeling of greasy sunscreens on your face, you should definitely check out Korean formula, which are typically high factor but very lightweight – and Beauty of Joseon's are no exception. I'd probably use Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics SPF 50+, currently £13.95, in winter, but Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh Rice + B5 SPF 50+, also now £13.95, feels like water, and it ideal in hot weather or if you have oily skin. After using this full K-beauty routine, I couldn't believe how good my skin looked – fresh, juicy and glowing. The products that I think made the biggest difference were the Glow Replenishing Rice Milk and the Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh Rice + B5 SPF 50+ – I'll repurchase them, I'd definitely recommend looking at these ones first if you're thinking of trying the brand. I would also save a huge amount of money if I stuck with this routine. My previous morning regimen consisted of Austinus Bader The Face Mist, £76, Skin Rocks The Eye Cream, £65, Medik8 Liquid Peptides Advanced MP, £79, ALLSKIN|MED Barrier Defence Emulsion, £82, and Ultra Violette Future Fluid Superlight Mineral Skinscreen SPF50+, £38, which together comes to a rather eye-watering £340. These Beauty of Joseon products I used, however, come to around £80 in total – a saving of around £260.
