Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt arrive hand in hand at Sitaare Zameea Par screening, watch video
Actor Aamir Khan is all set to make a return to the silver screen with Sitaare Zameen Par after a hiatus of 3 years. Armed with positive reviews from the likes of cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and author Sudha Murthy, the film is Aamir's attempt to break the hold that OTT currently seems to have on Bollywood and its audience. Sitaare Zameen Par, which has been deemed the spiritual sequel to Aamir's 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, will be depending on the power of word-of-mouth to make any kind of mark on the box office.
Aamir arrived with his girlfriend Gauri Spratt, and his son, Azad at the special screening of the film, a day prior to its release. Aamir's daughter Ira Khan arrived with her husband, Nupur Shikare, with whom she tied the knot last year in January.
While Aamir Khan sported an off-white Jodhpuri suit, Gauri Spratt wore an elegant green and golden saree. Aamir, Gauri and Azad posed in front of the poster of the film before the actor came over to meet the photographers. He shook their hands and asked them, 'Achi Jayegi? (It will go fine, right?),' as he crossed his fingers and went back to pose alone.

Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par also stars Genelia D'Souza and 10 debutant actors – Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshka. It will hit theatres on June 20.

Cheating case: HC relief for actor Soubin Shahir
Kochi: High court has extended the date for film actor , his father Babu Shahir and Shawn Anthony, producers of the hit film Manjummel Boys, to appear before police in connection with a financial cheating case. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now They have now been directed to appear on June 26. Earlier, the Maradu police in Ernakulam had summoned the petitioners for interrogation on June 20, based on a cheating complaint filed by Siraj Valiyathara of Aroor. However, the petitioners' pre-arrest bail plea, which was posted for hearing on June 18, could not be taken up by high court. Accordingly, the bench of Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas extended the appearance date to June 26 and posted the plea for hearing on June 23. The case stems from a complaint filed by Siraj before the Ernakulam magistrate court, alleging that Parava Films LLP, owned by the petitioners, had solicited his investment for the film's production. As per an agreement dated Nov 30, 2022, he disbursed a total of Rs 7 crore over multiple transactions. Despite the film's commercial success, the petitioners allegedly failed to honour the profit-sharing agreement. Based on the magistrate court's direction, Maradu police registered the case in 2024. In March 2025, high court had disposed of the petitioners' earlier pre-arrest bail pleas in view of a stay on the proceedings granted in a related petition. However, the court subsequently permitted the police to resume the investigation. Following this, the police issued fresh notices for interrogation, prompting the petitioners to file a new bail application.

Raj Kundra Recalls 'Darkest Times' In Jail: ‘Friendships Vanished Overnight But Shilpa Stood By Me'
Raj's legal troubles are far from over. While he is currently out on bail, the case is still under trial. Raj Kundra, who was arrested in July 2021 in connection with a pornography case, has opened up about the harrowing two months he spent in Arthur Road jail. Speaking to ETimes, the businessman-turned-actor called it 'the darkest times of my life," admitting it was a phase filled with anger, pain, and intense self-reflection. He said, 'There was anger, hurt and confusion, but also deep self-reflection. I could've let that chapter define me, but I chose instead to learn from it." Raj's legal troubles are far from over. While he is currently out on bail, the case is still under trial. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also attached assets worth nearly Rs 98 crore in a money laundering probe related to the case. Reflecting on the fallout, Raj revealed how that period tested his relationships. 'Some friendships vanished overnight, others got stronger than ever. But the real pain was watching my loved ones suffer because of my headlines," he said. The most emotional part of his revelation was about his family's unwavering support, particularly wife Shilpa Shetty. 'Shilpa stood by me with grace and resilience, even when it would've been easier to walk away. My kids gave me reason to smile when I felt like disappearing. That kind of unconditional support rewires your soul," Raj said. Kundra, who is now making his acting debut in the Punjabi film Mehar, said he's not interested in stardom but in telling meaningful stories. 'I'm not chasing stardom — I'm chasing stories," he added. On Friday, Raj posted a heartfelt video montage on Instagram to celebrate Shilpa Shetty. The video, featuring cherished memories over the years, was accompanied by a romantic note: 'The candles are out, but you still light up my world.… and the joy of celebrating you, will never end… every day with you feels like a celebration of love."
