Wigan appoint ex-Preston boss Lowe as head coach
Wigan Athletic have appointed Ryan Lowe as their new head coach on a three-and-half year contract.Lowe replaces Shaun Maloney, who left the Latics earlier this month.The 46-year-old has been out of work since his two-and-a-half year spell at Preston North End ended in August.Wigan are 15th in League One in their second season since being relegated from the Championship.
