EuroMillions results: No winner of massive jackpot, but thousands win prizes
No lucky punter managed to snap up the life changing EuroMillions top prize on Tuesday evening, but almost 90,000 players scooped prizes.
While the €250 million top prize went unclaimed, more than 89,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games - including 10 winners of the Ireland Only Raffle, who bagged €5,000 each.

Alongside these 10 winners, plenty of Irish EuroMillions players won prizes. The winning numbers were: 19, 36, 39, 40, 45 Lucky Stars 5 and 6.
There was also no winner of the Plus draw, worth €500,000, but again, plenty of players snapped up prizes. The winning numbers were: 4, 6, 11, 28 and 44.
Meanwhile, the search is on to find two of Ireland's latest EuroMillions winners who just scooped huge prizes in Friday night's draw.
While the eye-watering €250 million jackpot went unclaimed and now rolls over to Tuesday - becoming the largest EuroMillions jackpot in history - the pair of Irish winners still have plenty to celebrate after matching five main numbers to win €23,054 each.
The winning numbers from the draw were: 20, 21, 29, 30, 35 and Lucky Stars 2 and 12.
As both winners have yet to come forward, the National Lottery is issuing a public appeal for all players to check their tickets. To help the search they have revealed that both tickets were purchased in Dublin.

The company has obtained its Markets In Crypto Assets (Mica) licence, a foundational legal instrument for trading across the EU 27 countries, in Luxembourg. In 2023, Coinbase had said that Ireland was chosen from 27 EU countries to be its regulatory and operational hub for Europe, citing a 'stable political environment for technology innovation', 'respected regulators' and being 'a jurisdiction that is familiar and comfortable with both financial services and technology.' Since then, the Irish Central Bank has consistently denigrated crypto as a sector, with Governor Gabriel Makhlouf publicly branding virtual currencies as 'Ponzi schemes'. Coinbase CEO, Brian Armstrong, said in an interview with CNBC that the company has moved to Luxembourg for regulatory reasons. 'Luxembourg is leading the way with its pro-business climate and thoughtful approach to regulation,' he said. Earlier this year, another prominent crypto company also switched its regulatory hub away from Ireland, where it had initially established its European base. Gemini, the cryptocurrency exchange founded by the US billionaire Winklevoss twins, switched its headquarters from Ireland to Malta, citing a better environment for 'innovation among fintech and digital assets'. Senior figures in the Irish cryptocurrency and blockchain industry have expressed concern that a lack of Irish interest in cryptocurrency regulation is driving companies and jobs away. Earlier this year, the Central Bank tendered for consultants to advise it on crypto regulation, after the EU's main Mica rules had already come into force, prompting accusations of being a party-time regulator from prominent Irish crypto figures. In a move to reassure Irish staff of Coinbase's future here, the company's vice president and regional managing director, Daniel Seifert, said that it would soon hire more people for its Dublin office. New Government taskforce to devise plan to tackle Ireland's sky-high energy bills
A new Government taskforce will draw up an interim plan on ways to ease energy costs for households. Minister for climate, energy and the environment Darragh O'Brien this week chaired the first meeting of the new National Energy Affordability Taskforce, which aims to tackle the sky-high energy costs for consumers in Ireland. The Taoiseach has previously signalled an end to energy credits, which saw all households receive money off their electricity bills in previous years, with no plans to include it in the next Budget. New research has revealed that Ireland is the second most expensive country in the EU, with households here having some of the most expensive energy bills in Europe. 'I understand that many families and businesses are feeling the pressure of current energy prices,' Mr O'Brien said. 'We need to adopt policies which will benefit consumers in the near term and implement reforms to ensure that energy system costs are fairly distributed in the years ahead.' As well as measures to include in Budget 2026, the taskforce has also been asked to identify structural reforms that could be made in the Irish energy sector and to publish a new national energy affordability plan. Included on the taskforce are civil servants from several government departments as well as representatives from the energy regulator, ESB Networks and Eirgrid. Mr O'Brien added: 'The taskforce will be a crucial element of the Government's efforts to improve national competitiveness, protect the most vulnerable within society from rising energy costs and ensure that Irish consumers benefit from the energy transition.' Focus Ireland initiative Separately, Friday saw the announcement of a new arrangement between Bord Gáis and the homeless charity Focus Ireland for some tenants to receive free hot water through surplus renewable energy. The EnergyCloud initiative has seen 45 smart devices installed in Focus Ireland homes in Finglas and Dungarvan. The devices will automatically trigger hot water production when surplus wind energy is available that will reduce waste and cut energy bills.
