Inside Justin Bieber's secret $41 million hideaway

News.com.au30-04-2025

Justin Bieber has hit back over claims about him and wife Hailey Bieber amid ongoing rumours of marital problems.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, the 'Beauty and a Beat' singer addressed the 'gossip' and 'lies' about his personal life.
'They treat me like a** out here, but I remember that I am flawed and God forgave me,' the Grammy winner said .
'It helps me to stop feeling better than those who are mean and hurtful because when I'm really honest, I can be mean and hurtful too.'
'My instinct is to be like, 'Damn I wouldn't gossip and spread lies about someone on the internet,'' he continued, 'but there's other s**t I do I'm not proud of.'
The 31-year-old pop star said marriage to Hailey is still going strong despite speculation about their relationship.
'Honestly if I was u, it would be hard not to be jealous of me and Hailey going brazzzzyy,' he wrote.
'It's really up for us and that's understandable why people can't stand it.'
'I don't blame 'em,' he added. The musician concluded that he and Hailey are like the Joneses, who 'are impossible to keep up with.'
Back in February Justin made headlines after he stepped out in New York looking 'gaunt' and 'exhausted.'
The 'Sorry' singer's appearance has led to speculation that he and Hailey are 'headed for divorce'.
However, the couple attempted to shut down rumours after they were spotted in the Big Apple together a few days later.
While the pair have yet to address the status of their six-year marriage, Hailey, 28, has hunkered down inside their 'private and secluded' $US26 million ($A41 million) California estate with their son, Jack.
According to Realtor, Justin and Hailey snapped up the seven-bedroom Beverly Hills property in 2020.
Situated inside one of Los Angeles' 'most sought-after guard-gated' communities, the home offers the utmost privacy and seclusion to its owners.
The abode features state-of-the-art amenities and comes complete with a stunning entrance area, an expansive living room, a formal dining room, a chef's kitchen, and a sensational theatre room.
It also boasts plenty of windows that overlook the lush landscaping and allow a flood of natural light into the space.
Bieber's home also holds a lavish swimming pool, tennis court, and outdoor living and dining rooms with a barbecue, pizza oven, and koi pond.
When heading upstairs, guests are met with six stunning bedrooms, including a master suite with a separate sitting area, dual closets, and bathrooms with heated floors.
According to its original listing, 'this estate is perfect for large-scale entertaining, set in the middle of park-like grounds, completely private and secluded.'
The pop sensation — who welcomed son Jack in August — spent his teen years building a name for himself in the music industry and splashing out funds on lavish rentals.
Although he was infamous for renting — and trashing — properties throughout his teen years and his early 20s, his current real estate holdings tell a very different story.
The Beverly Hills home is just one of the gems in the Biebers' real estate portfolio, which has been expanded extensively since they got engaged in 2018.
Prior to that, Justin had bounced around from rental to rental, a tactic that sparked many questions from real estate insiders who were perplexed by why he appeared so reluctant to nab his own home.
However, it seems that becoming a husband was the push that Justin needed to also become a homeowner, and several real estate investments quickly followed his proposal to Hailey.
Palm Springs vacation property
In 2023, the Biebers forked out $US16.6 million ($A26.4 million) for a stunning vacation residence in La Quinta, California.
The home sits on an acre within Coachella Valley's Madison Club community, which A-listers such as Scooter Braun, Adele, Kris Jenner, and Kourtney Kardashian also call home.
Their vacation rental was built in 2009 and boasts a French-inspired aesthetic along with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
The property also has its very own guesthouse, tennis court, and a massive swimming pool.
Beverly Hills Monterey home
In 2018, Hailey and her husband splashed out $US8.5 million on a 1930s Colonial home in Beverly Hills.
The dwelling has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a sunken family room.
It also came complete with a wood-panelled library, a theatre room, a wet bar, and a lavish wine cellar. The back of the home featured an infinity pool and a cabana.
The singer grew tired of his home and took to social media to reveal that he would be saying goodbye to it.
'I think I wanna sell my home in Beverly Hills who wants it,' he said in the post.
He then made yet another post revealing that he was wiling to sell the property with all the furniture in it, 'MAKE AN OFFER,' he said.
The Biebers formally listed the home for $US8.9 million in late 2020 and sold it for $US7.9 million in February 2021.
Toluca Lake rental
The couple rented a Spanish-style home for $US100,000 a month just after their courthouse wedding in September 2018.
The property was reported to be on the market for $US8.5 million; however, Justin was believed to have negotiated a month-to-month lease while he and his wife searched for a permanent property.
It came complete with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It also had its own recording studio, gym, and a six-car garage.
This was his second Toulca Lake rental, the first being in early 2016 amid rumours of his romance with Hailey. At the time, he snagged a $US80,000-a-month rental in the area.
Ontario lake house
In July 2018, the couple got engaged and just one month later, Justin purchased a $US5 million home in Ontario, Canada.
The waterfront property boasts a main house, four bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as a private gym, a game room, a movie theatre, a two-storey wine cellar, and three fireplaces.
The couple still owns this stunning lake house and often goes back to it when missing Canada, which is where they both hail from.
Beverly Hills pad and across-the-pond estate
In 2016, Justin splashed out $US55,000 on a rental property that featured six bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The property boasted a see-through fish tank set into the wall, a spa-worthy bathroom, and a lavish pool.
Just before he snapped up the Beverly Hills home, Bieber was situated in a $US133,000-a-month mansion in northwest London.
The property had 15 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, two kitchens, and a wine cellar. It also boasted a tennis court, two pools, and a five-car garage.
At the time, it was believed that Justin was splitting his time between L.A. and London.
Salad spinner home
In 2014, Justin raised eyebrows when he rented a uniquely shaped home for $US59,000 a month.
The property was branded the 'Salad Spinner House' for its curved glass framework. It included six bedrooms, 6.5 baths along, and a seven-car garage.
Bieber rented the home for just two months and then left it because it didn't offer up enough privacy.
The property is now back on the market for $US34.9 million ($A55.5 million).
Hollywood party pad
The singer then rented a Lake Hollywood home for $US29,500 a month. It featured 10 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms and was previously known to host the 2012 'American Idol' cast and film Playboy TV's 'Swing.'
The property was once converted to a fitness retreat centre and also boasted its own nightclub, movie theatre, and bar.
Early Atlanta property
Months before he got his hands on his Lake Hollywood estate, the 'Baby' hit maker rented a spaceship-inspired home in Atlanta.
Justin rented the four-bedroom property for three months so he could be closer to his mentor, Usher, while he created an album.
The home featured a game room and a large pool, making it the perfect spot for relaxing and entertaining.
First Calabasas home
By the time he was 15, Justin was considered a pop sensation; and three years later, he made his first property purchase.
In 2012, he forked over $US6.5 million for a home in the gated community of Calabasas — The Oaks.
The Spanish-inspired abode featured a home theatre, a library, a wine cellar, and a swimming pool.
While there, the 'Love Yourself' hit maker infamously ignited chaos when he threw eggs at his neighbour's home and was then forced to pay $US80,900 in restitution.
In 2014, the singer sold his mansion to Khloe Kardashian for $US7.2 million.

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander welcome second child

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander have welcomed their second child. The 33-year-old model gave birth to son Bellamy Brooks Verlander on Thursday (19.06.25), her representative told TMZ. The following day, 42-year-old baseball star Justin was placed on paternity leave by the San Francisco Giants. The MLB's paternity leave policy allows players to step away for up to three games, barring any issues requiring a longer leave. Kate and Justin already have six-year-old daughter Genevieve, known as 'Vivi', together. The couple tied the knot in 2017, just days after Verlander won the World Series with the Houston Astros. And, in 2019, he spoke about how fatherhood had impacted his career. He told PEOPLE: "I would like to be able to play long enough that my daughter can see me and remember me playing baseball when she grows older," he explained. "Maybe if anything, it's going to push me to stay in shape and stay healthy, and be a good pitcher as long as I possibly can. I want her to be able to remember me on the field." Kate has spoken about how alike Vivi and Justin are, telling PEOPLE last year that they are both "big rule followers," but she's not. She went on: "She loves to dance and have a good time, and she loves to be in the moment. I think she gets that from me."

Star slams Madonna for disrespectful behaviour

On Friday's episode of Watch What Happens Live, Ramos played a game of 'Clubhouse of Horrors,' during which host Andy Cohen asked him to name the 'most terrifying celebrity to spot in the audience' when he was performing in Hamilton on Broadway. 'The most terrifying was Madonna with her iPad in her face. She was like this the whole time,' he said, pretending to look down at an iPad. Anthony Ramos slammed Madonna on Watch What Happens Live for watching her iPad while watching Hamilton. The Hamilton star says he would have happily shown Madonna the door. 'I was like, 'Damn, shawty. If you're not enjoying it that much, you know the door's right there. You ain't gotta stay here!'' Ramos was famously part of the original cast of Hamilton, which made its Broadway debut in 2015. The actor, whose work on the musical earned him the 2016 Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album, originated the roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton. Ramos said Madonna was the 'most terrifying' guest he has spotted in the crowd. Picture:for The Met Museum/Vogue To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical, the entire cast reunited at the 2025 Tony Awards to perform a medley of iconic songs from the play. However, fans were upset that Ramos did not have a solo in the performance. 'That was really nice that people got pissed,' he said on Watch What Happens Lives. Ramos has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Hamilton at the 2021 Emmy Awards. 'They weren't even planning on me being there,' he explained. 'They cut that part, they choreographed the whole number and then I texted Lin Saturday morning like, 'Yo, is it too late to join y'all?' He was like, 'Are you serious?' I was like, 'Yeah, I'm serious.' He was like, 'You got a black suit?' I was like, 'Nah, I could get one.'' 'So, they fit me in where I could fit in,' Ramos continued. 'There was a moment for me but they had to take it out because they didn't plan on me being there.' Don't miss out on the headlines from Celebrity Life. Followed categories will be added to My News. It's about damn time. Lizzo has spoken about her weight loss journey - and clarified her Ozempic use - months after clapping back at rumours about the drug. 'I've tried everything,' the singer, 37, said on Trisha Paytas' Just Trish podcast on Thursday, per Page Six. The Grammy winner explained however that she abandoned the semaglutide, which has not been approved for use for weight loss in Australia, early into her journey. 'Ozempic works because you eat less food, yeah? So if you eat right, it makes you feel full,' she said. 'But if you can just do that on your own and get mind over matter, it's the same thing.' Ozempic is also associated with a number of side-effects including most commonly gastrointestinal disorders like nausea, diarrhoea and vomiting, in a way that doctor-approved changes to diet and exercise are not. Lizzo opened up about her recent body transformation. Picture: Instagram She spoke candidly about losing weight. Picture: Instagram Lizzo revealed that she saw the best results when she ditched her vegan diet. 'When I was vegan, I was consuming a lot of fake meats, I was eating a lot of bread, I was eating a lot of rice and I had to eat a lot of it to stay full,' she recalled. 'When I started actually eating whole foods and eating, like, beef and chicken and fish, I was actually full and not expanding my stomach by putting a lot of fake things in there that [weren't] actually filling me up,' the songwriter continued. She said she tried 'everything' throughout her weight loss journey. Picture: Instagram Performing at the Brit Awards in 2020. Picture:She went on to defend those who use weightloss drugs. 'It's not easy,' Lizzo insisted. 'It's a drug to help somebody with something they're struggling with.' She added that 'telling someone they're cheating' is a 'way of being fatphobic.' According to the TGA in Australia, 'Ozempic has been included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. This means that the medicine has been evaluated by the TGA for its safety, quality and efficacy for that indication only.' Lizzo made headlines in September 2024 for hitting back at an Instagram hater questioning whether she was taking the type II diabetes drug. 'Whyyyy [sic] do u follow me?' she asked at the time. The following year, Lizzo explained that she had, instead, applied 'a calorie deficit' and cut 'sugary stuff' from her diet.
