When Fatima Sana Shaikh burst into tears for 'Metro... In Dino' immediately after relishing chips
Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, who is awaiting the release of her upcoming film 'Metro... In Dino', has shared an interesting anecdote from the shooting of the film.
The actress spoke with IANS ahead of the film's release, and shared how she had to switch on the character in a split second.
One moment, she was busy eating chips during the break, and the other moment, when the director called for a shot, she quickly gulped it, and was all set to deliver the scene.

Speaking with IANS, Fatima said, "I had this in between that we were doing a scene and I have to, you know, walk and cry. If you have seen the trailer, there's a scene with
Pritam
da and Papon. So all that was happening. And the camera is somewhere far away. But, there was a zoom lens, so they can also capture you very clearly".
She further mentioned, "And, I was just having chips while the rest of the people got ready. I didn't know. And it took a little time to tell them that they're ready. I had to burst into tears. I was eating chips. So Dada said, 'Rolling'. And I was like, 'f***'. And I quickly gulped and I started crying. But this is not found in any other set, that you can perform on call. That is only possible with him".
The actress has reunited with Anurag for the second time for the upcoming film, 'Metro...
In Dino' having collaborated with him earlier in 'Ludo'.
Earlier, she cleared some misconceptions about the director, and said that he knows exactly what he wants.
Fatima earlier told IANS, "I love working with him. Actually, there is a misunderstanding. He's a very organised person. When you're on set, your entire day goes by in 5-6 hours. You never shoot overtime. He's so fast. He can easily shoot 4-5 big scenes in a day, which is very tough for people, especially in big films where the cast is also big".
The actress further mentioned that Anurag is highly productive, and knows what he wants, as she said, "It takes a long time, but he's highly productive. He knows his shots. He doesn't waste time figuring out. He knows what he wants".

You will be held accountable." Reflecting upon her own personal experiences, Fatima said she's been into "uncomfortable" positions but never faced outright sexual misconduct on film set. "It's not like the industry is bad. Any incident that has happened, it's just been this one little, small-time somebody and some conversation," she remarked. Praising the OTT giants which have ensured women's safety on the sets of the film, Fatima said, "Somebody will come from this agency... you will have a meeting with the cast, crew, and all the HODs. You will be told what your rights are, what is appropriate, what is not," Fatima explained, referring to the PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) sessions that are now mandatory during shoots. In A Nutshell Fatima Sana Shaikh revealed she never faced sexual misconduct on sets. However, she's often been put into "uncomfortable" situations.

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha , who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film "Nikita Roy," has shared her take on why regular families are less frequently heading to theatres. While there's no dearth of engaging or family-oriented films, the actress believes rising ticket prices and the abundance of at-home content are major factors keeping audiences away. Speaking to IANS, Sinha emphasized that it's not the films that are missing-it's the accessibility of the theatrical experience that has shifted. The 'Akira' actress clarified that it's not a lack of family-friendly films, but a combination of other factors that's keeping regular audiences away. She pointed out that while there's no shortage of stories or family-centric films being made, the overall theatre experience has become too expensive for the average family. "I don't think family stories are missing at all. I feel families are not going-that's a different story. There is no lack of films being made, and there is no lack of family films being made. I just feel that content-wise, there are a lot more options. Also, the theatre-going experience has become very expensive for a regular family. So, I think there are a lot of factors that affect why people are not going to theatres as much. But they are there-the stories are there, the films are there." Speaking about her upcoming film Nikita Roy, Sonakshi expressed confidence that it offers the kind of community viewing experience that could draw families and groups of friends back to cinemas. The 'Dabangg' actress explained, "For a film like Nikita Roy, I think it's a very good community viewing experience where you go with your friends, with your family, you get the thrills and the chills, and the entertainment value that you would get from a theatrical. So, yeah, I think the films are there." Sonakshi Sinha also shared what she believes makes a great story in today's time. The 38-year-old actress stated that the hallmark of a great story lies in its ability to hold the audience from the very beginning. "I think anything that keeps the audience engaged and interested makes for a good story. Nowadays, people's attention spans have become very short. So, I feel that if you don't grip them early in your film, their attention shifts elsewhere. I believe it's very important to have a story that keeps the viewer involved. Whether it's a thriller, a mystery, a drama, or an emotional story-the emotion has to connect in some way or the other so that the audience stays interested throughout. So, I think that's what makes a good story," explained Sinha. "Nikita Roy" stars Sonakshi Sinha in the titular role alongside Paresh Rawal , Arjun Rampal , and Suhail Nayyar .
