The X-Sense Smart Smoke Alarm Kit FS31 comes with one base station that needs to be plugged in and three battery-powered alarms that can be placed anywhere in the house.
All are then connected via 2.4GHz wi-fi to your phone and the X-Sense app, which is well though out and very easy to use. This also means you can monitor your home from wherever you have an internet connection.
If any of the alarms get triggered you will receive an instant notification, and a powerful alarm sound from all four devices, so no matter where you are in the house you will here them.
