Shivam Pandey, senior under officer of the 64 UP Battalion NCC in Lucknow University, has been commissioned into the Indian Army. He was selected through the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, and successfully passed out, earning a commission in the Dogra Regiment.

He secured an All India Rank of 25.
Shivam said, "NCC played a crucial role in building confidence, developing team spirit, and creating awareness about the armed forces."

Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan formally welcomed a group of NCC cadets on their return to shore after a sailing expedition at the Thengaithittu harbour on Friday, June 20, 2025. The 'Sagar Sangram' expedition organised by the NCC Directorate Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman and Nicobar Islands featured a group of 60 cadets from the NCC naval unit drawn from schools and colleges. The group, comprising 35 boys and 25 girl cadets, from NCC units in Puducherry and Cuddalore, had covered an estimated 300km during the 10-day trip to Karaikal via Cuddalore and back. The group, which was accompanied by three naval unit officers and two associates, undertook various social service activities, such as blood donation camps, sapling plantation and cleanliness drives to create awareness among the public at select destinations enroute. A press note from Raj Nivas said the Lt. Governor also visited the photo exhibition set up in this connection that depicted the adventures of the National Cadet Corps, training sessions and social service activities. Colonel R. R. Menon, Group Commander of the National Cadet Corps Puducherry Division and others were present.

Before Counselling: Get Your Documents Ready Before you can choose colleges, you need to verify your documents. Keep all required papers neatly in a folder. Required Documents: KCET 2025 Admit Card KCET 2025 Rank Card Class 10 & 12 Marksheets Study Certificate Aadhar Card Caste & Income Certificates (if applicable) Kannada Medium or Rural Certificate (if applicable) NCC/Sports/Defence Certificate (if any) Printed copy of your KCET Application Form KCET 2025 Counselling: Step-by-Step Step 1: Document Verification Visit your assigned KEA center. Your documents will be checked. You will get a verification slip and a secret login code. Step 2: Web Option Entry Use the code to log in to the KEA portal. Choose your preferred colleges and courses. Add many options, but rank them by priority. Research college cutoffs, placements, and location before finalizing. Step 3: Mock Allotment KEA will release a mock allotment list. It shows where you might get a seat based on your current choices. You can then edit, rearrange, or add more 4: First Round Allotment After final choices, you will get a seat based on rank and preferences. You have four options: Choice 1: Accept the seat and join the college. Exit counselling. Choice 2: Hold the seat, pay the fee, and try in Round 2. Choice 3: Reject the seat and try in Round 2. Choice 4: Exit counselling completely. Round 2 & Extended Round Only those who chose Option 2 or 3 can go to Round 2. In the Extended Round, everyone can update or delete choices. CLAT 2025 Third Merit: The consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially released the third and final merit list for Common Law Admission Test Undergraduate 2025 (CLAT 2025). All the candidates who have participated in counselling rounds can now check the provisional allotment list on the official website, i.e. Candidates who have been allotted the seat will have to pay the fees of Rs. 20,000 by 23rd June, 2025 to confirm their seat till 1 PM. Last. Additionally, the deadline for the payment of confirmation fees is 27th June, 2025 till 5 PM. Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats can freeze their seats and if they are not then they can choose the float option. Candidates must note that the third merit list shows the closing rank for some institutes like NLSIU Bengaluru, their closing rank is 460 for general category, and closing ranks for all the categories is mentioned. The closing ranks show the final cut-offs students need to take admission into that institution under the CLAT 2025.
